Love In Action International Ministries Love In Action is a registered non-profit in the United States, with our headquarters in Dothan, Alabama. We help the homeless and less fortunate in Dothan, as well as those living in extreme poverty, including orphans, in the Philippines, Myanmar, India, Pakistan, China, and Haiti. We give hope to the hopeless. Jesus tells us in Matthew 28:18-20, And Jesus came and said to them, All authority in Heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. And in Acts 1:8, Jesus says, But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. Dothan is our Jerusalem, so we are His witnesses in our hometown, and we go to other countries in obedience to His command to be His witnesses and make disciples throughout the world. God also tells us throughout the Bible to take care of the poor. Therefore, our mission is to reach out to the least of these as Jesus says in Matthew 25: 35-40. Those acts of compassion include the following: Helping the homeless in Dothan with food, showers, hygiene items, clothing, and laundry services Providing a weekly health clinic for the homeless; people living in group homes, such as abused women from the House of Ruth; and men and women from the Houston County Work Release Program Providing clothes, food and hygiene items for the poor in Dothan Bible studies Discipleship training Providing food for the hungry/malnourished in Third World nations, with a strong focus on children, orphans Hope Through Education Building schools, providing scholarships and school supplies for impoverished children to attend school in Philippines, Pakistan and Haiti. Schools are also used as churches. Supporting indigenous pastors in Philippines, Myanmar, India, and Pakistan Planting house churches and building churches in Philippines and Myanmar Providing Bibles and other discipleship materials such as Bible study guides in Philippines, Myanmar, Pakistan, India, China and Haiti. x Love In Action International Ministries 3

Helping the homeless in Dothan: There are more than 400 homeless people in Dothan. Love In Action helps the homeless come off the streets to live productive lives. Some are very involved in the ministry today. We show love to the homeless and let them know they are of great value. We provide a shower and laundry services for the homeless. The homeless can receive free clothing, food and hygiene items at the ministry center, as well as free health, dental, eye and foot care. We provide hot meals during the week for the homeless. We also provide information on jobs, and provide transportation to job interviews, doctor appointments, social security office, and more. We provide discipleship training to teach them the Word of God and how to apply it in their own lives and how to teach others. International Ministries: God has opened doors for us in the Philippines, Myanmar, Pakistan, India, China, and Haiti. Financially support indigenous pastors/missionaries Build churches/start home churches Provide Bibles and discipleship material Provide food for the impoverished/malnourished, with a strong focus on children. Hope Through Education - Build small schools, provide scholarships for children to attend school, provide school supplies. Schools are also used as churches. Provide water filtration systems for fresh, clean, safe drinking water Financial Support Love In Action is totally supported by financial donations from individuals, churches and businesses. Our prayer is for more people, churches and businesses to support us financially. Through an increase in donations, we could renovate the ministry center, and purchase the needed materials to teach more discipleship, life skills and job skills classes, as well as purchase the needed computers. We will also seek more local partnerships with other ministries/organizations who thrive in these areas and fill in the gaps they miss. Increased donations for our international missions will help us fulfill the Great Commission. We have open doors, especially in Asia. We just need the finances to go through them. How, then, can they call on the One they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news! Romans 10:14-15 Why donate?
