Healing is where 'God is'... "God is..." These two words are found in Hebrews Chapter 11, Verse 6: God IS. How can these two words relate to receiving healing? In receiving healing, you must begin with these two words. If you stop right now, close your eyes and say: "God is", what do you sense? When I do that, I immediately sense God's Presence. He is omni-present (present everywhere at once)all the time, and the moment that you think about Him, He is present with you in particular. Does He have healing to give you? Is there anything He cannot heal? God is present with you in the Person of His Holy Spirit. In the Person of the Holy Spirit with you, there IS healing. The Holy Spirit with you is the 'virtue' that heals. No praying, no begging, no hoping, no maybe's...healing virtue is IN Him and He is present WITH YOU. Open your spirit to Him and begin receiving. God IS. Healing IS. Present tense. Everything God is, is present WITH you when you say: "God IS!" I cannot stress that enough. EVERYTHING God IS - is present with you. Do you need to review all of His Name's: Jehovah-jireh; Jehovah-shaloam; Jehovah-rapha? "I AM the Lord thy physician", Exodus 15:26. Notice the tense of the word, 'is'. Present tense. Who is God? He said to Moses: I AM that I AM. HE IS 'God-in-the-NOW'. 1
Saying 'God IS'- puts healing in the Present tense: When I was receiving healing for cancer (without treatments or surgery other than to remove the cancerous tumor), and I wanted to draw on The Virtue, I always started the receiving by thinking, "God is...". This immediately put me in the consciousness of victory. It put me on 'God's side' of the equation. It brought my soul into realms of receiving from the Power that raised Jesus from the dead. (When you get your soul on God's side of the equation, there is NOTHING YOU CAN DO BUT RECEIVE. He has already made provision for anything you require for life and godliness.) God's focus on you is caused by your focus on Him: quantum physics in the natural is an illustration of this truth: If you haven't read Annette Capps' book: Quantum Faith, I would encourage you to do so. It really opened my understanding to exactly how God's power works in the body when it needs healing. When I was meditating on the words, 'God is', the information she gave in her mini book about how atoms function came to my mind. I quote: "Scientists have performed experiments with atoms and their subatomic particles such as electrons. If you paid attention in school, you saw the diagram of an atom with the electron orbiting it like the earth orbits the sun. 2
The interesting thing is that scientists have discovered that the electron that is shown orbiting the nucleus is not always there in particle form. It exists in a wave state (like a cloud, everywhere at once) until someone looks at it. When the scientist observes it, it suddenly appears as a dot (particle). What we all want to know, is, "How does it know someone is looking at it?" It obviously is responding to the observer's interaction with it." (Quantum Faith, Pg. 8&9) Again, meditating on the words, 'God is', I thought about God being 'everywhere at once', like the 'cloud' surrounding the nucleus of the atom. The most interesting part she shared was the fact that the electron did not appear to sight until the scientist 'looked' at it. The 'cloud particle' KNEW someone was looking at it, and it formed into a visible dot the scientist could see! The Holy Spirit said to me: "That is how God is...he is the Ever-Present 'cloud' surrounding all things and you in particular. When you, like the scientist, look at Him, then He 'looks' back at you. You have His full attention/focus. He is ready to supply what you are 'looking at Him' expecting (faith) to receive. Remember, the natural - quantum physics - is just a 'shadow' of Reality as the Tabernacle of Moses was a 'shadow' of the True Tabernacle which the Lord pitched and not man, (Hebrews 9:9,23). I saw it! This is what was happening when I would 'lay a hold of the hem of His garment' for healing. Just read these verses and sense the 'crossing from cloud to sight' in the woman with the issue of blood as she touched the hem of Jesus' garment. 'Crossing from cloud to sight' - is another way of saying, 'faith is giving substance to the things hoped for', (Hebrews 11:1). And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and IMMEDIATELY her issue of blood stanched. And Jesus said, Who touched me? Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue has gone out of me. (Luke 8:43-46) 3
Notice that the Holy Spirit responded immediately to the woman's 'look of faith' when she touched the hem of Jesus garment, just as the electron responded immediately when the scientist looked at it. Nature is a reflection of God's operations, He created it that way. We are just now discovering how the 'quantum' level of these operations in the natural work and that can help us actually understand the 'operations of God' spiritually. Colossians 2:12 states in the King James: "the faith of the operation of God". I first saw this statement as God having me on an operating table and taking out of me the sinful nature and giving me His Nature (see the context). Then I saw it as Him renewing my mind when I take in the Word. Then I saw it as Him healing/operating on my body when I "looked" at Him. The statement, 'God is', shows faith: "He who comes to God must believe that HE IS...and that He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him," (Hebrews 11:6). I am not speaking to those who DON'T BELIEVE that God IS. I am speaking to those WHO BELIEVE that God IS. Since you believe that God IS, you HAVE FAITH TO RECEIVE. Faith toward God... Faith 'toward' God (Hebrews 6:1) causes God to 'turn toward you', focusing All that He IS ON YOU! What you 'see', the 'electron' of healing, etc. that is IN HIM, then MANIFESTS...just as in quantum physics. Hebrews Chapter 11, Verse 6 could read: "He is a REWARDER of those who diligently OBSERVE HIM". Think about that reading and the parallels to quantum physics realities. 4
Say, "God IS" to yourself, often. And receive the reward of healing. I did this for a year and had a cancer free mammogram. I still draw daily by saying to myself throughout the day, "God IS". I say it in every problem, situation, symptom, need. In saying "God IS", He always becomes the Superior One in the situation and rewards me as I 'receive' HIM as the Solution. It isn't a mental receiving either. It is a Spirit-to-spirit receiving, like the woman taking in the virtue when she touched the hem of Jesus' garment. I pray God will open your understanding to 'know' how receiving functions. Pray for that...everything from God comes to you this way. John 15: I am The True Vine and you are the branch.
