THE PERFECT HOLY LAW...NOT VOIDED BY GRACE The world is getting ready to end very soon and God is going to destroy the world due to all the works that are contrary to God. The sad thing about this is, that you have many so called Christians and spiritual people that say they know and believe in God but do not know the main problem with the world is disobedience to God's law. The world does not have a good chance of surviving because the average church teaches that the law has been done away with. Jesus' told us that there would be many false prophets in the last days and since we are in the last days many have been deceived into thinking that God's perfect and holy law has been done away with. But why and how can you disannul something that is perfect and holy in the sight of God? The Microcosm : If someone pardons me for speeding, there is no way I can turn around and say it is okay to speed. The law against speeding is good because it serves a purpose. If I break the law of speeding, there is nothing wrong with speeding, there is something wrong with me. Saying that it is impossible to not speed, would

just be an excuse. Opening Scripture: Proverbs 7:1-4 1 My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. 2 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. 3 Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart. 4 Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman: Neither the law or grace is a new concept. The Lord destroyed the world in Noah's day because the people were contrary to his laws and only a few were saved. Now we are back at that same point and the Lord is going to destroy the world again, and only a few will be saved. Genesis 6 7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. We do not get grace arbitrarily, are actions will allow us to get Grace 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. (Noah only receive grace from God due to his resume. He stood out in the eyes of God as a perfect man. But in order to be perfect there must be a

criteria, and that criteria is God's law) 9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. Abraham was charged to be perfect by God. The contingency of Abraham's blessings which we are hoping to benefit from, were all based on if he was be perfect. However, there had to be something he had to do in order to be perfect. Genesis 17 1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. Abraham and his seed received the blessings of God because Abraham kept God's laws. It was his obedience to God's commandments that made him perfect. God's laws were good enough for Abraham but now people want to do away with God's laws and claim grace but it does not work like that. Genesis 26 4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; 5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

What is it that makes us perfect? We should aspire to be perfect considering that it allowed Noah to receive grace from God and saved him from death and allowed Abraham and his seed to receive blessings and favor from God. It is the LAW of the LORD! Psalm 19 7 The LAW of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. 8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. 9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. Nothing has changed in the New Testament. You cannot change or do away what God esteems as holy. Romans 7 12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. The Law is what points out that we as humans are wrong. If there was no law against killing, then it would be okay to kill. But God made the law saying it is wrong, so if we kill, then we know we are wrong. In order to be right then we must not kill i.e. we must keep the law. (Man cannot convict a person for a crime if there is no law against it) 1 Timothy 1

8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; (You are either lawful or lawless. If you do not run a red light then the law that is against running red lights does not apply to you. But if you run red lights, then that law is directed towards you. God's laws are the same. Man is wicked but yet he knows that you need law for order. He has even mimicked God's laws for e.g. manslaughter, but then people allow pastors to tell them that they do not have to keep the law - foolishness) 9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; Contrary to popular belief, grace does not do away with God's law and our works for salvation. Ephesians 2 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (This means that we did not do anything to receive the grace. It does not mean that we do not have to do anything to keep and obtain it in the long run) 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Once we receive God's grace, then we are to work for God and do good works in order to maintain that grace) 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

People want to do away with the law because it condemned us to death. However, there was nothing wrong with the law, the problem was with us because we broke it. Under God's Grace, we are not condemned to death as we rightfully should be. But we have a chance for eternal life if we obey God's holy law. Romans 6 (This is another common scripture that folks go to in order to try and do away with God's laws. However, we cannot do away with all the other clear cut scriptures that we have read. This verse does not deal with our duty, it deals with out status. We were under the penalty of the law due to sin. Now we are not under the penalty of the law due to God's grace. But to maintain this grace, we have to keep the law that got us in trouble in the first place) 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. (Sin had dominion over us because the wages of sin is death and that is every man's natural status because we have all sinned. However, under God's grace, we all have a new status which is life. But in order to receive that life, we must keep God's commandments.) 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Sin is the breaking of God's laws. People cannot say that we are no longer under the law, and then turn around and call someone a sinner. 1 John 3:4 4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Contrary to popular belief, grace does not void the law! Paul warns us not to break the law (sin) because if we sin after receiving God's grace then sin (death) will have dominion over us once again. However, if we take hold of God's grace then sin will not have dominion over us as long as we strive not to sin, i.e. obey God's laws. Romans 6 1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. (New Status due to Grace) 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. (Does Grace Void the Law! No) 15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. The Lord nailed the death sentence which came with breaking the law, to the cross. He did this by way of his grace, but this does not mean that we can continue to sin.

Colossians 2 (Another place that people use to try and void God's law) 13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; (In order for us to get into God's kingdom God had to blot out our past sins through his grace, that would have prevented us from entering the kingdom. Just as man has the authority to blot out our transgression against man made laws (e.g. speeding), God has the authority to blot out our past transgressions against his Holy Law) 14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; King David knew that God was capable of blotting out/forgiving our sins due to his grace and mercy. God does not change. Psalm 51 1 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. (We have to acknowledge our sins in order to get forgiveness) 3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. (God see's all our sins. We may not offend another person when we sin, but we will always offend God) 4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. 9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. 13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. Colossians 2 was explaining/reiterating this: Isaiah 43 25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. After God forgives us for our sins, it is our job to walk worthy of the benefit he gave us by obeying his laws. Isaiah 44 22 I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee. Church folks act like the law is sin, or like something is wrong with the law. However, there is nothing wrong with sin because the law points out what sin is. We are the problem, not the

perfect law. Romans 7 7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. (Before we become aware of the difference between right and wrong through God's law, we are dead to sin because we are not cognizant of the fact that we are sinning, even tho we are) 8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. (Therefore, we feel like we are doing no harm and that all is well. But once we find out that we have sinned against God through his law, we then feel bad) 9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. (The commandment was ordained to life because if we never would have broken it, then we would have received everlasting life. But by the time we found that out, we had broken it, which condemned us to death) 10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. 11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. 12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. (Paul makes it plain, that it is not the laws fault that we are under the death sentence. It is our breaking of the law which is the problem) 13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. 14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

Another place that people go to try and void God's laws. However, in context, this is speaking about the sacrificial law (the addendum to the original law) which was a schoolmaster that taught us about the consequences of sin, so we could eventually appreciate the death and sacrifice of Jesus. Galatians 3 (The law cannot save anyone. The only way it could have saved us is if we were not condemned by Adam's sin and if we walked perfectly and never broke the law. If so, we would not need a savior. Jesus was the only one who did not need a savior because he was not born of man's seed and did not commit sin.) 19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. 20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. 21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. 22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. 23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. (The animal sacrifice law was our schoolmaster unto Christ) 24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. (Now that we have the grace of Jesus, we do not need to kill animals. But faith without works is dead) 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

Paul, explaining the law of animal sacrifice which does not do away with the original, perfect and holy law. Hebrews 10 1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. 2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. (Animal Sacrifice could not blot out our sins, because if that were the case we would not have to continually make sacrifices) 3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year. (The animal sacrifice was temporary grace that pointed to Jesus) 4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. 10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. We all need Jesus' grace (sacrifice/blood) for eternal life. Yet, it does not do away with our responsibility. Romans 3 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

(God's sacrifice is for our past sins. Once they are forgiven, then we have to strive to obey the law) 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. 27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. (Deeds of the law cannot justify us because we are all sinners. We need Jesus' grace and we need faith in his grace, but faith without works is dead.) 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. We do not do away with God's law due to grace. Now that we have a second chance we are supposed 31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. The Lord is going to destroy this world because people, and churches have tried to make his holy, perfect law null and void. Psalm 119 126 It is time for thee, Lord, to work: for they have made void thy law. The Lord gives us all free will. He does not want any to perish, but if we choose to live a life of sin, after hearing the truth, then we will be recompensed with death. The Lord has been graceful and merciful unto us, but we can only take advantage of his grace and mercy by turning from our fleshly desires and obeying

his commandments. Revelation 22 10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. 11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. (To escape God's wrath and to enter into his kingdom we must keep God's law) 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. (If we do not keep God's law, then we are lawless and we will face God's wrath) 15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
