January 26 th, 2015 Page-2 COMMUNICATIONS: President Hayes states, Councilwoman Young approached me; she felt we needed to close out the month that Dr. Martin Luther King was born. She arranged and invited some very beautiful young ladies from the Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church (Praise Dance Team) to perform their dance. They are under the Leadership of Kianna Anderson and Channin Seldon and the Pastor is Rev. Lonnie E. Anderson. President Hayes states, at this time we have a special guest that we would like to bring forward. Would he please come to the microphone and give his name and address. Senior Airman Corey Summers 2617 Rockford Lane Kokomo, Ind. states, I want to take this time to thank the Kokomo Common Council for giving me this opportunity to make these presentations tonight. I would like to ask the Mayor Greg Goodnight to come up here. Obviously Mr. Mayor in the Military we hold two things God, and our Country. On behalf of myself and the 9 th expeditionary bomb squad this Flag was flown on board a B1 Bomber in support of operation inherit resolve on the 11 th of January 2015 in Honor of Mayor Greg Goodnight. Mayor Greg Goodnight states, thank you very much for this gift and for your service. This is more than I thought. I am speechless. Senior Airman Corey Summers states, I would like Mr. Wyant to come up. Once again my God and Country are what we hold dear to our heart. I would like to present this same certificate, same date, and in Honor of the Kokomo Common Council. Councilman Mike Wyant states, thank you. I will cherish this. Thank you for serving.

January 26 th, 2015 Page-3 Cont. Communications. Senior Airman Corey Summers states, last but certainly not least obviously there is a special person that I show favoritism for. I would like to ask by bother Kevin Summers to come up. On behalf of myself for the support and everything that you help me through and the family and my fiancée and the rest of my family back home. Things back home you worry about the most. Obviously it is all the family that goes through the most. Us as Military we have a mission that we obviously signed up for that we do with great pride; but the family at home should get most of the credit; because they re the ones that deal with the most. Thank you for doing everything you do. Thank you once again, glad to be home. President Hayes states, it was an honor and a pleasure. That was one of the best phone calls I got last night when Kevin told me all about it and especially the surprise to Cory s father. God Bless You, you have a wonderful son, and Kevin is ok too. Councilman Summers states, I want to thank this Council; for all the support that we continue to have in our Prayers for all who is serving. I also want to recognize an individual that does a lot for the Military personal Jerry Paul and his group and the Veterans of this Community my hats are off to you. We want to thank you. There were no committee reports given at this regular meeting.
