THE NATIONAL REJECTION OF MESSIAH BY THE NATION OF ISRAEL 61 Religious Leaders of Israel Officially Reject Her King The leadership of Jerusalem, having received witness in Jerusalem of the Messianic Miracle of the Jewish leper healed of leprosy by Messiah (Section 45), descend to Galilee to make their conclusion about the claims of Yeshua that HE is the Meissah and the King of Israel. Yeshua performs another Messianic Miracle - the healing of the mute demon possessed man. The people ask the leadership in response to the observation of this Messianic Miracle, "this man cannot be the Son of David, can he?" The leadership finishes its observation and interrogation of Yeshua's claims and renders the conclusion. "But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, 'This man casts out demons only by Beelzebul the ruler of the demons.'" Yeshua announces that in rejecting Him as Messiah and King, the leadership of the nation of Israel has committed the Unpardonable Sin. Yeshua announces the post-rejection policy of division in the nation of Israel, "He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters."
