When the groom is taken away Luke 5:33-39
Main Idea: The gospel is incompatible with every other religion including Jewish Traditionalism.
China, Walking on hot coals with pregnant wife on your back tradition
On thanksgiving, Americans mutually agree to eat as much food as possible, this tends to put them, in what they call a food coma. After several hours of eating and sleeping, they wake up only to eat pie and watch football. They are able to eat and sleep like this because they have
already accepted the fact they will gain 5-10lbs over the weekend. Then, on Thursday night, instead of going to bed, they go stand in line outside shopping malls in the freezing cold to save an extra 10 percent on stuff they don t need or really want. This is still very strange to me.
