FSG faith knowledge assessment The purpose of this is not for competition, comparison, or any other self fulfilling test to puff up or tear down anyone taking it. This is simply added to help each individual to evaluate If you ve received, understood, and are able to apply what you ve learned to everyday life. This assessment is separated into three sections: 1.) Knowledge The answers can be found in the lessons themselves. 2.) Understanding- The answers of this section are to see if you understood want has been taught. 3.) Application This is to check on your ability apply what you ve learned to different scenarios. Understanding 1. What does it mean to worship the Father in Spirit & in Truth? - To worship God fully based on the Bible which is both spiritual and truth. 2. We are to offer our bodies as living sacrifices Holy and Pleasing to God. What makes it Holy and Pleasing? - Only God makes things holy and only God knows what pleases him, following exactly what the Bible says. 3. Exactly how does a Christian produce fruit from the Spirit? When we as branches stay in Christ the vine and when we as soil get the seed of the Bible placed in us we produce fruit in how we live. 4. The Christian that lives displaying the acts of the sinful nature will go to heaven when they die but will get no rewards (True or False)? (Explain) - False. Gal 5:21 says those that live like this will not inherit the Kingdom of heaven. 5. The Bible explains Love is and action not a reaction. Please explain what that means. Love is not some feeling you get because of. It s an action you choose to display through action. 6. Give an example of living by faith not by sight - 7. Explain why self-control is part of the protection from Satan. Because Satan s main attacked is getting us to go against God. 8. Because unless you are perfect when you condemn other you re condemning yourself. 10. Explain the only acceptable marriage in God s eyes as stated in Mathew 19:4-12 Between one man and one woman and the only acceptable way to divorce and remarry is adultery. 11. Explain what Jesus means when he states in Mathew 15 that they worship me in vain. It means when we don t live our lives for Christ but talk a good talk it s like we are not worshiping at all. 3

I deny myself to get to know them in order to guide them to where they need to go. 14. When Jesus was on earth exactly how did he judge others? - John 8:15-16 he only gave as God gave to him. 15. Explain the difference between timid fear and reverent fear Timid fear is cowardly fearing usually based on your own perception, while reverent fear is based on respect and understanding that it will be dangerous to end up on the wrong side of that you respect. 16. Give an example of how wives can display purity and reverence in how they live to their unbelieving husbands - 17. When we fear God what exactly about God do we fear? His wrath and punishment. 18. How do we work out our salvation through fear and trembling? Live every step of your life filtered through God with no exceptions. 19. When stopped by a police officer explain how we should act in keeping with the fear of God. Even if the police officer is wrong we must act in respect to the office of the policeman. 4
Application Scenario one: Explain how you would teach your child how to tell the difference between a true Christian and one just claiming to be a Christian. Scenario Two: Your Christian sister is struggling because life just seems to be unfair to her. She sees both Christians and non-christians making out better than her and her life seems to be nothing but trials and failures. Explain the right way to encourage your sister. Scenario Three: The Company you started working for just hired a new manager for your department. The new manger doesn t seem to know what he is doing and some of the things he instructs you to do is illegal. Being a God-fearing Christian how should you deal with this manager? 5
