Invite Cards have been made available for each of you to use in inviting unchurched friends to be in Sunday School and Refresh on September 10. Please give those out so that we can have as many of your friends in attendance as possible! Pray for me as I continue to preach Revival preparation messages from the life of King Hezekiah. It s a joy to be your pastor! Pastor Kevin Goza Senior Pastor

DISCIPLESHIP/EQUIPPING AND WORSHIP MINISTRY School is back in session and folks are beginning to settle into a rhythm once again. There is no time like the present to calendar our revival! It is Sunday, September 10 Wednesday, September 13 at 7 PM each night! We have distributed INVITE cards and simply ask you to share an invitation with someone who is not churched be it at work, school, in the neighborhood or a family member. Let s make that Sunday, September 10, a great day as we blow it out the top in attendance! We have set different goals and they are as follows! Challenge Goal: 20% increase from Easter 2017-397 Victory Goal: 25% increase from Easter 2017-415 Hallelujah Goal: one more than that - 416+ Glory Goal (set by the teachers/classes) - 420!!!!!! I m expecting a great day in God s House as we strive together for HIGH ATTENDANCE!! Adult Choir and orchestra, I am asking you to be here each night of revival at 6:30 PM to meet with Terry Williams and warm up for the service!! You folks always bring it, and I cannot imagine a successful revival without great praise and worship music as led by the musicians and singers of TBC! The annual Greater Orlando Baptist Association meeting is going to be held at Trinity this year! We have been asked to lead the praise and worship for this event! It is my hope we can get all our choir and orchestra here on Sunday night, October 15. You will be served a meal at 5 PM, and we will lead worship at 6 PM! Our special guest speaker for the evening is Dr. Richard Blackaby, son of Dr. Henry Blackaby, and co-author of the Experiencing God study! Last year we had a record number of attendees at this annual meeting, and we can expect 600 800 here packing out the place for this event. There will special activities and worship going on at our campus at the same time for children and students! It will be the opportunity for TBC to shine as we put forth our best to our sister churches in the greater Orlando area! Big, big news!!! We will be honored to have Alan Taylor here for a special Sunday School/ Small Groups rally and banquet on Thursday night, October 19. Bro. Alan is the former Associate Pastor of Education for the great FBC Woodstock, GA for 20 years where Dr. Johnny Hunt is the Senior Pastor. That great church has led our SBC for years in Sunday school growth! I hope to see every Sunday School/Small Group teacher and leader here that night! It will be a banquet in your honor where the staff has an opportunity to say thanks to our great teachers and leaders of Sunday School! Please make plans now to attend! Pastor Jay Kimbro Associate Pastor Discipleship/Equipping

TRINITY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL Counting Blessings: As the new school year gets underway, I am overwhelmed by God s goodness and faithfulness. Below is just a partial list of His provisions. The Lord has brought 305 students to start the school year. He has blessed us with two classes of K5, 1 st, and 2 nd grade this year. The K5, 3 rd and 4 th grades are each at near capacity. The Lord has brought a remarkably strong and experienced group of teachers together to serve at TCS. All of our teachers from last year returned. Praise the Lord for strength, continuity, & health. We had a great pre-planning week with the teachers that included prayer times, sharing testimonies of God s working, encouragement, fellowship with the whole Trinity Baptist Church ministry staff, and additional training on working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. CHILDHOOD MINISTRIES We had two amazingly strong teachers join our team Raeann Johnson in 4 th grade and Marcia Martin in MS English. Our library is now staffed full time by Jean Nichols. This will allow us to expand our library services and better serve and challenge our students. The MS electives have started strong Chorus led by Mrs. Lunneen, Jazz Band led by Edie Bentley, and PE led by Coach Hardig. The ECE Playground project should be nearing completion as this article is published. At this moment, all permits have been received and the construction plan is being finalized. The unwanted delays have been a great opportunity to allow our students to see this project take place. CONTINUED ON PAGE 4... We are thrilled to welcome Debbie Jones to Trinity as our new Childhood Ministries Director. Debbie comes to TBC with lots of childhood ministry experience. We look forward to what God has in store for our preschool and elementary children under her leadership. A great big thanks to those who have been working in the children s areas during this transition. Music and Missions is up and running each Wednesday night. Kidz Choir is from 6 7 PM, and Kids in Action is from 7 8 PM. Come on out, kids, and have an amazing time together making music and learning how to serve our community. We meet in Building A. Each Sunday morning at 9 am is a great time of fun with children s Bible study. Nursery through 5 th graders meet to learn about Jesus and God s love for them. Kidz Worship is at 10:15 AM. This is a time of singing and learning in a large group setting all about how God provides for us and our relationship with Him. Check in at the desk in Building A each Sunday morning. Mark your calendars now for Trunk n Treat on October 28 from 4 7 PM. This is always a wonderful time of family fellowship. Looking forward to seeing you this week!

Trinity Christian School continued. The Girls Volleyball team is beginning its inaugural season. Under Coach Hardig s direction, a great group of parents and teachers are coaching our teams and mentoring our students. The Lord continues to provide additional educational technologies for our classrooms. New mounted projectors, Mimio Interactive white board systems, and document cameras. Some students are piloting the use of E- textbooks for 7 th and 8 th grade Science and History. The organizational framework for Trinity Christian High School is underway. We are looking forward to God s provision for a high quality, traditional, Christian high school to serve students and families of the Northwest side of Orlando. The Mission of TCS Trinity Christian School exists to glorify God by leading children to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, modeling and instilling Christ-like character, imparting Biblical truths, providing challenging educational instruction and encouraging students to become Christian leaders with servant's hearts for future generations. Please keep TCS in your prayers. Shawn Weeks Head Administrator You will love what God is doing at Trinity Christian School! SENIOR ADULT MINISTRY Senior adults are excited about getting back into the routine after summer. Our monthly covered dish supper will continue on the fourth Monday of each month with few exceptions.. Remember, due to Thanksgiving falling on the fourth Thursday of November and school being out that week, our Senior Adult Thanksgiving Feast will be Monday, November 13. So mark your calendars and stayed tuned for more details. The walking and exercise class for Seniors continues this fall every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please note the time change due to the Trinity Christian School schedule. We meet in the LCLC at 11:10 to walk around the gym at your own pace for 30 minutes. Plan to join us as we keep moving! MEN S MINISTRY Our Men s Ministry is studying the videodriven series 33 the series as we look deeply at what exactly it means to be a real man. Our studies begin each Wednesday at 6 PM in Room A213. Come and join the discussion as we look at authentic manhood from a Biblical perspective. The men of Trinity Baptist Church are involved in many areas and ministries of service. One of our main ministries is prayer. With that in mind, all men are invited to join us at Perkin s Restaurant on North 441 in Apopka on Fridays at 7 AM. We enjoy breakfast, a brief devotional, prayer and fellowship. Saturday evenings, if you are close to the Worship Center at 7 PM, men will gather to pray for the following day s activities and other concerns. Finally, we gather at the alter just prior to Sunday morning s worship service to pray specifically for the service and the speaker. Come and join us as we pray for our church. Pastor Fred Touchton

Thank you for all of the school supplies for our kids at Carlile Elementary! What a blessing you are! We received them yesterday. We have a lot of children in the school where we mentor the kids who come from single parent homes or homes where grandparents are raising them and they can t afford the pencils and crayons that they need. The teachers are buying what the kids need so you are not only helping the kids, you are helping teachers & staff. You are making a difference to children that we are trying to help and show them the love of Jesus! Thank you all, and I pray that you too will have a great school year! Blessings, Kathy and David Britton (Christmas in August VBS Donation) STUDENT MINISTRY Ready Set Charge!!!!...into the new school year. It is hard to believe that we have sprinted through the summer, and a new school year is upon us. We have had a jam packed exciting summer. We pray that our students have grown closer and stronger in their own personal relationship with Jesus and one another so that they will be better prepared to share the love of Jesus with others on their school campus this year. Please join us in prayer, or at your flag pole on September 27 for See you at the Pole a national day of prayer where students gather around their school flagpole and pray before school starts that day. This years theme is FIX Our Eyes. Hebrews 12:1-2 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. On October 11 we will have our pumpkins arriving at 5pm. Please make plans to be here and ready to assist us in unloading and setting up our patch. It will be great fun!
