From the desk of Father David Today as I passed through the car wash, I felt an incredible peace. I always feel at peace when I go through the automatic carwash, because in that short amount of time I don't call anyone and no one calls me. I can't do anything, but sit there and be in the present moment. I realize that what makes me most peaceful is that it forces me to be in the Present Moment. God s name is I AM and not I will be or I was! St. Michael Church has a rich tradition of Fish Dinners dating back 60+ years! Our dinners are our main fundraiser and why we are able to give our church $25,000 every year! Your help with these dinners is extremely important! It would be a terrible shame to lose this tradition like so many other churches in our area have lost their dinners --so please sign up to help. We need 132 parishioners to have a smooth running, successful dinner. The first dinner is an all volunteer dinner there are no circle chair-people calling for volunteer workers. *High school students needing a service projects are welcome to sign up also -- there are plenty of spots open!
