It started off a couple of years ago with a bang and soon became the smartest all day dining / five star coffee shop in town. The lovely fresh blue and white decor then paled somewhat while other five stars emerged on the Pune scene.foodi am happy to comment that Seasonal Tastes is back on top with a mind boggling variety ofrnbreakfast offerings which range from the healthy to the internationally spectacular and to all time Indian regional favourites. The Westin internationally prides itself on its 'wellness' options in all aspects of the hotel. The food is no exception. I love the idea of customised breakfast options. The Westin breakfast sets are largely western with combos of cereals, fruit and pastries. The Japanese one with teriyaki salmon, tofu and Japanese omlette sounds intriguing and the Asian one with Vietnamese chicken noodle soup (pho ga), dim sum and congee, downright tempting. All this in Pune? Wait, there's more Indian combos...healthy combos with fruit and vegetable juices (my carrot and ginger was spot on), oatmeal and banana brule, cereals with fruit, home-made muesli and granola it's all so well thought out and leaves no breakfast stone unturned.along with all the cuisines and options, you have the regular buffet which is by no means 'regular' by any stretch of the culinary imagination - muffins, pastries, cold cuts, cheeses, sandwiches, salads, fruit and juices, eggs to order and appams, dosa and idli freshly made, a whole bunch of really well executed north and south Indian favourites, fried rice and noodles. The dinner buffet has also changed to include focus on a singular international cuisine daily. And the prices for this quality of food and service are as unbelievable. Buffet breakfast is under 700 including tax and combos range from 250 to 550 which includes tea and coffee. The newish Bubblicious Sunday brunch where you can wander around and eat from any or all of the Westin's restaurants all afternoon, is arnstaggering 999 only!plus and MinusThey should advertise their staggering reasonable rates.
