Couples can purchase adjacent plots for themselves as well as other family members. Allocation of plots is reviewed by Eretz HaChaim and the rabbinic leadership of a reserved section. Plots suitable for Kohanim near the reserved section which allow relatives to visit Interest free payment plans available An official certificate bearing the name designated by the purchaser is issued by Eretz HaChaim once the plot has been paid in full. TIME OF NEED 24 hour phone line provides immediate assistance with the utmost sensitivity and respect. Eretz HaChaim works with local Jewish chapels and Chevra Kadisha burial societies around the world. They are given the necessary guidance, paperwork, and permits to ensure all arrangements regarding Eretz HaChaim are dealt with promptly and smoothly. In the event that a burial is for someone living in Israel, the Eretz HaChaim Chevra Kadisha handles all necessary arrangements and provides full funeral & burial services including tahara. BURIAL The Eretz HaChaim Chevra Kadisha arranges all burial services, including the participation of a minyan at the graveside, and the opening and closing of the grave, with the utmost sensitivity and respect. A newly renovated Family Room is available for pre service gathering. It can also be used for shiva observance for those family members who schedule a same day return flight. A dignified Jerusalem stone chapel is available for the burial service. ONLINE BROADCAST & RECORDING OF SERVICE Eretz HaChaim offers real time video streaming of the chapel service and hespeidim (eulogies) so that family and friends can watch and hear these from abroad. The broadcast is arranged through the Eretz HaChaim website, to which those wishing to view the service are given an access code. Families wishing to utilize this service can make arrangements with the office. A recording of the service is made available to the family. MATZEIVOS / MONUMENTS Eretz HaChaim provides full matzeiva, monument, services All monuments purchased through Eretz HaChaim include guaranteed perpetual care and repair Many options available An Eretz HaChaim rabbi is available to review and provide suggested nusach (text) and other essential guidance Eretz HaChaim arranges for monument unveiling and a minyan, if needed YAHRZEITS, VISITS, & OTHER NEEDS The Eretz HaChaim Bais Midrash with its full time kollel provides an opportunity for family members to schedule a minyan and the recital of Tehillim / hazkara on the day of a yahrzeit or any other special occasion If family members cannot be present, a photograph and video of the minyan at the graveside can be sent to family abroad Cab service can be arranged for pickup of visitors from the airport or Jerusalem at special rates that include a wait at the cemetery ERETZ HACHAIM BAIS MIDRASH The Eretz HaChaim Kollel, located in the Bais Midrash alongside the chapel, is made up of 20 25 men who study advanced Talmud and Shulchan Aruch throughout the week.
