Ties that bind us to the Country and The World WE ARE THE WORLD We all are a part of the human race. Love, friendship, religion is what binds us together. We shouldn t have enemies because we all are part of the big human family. The world is not mine or yours, it s ours. We should share borders and do live peacefully, because we are one big family. -Ira Gupta IV B OUR ROOTS, OUR FAMILIES We re all close to each other, In one way or another, We have common bonds that we share, Whether we are dark or fair. WE ARE THE WORLD I ve travelled all the world, And learnt this lovely thing, That everyone is similar, In many different things. Our religion may not be the same, There s happiness in our hearts, There is loyalty towards people, Who come from very far. I love the world a lot, For it s my only home, The human race is bound by, The feeling of love and hope. Friendship is the feeling, That makes the world all one, And these are the things that bind us, Under the worldly Sun. -Vrinda Das IV B There are some ties that bind us to the rest of the world, even though we live very far apart from each other. Since we are all part of the human race, we are bound by several ties like love, animals, food, similar clothing etc. The human race shares all these bonds. The human race is just one big family. We may be dark skinned or light skinned, but our heart is just the same, sometimes filled with sadness and sometimes with happiness, for the human race is one big family. The human race is complete with everyone in it, may they be rich or poor. -Nishkka Thakkar IV B There are many things on Earth, That Mother Nature has given birth, We all belong to the human race, Though we come from another place. -Stuti Daga IV B We all are part of the human race and it is love, religion, emotions and feelings that bind us together. Whether we live in Africa, America, India or Sri Lanka, it doesn t really matter. We all are one big human family. It s OUR world; not mine or yours. Aakash Doshi IV B
