CONCLUSION Having seen the What? we can ask: When is the When? we see the destruction of Russia, Islam and Egypt. (Ezekiel 38.8, 11, 14; Ezekiel 38.1-39.16; 30.1-5) we see the first stage of the conversion of Israel and also Gentiles. (Ezekiel 39.7) we see the ancient city of Babylon begin to be rebuilt. (Zechariah 5.5-11)

we see a world church and the rise of the False Prophet. (Rev. 17.1-5, 18; 13.11-17) we see a world economic system in place. (Revelation 13.15-17) we see a world government. (Daniel 7.23) we see the world government break into 10 divisions. (Daniel 7.24) we see the rebuilding of the Temple. (Revelation 11.1-2; 2 Thessalonians 2.4) 2

we see an amazing man rise out of obscurity and begin to solve the world s problems. (Daniel 7.20, 24; 8.9; Revelation 13.1-10) we see the rumblings of the overflowing scourge. (Joel 2.1-11; Isaiah 28.15) we see the people of the world say, Peace and safety! (1 Thessalonians 5.3) we see the prophet Elijah appear in Jerusalem. (Malachi 4.5) we see indications of the impending covenant between Israel and the Antichrist. (Isaiah 28.15; Daniel 9.27) 3

When we see signs in the sun and moon and stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, in perplexity for the roaring of the sea and the billows; men fainting for fear, and for expectation of the things which are coming on the world: for the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. (Luke 21.25-26) And when those signs begin to take place, the day star will arise in your heart, giving you the assurance that the Lord will appear, and Then you will know WHEN! For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we that are alive, that are left, shall together with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4.16-18) Behold, I tell you a mystery: We all shall not sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. (1 Corinthians 15.51-53) 4

AFTERWORD If there is no gap between the Rapture and the Tribulation as explained in Chapter 10, then the Pre-Tribulation Rapture cannot take place at any moment. More than a dozen major prophecies must be fulfilled before the start of the Tribulation and thusly before the Rapture. All students of Bible prophecy should learn what those prophecies (warning signs) are, and then carefully watch for them to be fulfilled. No one can calculate the exact year, month or day of the Rapture ahead of time. Yet as we watch the fulfillment of the prophecies that must be fulfilled before the Rapture/Tribulation we will be able to determine how close we are to that blessed hope (Titus 2.13). It is important to know what the major Bible prophecies are that must be fulfilled prior to the Rapture/Tribulation. By knowing what those prophecies are we will be able to explain to the lost that the Bible is the Word of God, and that the prophecies concerning the last days are being fulfilled. Fulfillment of Bible prophecy is one of the most powerful proofs that the Bible is the Word of God. Knowing Bible prophecy is also important to edify, encourage and stimulate fellow Christians unto love and good works (Hebrews 10.24). We should do this all the more as we see the day drawing nigh (Hebrews 10.25). The day that is drawing nigh is the day of the Rapture. Study Appendix A carefully, and then watch for the fulfillment of those warning signs. As you see them be fulfilled share the importance of those prophecies with fellow believers. Also share them with those who are not saved, and pray that they will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. All Christians are ambassadors of Jesus Christ: We are ambassadors therefore on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beseech you on behalf of Christ, be ye reconciled to God. (2 Corinthians 5.20) And we are commanded to know how to share the gospel: And having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace. (Ephesians 6.15) But sanctify in your hearts Christ as Lord: being ready always to give answer to every man that asketh you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, yet with meekness and fear. (1 Peter 3.15) A good way to learn how to share the gospel is to memorize the basic salvation verses given in Appendix B. Then find a brother at the church you attend who knows how to share the gospel, and go out with him to share it. Some churches have classes to teach members how to share the gospel and some have evangelistic programs. Every Christian should take advantage of those classes and programs. 5

As noted in the Preface all Christians are commanded to resist evil and expose the evil deeds of the wicked, including the coming New World Order: Be sober, be watchful: your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour, whom withstand stedfast in your faith, knowing that the same sufferings are accomplished in your brethren who are in the world. (1 Peter 5.8-9) And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them; for the things which are done by them in secret it is a shame even to speak of. But all things when they are reproved are made manifest by the light: for everything that is made manifest is light. (Ephesians 5.11-13) Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (Ephesians 6.11) He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; Peoples shall curse him, nations shall abhor him: But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, And a good blessing shall come upon them. (Proverbs 24.24-25) They that forsake the law praise the wicked; But such as keep the law contend with them. (Proverbs 28.4) For consider him that hath endured such gainsaying of sinners against himself, that ye wax not weary, fainting in your souls. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. (Hebrews 12.3-4) As a troubled fountain, and a corrupted spring, So is a righteous man that giveth way before the wicked. (Proverbs 25.26) (Emphasis mine) All Christians are commanded to withstand steadfast against (resist) the devil, reprove the wicked and their evil deeds, stand against the wiles (schemes) of the devil, keep the Law (of YHWH) to contend with them, strive against sin and not give way before the wicked. If you are not actively doing these things on a continual basis you are not fully serving the Lord. Now that you know what you should do, do it and tell others. Share this book and the information in it with as many people as you can. Buy extra copies, and give them to those you love. R. William Keller December 2009 6

GLOSSARY Angels are created beings who serve God (Daniel 7.10; Hebrews 12.22; Jude 14; Revelation 5.11) and Christians (Hebrews 1.14). One third of them joined Satan in his rebellion (Revelation 12.4). They are called fallen angels. Antichrist He will be the ruler of a Middle Eastern nation who will rise to power prior to the Rapture (Daniel 7.20, 24; 8.9; Revelation 6.1-2), and be identified as the Antichrist before the Rapture (2 Thessalonians 2.1-3). After the Rapture, he will assume control of the world, but will be under the power of the World Church (Rev. 17.3). At the mid-point of the seven-year Tribulation, he will take total control of the world government by the power of Satan (Rev. 13.4), and rule with absolute authority for 42 months (Rev. 13.5). He will blaspheme God (Daniel 7.25; Rev. 13.5-6), and persecute and kill those who are saved after the Rapture (Daniel 7.21, 25; Rev. 13.7). Any Moment is a term that means Jesus Christ can return to Rapture the Church at any time. There are no warning signs or events that must take place first. The idea is not biblical. Apostasy It is the falling away of the Church, from the faith and biblical doctrines, to a false faith and to false doctrines (2 Thessalonians 2.3; 2 Timothy 4.3-4). It started at the end of the 19th century, and will continue until the Rapture. Apostles They were the eleven disciples (Judas Iscariot not included), Matthias (Luke 1.26) and Paul, that Jesus chose to preach the gospel, make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28.19-20; Acts 1.8) and build His Church (Ephesians 4.11-13). Beast He is the Antichrist. This future world ruler is also called the man of sin and the son of destruction (2 Thessalonians 2.3), among other names. Bible It is the infallible, holy word of God. It contains all the information that every believer needs to live his life for the Lord Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 3.16). It contains hundreds of prophecies that have been fulfilled in a literal manner, and many more which will be fulfilled prior to the Rapture. They are warning signs that all Christians must look for to know how near the Rapture is. Christ He is the Messiah. Christ is the English word for the Hebrew word Messiah. The Messiah is the one prophesied to first die for mankind, and secondly to rule mankind. Jesus of Nazareth fulfilled all of the prophecies of the First Coming of the Messiah. He is called Christ throughout the New Testament. Christians are true believers in Jesus Christ. Not everyone who calls himself a Christian is truly born anew (John 3.3). Jesus said that on judgment day some people, who thought they were saved and serving Him, will be turned away into Hell (Matthew 7.21-23). 7

Church It is the body of the Lord Jesus Christ, which consists of all true believers in Christ (1 Corinthians 12.27; Ephesians 4.12). Day of Christ It is the same as the Day of the Lord. It is a period of time that begins with the Rapture/Tribulation and ends at the Glorious Appearing. Day Star It is the assurance that God will give to diligent students of Bible prophecy that the Rapture is about to occur just before it takes place (2 Peter 1.19). Devil He is also known as Satan (see Satan). Disciples (the Twelve) They were the 12 men that Jesus chose to train (Luke 6.14-16) so they could build His Church after His ascension (Ephesians 4.11-13). They became the apostles, except for Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus and committed suicide. Paul was chosen by Jesus (Acts 9.1-16) to replace him as the twelfth apostle. In our opinion, Matthias (Acts 1.26) was a temporary substitution until Paul was called. End Times It is an indeterminate period of time that began with the falling away (apostasy) of the Church from the faith. It will end with the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. We are living in the end times. Eschatologian is a person who studies eschatology and writes books or essays on it. Eschatology is the study of the last things in Bible prophecy (the end times ). Fallen Angels are the angels that joined the devil in his rebellion. A third of the angels followed the devil (Revelation 12.4), and became the principalities, the powers, the world-rulers of this darkness, and the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6.12) that rule the world with the devil. False Prophet He will be the religious leader who heads the World Church, enforcing the dictates of Antichrist (Revelation 13.11-18). Futurist A person who believes that the prophecies of the Rapture, Tribulation and Second Coming of Christ would be fulfilled after the Bible was completed (around 100 AD). They began to be fulfilled in the 19th century with the apostasy of the Church, and then with the world wars, birth of the nation of Israel, etc. Gap It is a period of indeterminate time between the Rapture and the start of the Tribulation. The idea is not biblical. Gospel It is the good news that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died to save mankind. Great White Throne Judgment It is the final judgment of the unsaved at the conclusion of the Millennial Kingdom (Revelation 20.11-15). They will give an account of every sin they committed in deed (Proverbs 24.12; Ecclesiastes 11.9; Rev. 20.12-13), in word (Matthew 12.36-37), in thought (Psalm 94.11; Proverbs 24.9; Matthew 15.19) and in motive (Proverbs 24.12; Romans 2.16). The unsaved are given a specific level of 8

punishment for their sins, and then cast into the Lake of Fire where they will spend all eternity. Hell is the place, in the heart of the Earth (Matthew 12.40), where people go who die in their sins (Luke 19.16-31). They are punished with fire, brimstone, burning coals (Psalm 11.6; 140.10) and unquenchable thirst (Luke 16.24), while they wait to be judged at the Great White Throne Judgment (Revelation 20.13-14). The Greek word for Hell is Hades. Some English translations translate the Greek word Gehenna as hell. Gehenna is a reference to the Lake of Fire (Matthew 18.9). Holy Spirit He is the Third Person of the Trinity. He literally indwells the body of every believer in Jesus Christ. He is a person, not a force. Imminence is a doctrine that teaches Jesus Christ could have returned to rapture the Church at any moment since Pentecost; therefore, there are no warning signs or events that must take place before the Rapture. Jehovah is the proper name of God. It is the English transliteration of the Hebrew name Yahweh. It is used in the American Standard Version that is quoted in this book. Jesus Christ is God the Son, the Second Person of the Trinity, who died to redeem mankind (Romans 3.24; 5.8). He rose from the tomb after three days (1 Corinthians 15.4), and ascended to Heaven (Acts 1.9; Mark 16.19) where He rules the universe with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. He will return in the future to rapture the Church (1 Thessalonians 4.16-17); then seven years later, He will return to judge the wicked and establish His Millennial Kingdom (Matthew 25.31-46). Lake of Fire It is the final abode of Satan and the fallen angels (Matthew 25.41; Revelation 20.10). It is also the final abode of everyone who dies in their sins without trusting in Jesus Christ for salvation (Rev. 20.11-15). Everyone who is cast into that place of punishment (Proverbs 10.16; Matthew 25.46) has no hope of parole, pardon or escape. Last Days See End Times. Mark of the Beast It is a mark, of some kind, that the Antichrist will force everyone on Earth to take, to be able to buy, or sell, or receive government benefits. Messiah See Christ. Millennial Kingdom Also known as the Millennium, it is a period of time that begins with the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, and ends after 1000 years (Revelation 20.1-10). The major passages describing that age are Isaiah 4.1-6; 11.6-10; 25.6-7; 60.1-9; 61.3-11; 62.1-9; 65.17-25; 66.22-24; Jeremiah 23.3-8; 30.18-22; 33.6-18; Ezekiel 40-48; Joel 3.18-21; Micah 4.1-8; Zephaniah 3.9-13; Zechariah 14.9-11, 16-21). Millennialism is a teaching that there will be a literal kingdom on Earth in which Jesus Christ will reign for 1000 years. 9

Amillennialism teaches there is no literal Millennial Kingdom. Jesus Christ will return, some time in the future, with no warning signs to alert us of His return. It is a false teaching that was taught by heretics in the second and third centuries AD Clement of Alexandria, Caius, Origen and Dionysius. All but Caius were heretics. It was later popularized by Augustine early in the 5th century. Augustine was a faithful Roman Catholic priest who held to all of the false doctrines of the church, including the damnable doctrine of Purgatory. Postmillennialism teaches that Christians will create a Golden Age, and once their Utopian Paradise is established, Jesus Christ will return. Premillennialism teaches Jesus Christ will physically return to Earth before the Millennial Kingdom is established. The Lord is the one who establishes it when He returns. New Testament It is the second section of the Bible that was written between 45 to 95 AD, by the apostles Matthew, John, Paul and Peter, and also by Luke, Mark and James. Old Testament The first section of the Christian Bible was written by many men between 2000 BC and about 430 BC. Olivet Discourse It is the private briefing on future events that Jesus gave His disciples shortly before His arrest. It is recorded in Matthew 24-25, Mark 13 and Luke 21. Pentecost is the day that the Church began (Acts 2.1). On that day, 120 believers in Jesus Christ gathered to pray (Acts 1.12-15), and the Holy Spirit came and took up residence inside of them (Acts 2.1-4). The disciples then went out and preached the Gospel (Acts 2.5-13). Peter gave the concluding sermon on this day (Acts 2.14-40), and about 3000 people were saved (Acts 2.41). Preterism, Full is the belief that all prophecy in the Bible hitherto unfulfilled was fulfilled in 70 AD. It teaches that Jesus Christ physically returned at that time (in the air), and that He will never return to Earth again. The Great White Throne Judgment took place at that time. There is no Millennial Kingdom, and no more divine intervention on Earth. Mankind will continue to live on a sin-polluted planet until the sun explodes and destroys it. Preterism, Partial teaches that all Bible prophecies were fulfilled in 70 AD, except for the physical return of Jesus Christ. He will return in the future to judge the righteous and the wicked. There will be no Millennial Kingdom. Rapture It is the resurrection and catching away of dead believers in Jesus Christ, and the transformation of living believers mortal bodies to immortal ones, and the catching away of them to meet the Lord in the air (1 Corinthians 15.51-53; 1 Thessalonians 4.16-17). It takes place on the day that the Tribulation starts. 10

Pre-Tribulation Rapture Jesus Christ will rapture the Church prior to the start of the Tribulation. Mid-Tribulation Rapture Jesus Christ will rapture the Church at the mid-point of the Tribulation. Pre-Wrath Rapture Jesus Christ will rapture the Church near the end of the Tribulation, just before the pouring out of the wrath of God through the seven bowl plagues (Revelation 16.1). Post-Tribulation Rapture Jesus Christ will rapture the Church at the end of the Tribulation, just as He returns. Resurrection There are two general resurrections. The first resurrection is divided into four parts. The resurrection of Jesus and a select number of Old Testament saints (Matthew 27.52-53) was the first part. The second part is the resurrection of all believers of the Church Age (1 Thessalonians 4.15-17). The third part is the resurrection of the two witnesses (Revelation 11.11-12). The final part of the first resurrection is that of believers who are martyred during the Tribulation and the Old Testament saints (Rev. 20.4). The second resurrection, of the unsaved, takes place at the end of the Millennial Kingdom (Rev. 20.5). The unsaved are resurrected, judged, found guilty and cast into the Lake of Fire where they will spend all eternity with no hope of parole, pardon or escape (Rev. 20.11-15). Satan, the highest-ranking angel, led a rebellion of angels, and was expelled from Heaven, taking one-third of them with him (Revelation 12.4). He is the ruler (John 12.31; 14.30; 16.11; 1 John 5.19) and the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4.4). He is the leader of all the forces of darkness (Ephesians 6.12), and he is the prince of the power of the air (Ephesians 2.2). Second Coming It is the physical return of Jesus Christ to Earth to judge the wicked and reward the righteous (Matthew 25.31-46; Revelation 19.11-21). He will then establish the Millennial Kingdom. It is also referred to as the Second Advent and the Glorious Appearing. Signs See Warning Signs. Tribulation It is a seven-year period of time during which God pours out His wrath on the world. It is the 70th week of Daniel (9.24-27). It is described in chapters 6-19 of Revelation, the Olivet Discourse and many other passages in the Bible. Trinity This is another word for the Godhead, which consists of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Each is fully God and equal to each other in all ways. Each is omnipotent (all powerful), omniscient (all-knowing), and omnipresent (present everywhere). Together, They created and rule the universe. 11

Warning Signs are past events that have fulfilled Bible prophesy. They are also prophecies of future events that will be fulfilled before the start of the Tribulation, alerting Christians to the nearness of the Rapture. World Church Prior to the start of the Tribulation, a world religion will be established. All of the religions of the world will be part of this false church. When the Tribulation starts, it will have total control over all the churches on Earth. The churches that refuse to be part of the false church will be shut down. It will also control the Antichrist for the first 42 months of the Tribulation (Revelation 17.1-7). World Economy A world economic system will be established before the Tribulation starts. During the Tribulation, the Antichrist will use this economic system to force everyone on earth to worship him and take his mark (Revelation 13.15-17). World Government Before the Tribulation starts, a super-government will be established that will have control over all the governments of the world (Daniel 7.23). Sometime after this world government is established it will divide into a coalition of ten kingdoms which will then rule all the nations of the world (Daniel 7.23; Revelation 17.12). 12
