Janet Gingerich COMMUNITY HYMN SING Next Sunday A community hymn sing is planned for Sunday, March 29th at 6 p.m. at Sunnyside Mennonite Church. This is a great opportunity to gather with other Mennonites and fellow Christians in our community to sing hymns. A carry-in finger food fellowship will be held after the hymn sing. Please bring something to share. MOPS Haystack Supper Saturday HOPE FOR NICARAGUA April 12th The Mothers of Preschoolers group (MOPS) that meets at AMC will have a Haystack Supper this Saturday, March 28th from 5-7:30 p.m. at the community building. Plan to go and help our church support this ministry that encourages mothers of young children in our community! Hope for Nicaragua, an appreciation evening will be held at AMC on Sunday, April 12th at 6 p.m. Join us to hear from Kim Kauffman and others who traveled to Nicaragua recently about how God is moving in that country. More information is posted on the C.L. board. AMC Youth Beat Today - March 22nd We will be leading the service at the Arthur Home. Plan to be at church at 9:20! KEEPING UP WITH AMC The April fellowship meal has been moved to the 12th because of Easter. We will also have a baby shower for Austin Kauffman on that date. Please see Nadine or take them out to the shop at your convenience. The Arthur Ministerial Association is holding a Community Good Friday service here at AMC from 12:00 to 1:00 on April 3rd. The Easter Sunrise service will be held at 6:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church. We hope that you will join these community services during this very important week of our Christian faith. The Legacy fellowship group will be bowling in Champaign this Friday, March 27th. Bring the kids and meet at the church at 6:30 p.m. to carpool or take the church van. We plan to stop at Culver s afterward. The Pathfinders fellowship group will meet at the MOPS Haystack supper on Saturday, March 28th at 5:30 p.m. After supper the group will meet at the youth house for games and finger foods. Discipling Growing in our Relationship with Jesus EASTER BREAKFAST Sign up to Help the Youth EASTER FLOWERS Sign Up The AMC Youth Group will be hosting an Easter breakfast again this year on April 5th from 8-9:15 a.m. They would like to ask for your help in providing breakfast casseroles and other items for the breakfast. Please see the Community Life board and sign up to help provide an item or two. This will be a fundraiser to help with the $700 they still need for their convention trip this summer. Let s be generous and support our youth! This year we will be ordering lilies, tulips and hyacinths to adorn the sanctuary for Easter. You can sign up on the Community Life board and you are welcome to dedicate your flowers in memory of a loved one. You can select a flower to take home after the worship celebration on Easter morning. Please put your payment in the Secretary s mailbox. Flowers are $12 each. This is a house that AMC and Sunnyside will be building for a family that lost theirs in a tornado. AMC is trying to raise $10,000 towards this Mennonite Disaster Service project. An AMC Easter Choir has formed to sing at the Community Easter Sunrise Service and at our Easter morning service. If you are interested come and join us.
