Your Angels Are Waiting! Angels have no philosophy but love. Terri Guillemets Angels are wonderful beings to have around you. When you know the angels are there, when you feel them and hear them and know they are guiding you and answering your prayers, you feel supported and ready to take on anything because you know they have your back. Even though we might feel this, there are many things about angels that we don t know or understand. It s so important to understand that anything we know about the angels is known because we experienced it. No matter where you get your information, whether from me or one of the well known experts in angels, everything we know about angels comes from our experiences with them directly. Everyone will experience them a little Your Guardian Angel / i

differently. Some things will be the same for everything because of the connection we all share in the collective spiritual consciousness, but the things that matter most {specific guidance, etc} will come to us as part of our individual angelic experiences. That s what this ekit is all about, helping you have an angelic experience that will change your life. It might change in a really big experience that happens like a massive BOOM to your soul, or it might be small, subtle shifts over a period of time. Everyone is different! The keys to truly experiencing the angels are: ~ Coming into it with an open mind + heart ~ ~ Being ready to experience whatever happens ~ ~ Letting go of expectations ~ This ebook is meant to give you a little more information and background before the main event, the guided meditation, which will help you meet and work with your guardian angel. If you ve never worked with angels before, if you don t know anything about guardian angels, and if you re new to guided meditations you ll definitely want to read through this ebook before using the meditation. about angels and working with them that we need to get straight first before setting out into the angelic realms to meet our guardian angel. In the first chapter we re going to hit all the important key points about who the angels are, how we can work with them, and what tips and tricks there are to successfully connecting to the angelic realm. In the second chapter we get right into learning about guardian angels and your astral temple, which is another key component to your guided meditation. In the third chapter we re going to go over the meditation itself. There are several techniques I bring into this meditation that you may be unfamiliar with and I want to make sure you know what to expect before actually using it. In the extras section you ll find some exercises to help you work more with your angelic helpers and how to deepen your bonds with them. Chapter 1 Hello, Angels! Have you ever felt a hand on your shoulder, heard your name whispered as you woke up in the morning, or got the sense that someone was trying to guide you to make a specific decision over and over? Your angels are calling!

Who are the angels? The very first thing I hear from a lot of people who are new to angels is Aren t angels a Christian thing? It s unfortunate that this misconception about the angels keeps otherwise openminded spiritual people from ever getting to know the great healing and wonderful relationships that the angels can give us. The angels are not Christian. The angels do not belong to any specific spiritual tradition and are open to working with anyone of any spiritual path who are seeking to know them. There are a few angels mentioned in the Christian Bible, but there are less than 5 ever mentioned and only two are specifically named, Archangel Michael and the angel Gabriel. All the other archangels that we know {did you know there are over 15 of them!} are a combination of angels and beings from different traditions and texts. In the Christian Bible there is only one archangel because the word archangel means head angel. Your Guardian Angel / 6

The thing to keep in mind: the angels don t belong to any specific religion. The angels are non-denominational. They are beings of pure light created out of love by God/ Source to act helpers and messengers of God s love. In this ebook we re going to focus on your guardian angel but let s look at angels in general for a moment. There are many different kinds of angels. The word angel comes from the Greek angelos which means messenger. Angels are beings who have never been incarnated as humans. Despite as much as we might want to believe that our loved ones become angels when they pass into spirit, they do not. Your ancestors are not guardian angels or any other kind of angel watching over you. If anything you may have spirit guides who are ancestors, whether you knew them in life or not. No spirit that has incarnated becomes an angel after transitioning into spirit. Angels are pure light and love without ego or attachments. Incarnated beings have the opportunity to transition into one of two possible roles in the spirit world depending on a few factors when they transition. Spirit Guides - This is a role that many spirits take on when they move into the spirit Hello, Angels! / 7

world. In this capacity they have the opportunity to help people they have left behind as well as to complete lessons or tasks that their spirit needs to accomplish by guided others. Spirit Guides don t always guide personal friends and family from their human lives, but they can. Seeking out your Spirit Guide is a bit of a different process but many of the basic principles you ll learn here with your guardian angel can apply there too. Ascended Masters - This is a very special spiritual position that only a small portion of spirits attain. They are people who truly rose above all human limitations, transcended their egos, and brought love, peace, and healing to the earth. They are people who became self-realized. This is a process where one s awareness shifts so they see no division between themselves and God, coming to know that they are God since we are all part of the One Source. By accepting this, and going through a process of releasing their ego, they become illuminated, ascended beings. Some of these Masters include Buddha, St. Germain, Jesus, and Pramahansa Yogananda. Connecting to your loved ones on the other side is something we do through the process of mediumship and ancestor honoring. This is something we do in the Advanced Level course for Talk To Your Angels and isn t something we ll be doing here,but your Hello, Angels! / 8

guardian angel can connect you to your loved ones if you ask for their help. All angels are non-denominational, including your guardian angel, and everyone has angels with them whether they believe in them or not. The advantage of believing in them is you open up the gateway to being able to communicate with them and work with them rather than having them gently whispering to you from the sidelines where they likely aren t being heard. You become actual spiritual partners. The angels are with us to protect us and give us love. This can happen with by them guiding us to or away from making certain decisions, getting into certain relationships, or journeying down certain paths in life. Even though the angels are there to guide us and offer us this help, they are bound by two very important rules: The angels can only help if you ask for help. The angels cannot interfere with our free will. This means that the angels, including your guardian angel, can only intervene for you when you ask and they can only suggest things for you. The decision on how to follow their advice and the responsibility of taking action in your life is all on you, babe! Hello, Angels! / 9

Tips for Connecting to the Angels Feeling blocked or like you can t seem to connect to the angels is not unusual, especially if you re new to working with the them. These tips should help with this a bit. It can all be boiled down to these three things: Trust ~ Believe ~ Be Confident The biggest block to angel communication is you! We are our own worst enemies and critics. Our ego works hard to hold us back, telling us that we can t do something in order to keep us from experiences of defeat. You may very well hear yourself saying I could never talk to spirits and angels! That s impossible! Why do we say this to ourselves? Because telling ourselves we can t do something will usually keep us from trying which keeps us from failing. The unfortunate part is that this also can be the thing that keeps you from succeeding too. You never know until you try! So the number one thing that you need to do is be Hello, Angels! / 10

open-minded while working with the guided meditation and the additional exercises in this ebook. Do the meditation more than once and push that negative ego voice aside. As you prove to yourself that you can talk to your angels, you ll begin to hear that negative voice less and less because the proof of your abilities will quite it down. Believe in your angels! This might seem like a no-brainer, but a lot of people approach their angels hoping to have an experience with them but they don t have a solid belief in them. People will turn to angels because it s something they haven t tried before or it seems like a last resort spiritually, not because they actually have a strong belief in them or connection to them. The angels aren t going to be able to get through to you and help you when you only half believe what you re doing. You can t call on them with a request for help and then in the back of your mind think this is never going to do anything for me. You have to believe that your angels are there, they re watching you, and they re hearing your call for help when you send it out and they are working on your behalf. I can t stress this enough, you have to let the angels do their thing on their own! This is Hello, Angels! / 11

where a lot of people lose faith in the angles; they ask for help and put some kind of condition on it which only makes it harder for the angels to do anything. If you re going to ask the angels to help you find a new love, for instance, don t dictate what they should look like, how much money they have, or what they do for a living. Just ask that they be the right person for your highest and best who you ll resonate with for the long haul. The angels will know what to do from there and then you just have to believe they re on the job. Have confidence in what you re doing. Confidence working with angels, or any spiritual entities, comes as a result of trust, belief, and practice. If you think you re making things up in your head, that s fine! It will certainly feel like that for you but the experience is still very real. Your imagination is an integral part of your spiritual experiences. It helps to make spirit communication feel real because our minds don t have the ability to comprehend the abstract nature of what s happening on an energetic or spiritual level. It s also really important not to try too hard. If you feel like you re forcing Hello, Angels! / 12

experiences, then you need to stop and take some time away and regroup. When you force experiences, pushing to make connections to your angels, you actually end up doing more harm than good. This often creates a block because you re creating expectations in your mind of how you should hear, see, sense, and feel your angels, which puts expectations on how they ll connect with you. Then when things don t work out that way you start to doubt what you re doing and soon your ego has you believing this is all a load of crap and you throw in the towel. Above all else keep a positive outlook. Remember, like attracts like. If you keep telling yourself I can t hear my angels. I m never going to hear them, you re only building up a wall between you and spirit. Check your lifestyle. The level of stress you have in your life, the amount of exercise and sunlight you get, and especially the kinds of foods and chemicals you take into your body have a big impact on your personal energy vibration. The angels vibrate at a higher rate than we do. In order to hear or connect to our angels, including our guardian angel, we need to Hello, Angels! / 13

be able to raise our vibration to get closer to theirs. All of these things play a factor. If you find that you re having a really hard time connecting with your guardian angel, especially outside of the guided meditation experience, make sure that along with the ideas of trust, believe, and be confident, that you re looking for how you can lower stress, increase the energy flow in your life, and reduce of eliminate energy draining foods, drinks, and chemicals from your diet {for many people this means cutting out meat, dairy, alcohol, caffeine, and any drugs or other substances, including nicotine, for at least a short period of time to do spiritual work}. Develop a daily practice. Once you have a connection to your guardian angel you can develop it and make it easier to work with by having a regular daily spiritual practice that you are able to maintain. This means making time daily for meditation, reflection, and spiritual alignment. Try to start with creating a 5-10 minute practice incorporating meditation, prayer, gratitude practice, and spirit-centered journaling and increasing it as you go. Pay attention to your dreams as well as impressions from meditation. In the Beginners Level of Talk To Your Angels we work on developing a practice you can actually keep! Hello, Angels! / 14

Chapter 2 Guardian Angels Out of all the angel choirs and levels of angels in the angelic world, the ones that we are able to connect with the easiest are the Guardian Angels. No matter what you believe about angels, you have a guardian angel with you right now!

Your Guardian Angel Aside from archangels, guardian angels are the celestial beings that humans have the most contact with. The guardian angels have the lowest vibrations of all the angels which makes them closest to us vibrationally. That means we can connect to them the easiest. The job of your guardian angel is to watch over and protect you, guiding you in choices in your life that involve not only your well-being but your life purpose. When we re born we receive two guardian angels at birth. One functions as an extrovert and the other as an introvert. You ll likely ever only be aware of one of these angels but know that they are both there working together for you. Our extroverted angel is the one who communicates with us when we reach out to talk with our guardian angel. This is the angel who will gently guide you in your choices that align with your higher self and encourage you to live up to your highest potential. This is also the angel you ll encounter in the guided meditation. Your Guardian Angel / 16

Our introverted angel is a bit shy and has more of a quiet, backseat role as a spiritual comforter. This angel sends you love and healing when you are grieving, depressed, or going through other painful periods of your life. This angel calms you when you re nervous or anxious and helps soothe you when you are disappointed or feeling as though you ve lost your way. While your introverted angel is doing all this healing and comforting your extroverted angel will be there when you reach out looking for guidance with the situation itself. Together they are working to heal, protect, and guide you to where you need to be. We can have more guardian angels than just these two, but I ve found two to be the norm. In my experience people who are in particularly dangerous lines of work or who take a lot of risks that put them in harms way tend to have a team of guardian angels watching over them. The average person doesn t need that much protection but someone who works as a police officer or even someone involved with extreme sports does. Remember that your guardian angel has never incarnated in human form and are Guardian Angels / 17

part of the divine energy created by God for the purpose of guiding and protecting you. It doesn t matter how many angels you have, you ll always have one guardian angel that will be there to connect with you {at your will, of course} and communicate all the guardian angel messages to you. What Your Angel Looks Like We have a bit of an expectation as to what our angels are going to look like. We anticipate things like wings and a halo, some people expect angels to even have a specific gender or even a specific androgynous look. In my experience with angels, as well as other spiritual beings, they will come to you in a form that you are open to accepting. Your angels don t want to frighten you and they want to be able to connect with you in a way you ll be comfortable with. The angels are beings of pure light and their true form has been described as frightening by people who have seen them in this way. You may feel that you re making up their appearance in your mind, but trust that they are projecting themselves to you in the way you ll be open to. Guardian Angels / 18

Angels do have energies that make them specifically male or female and you will get a sense of what gender your angel may be when you are with them, but I ve also found that they can shift and change their appearance when they need to. Wings - this is the biggest thing people look for when it comes to angels because it s what we have come to expect. There is a little question about the validity of the winged angel image we ve all come to know. I ve heard some people say that the wings are the way artists who had seen angels visually represented what was actually the aura of the angel they encountered. What I have come to know about angel wings is that they are very real but they aren t used for flying around but for enfolding us when we are in need of their healing energy. Their wings act as a conduit for their energy; gentle, light, and soft to wrap around us and transfer their energy into our auric field. In healing meditation with your guardian angel you ll likely have this experience more than once, and outside of meditation you may call on your guardian or one of the archangels, like Michael for protection or Raphael for healing, and have the experience Guardian Angels / 19

of feeling yourself being wrapped in a warm blanket of their light. This is the angel s wings at work! How Your Guardian Angel Helps You The main purpose of your guardian angel is to guard you! Their job is to protect you, keep you safe, and keep you guided on a path aligned to your life purpose. This is different than what your spirit guide might do for you, which is more along the lines of helping to guide you through daily life. Your guardian angel is more focused on helping you on a bigger, spiritual scale where your spirit guide helps you more of the day-to-day, material things. This doesn t mean you can t come to your guardian angel for help with guidance on your career, money, or relationships, but you ll find that there are other guides and allies in the spirit world more equipped for those jobs. Some of the things that you will want to go to your angels for including getting clarity on your life purpose and mission, guidance on life lessons and past lives, and healing in all forms {physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual}. Chapter 3 Meditation Meditation Time Before you dive into the meditation, let s go over what you ll experience. I ll also share some of my favorite meditation tips and tricks to help you get the most of the experience.

Your Astral Temple In the meditation you re going to prepare to meet your guardian angel by creating a sacred space on the astral plane, but it is also created within yourself. Truly you carry the temple within you and unfold it or unwrap it, as it were, when in the astral plane. Your astral temple is a structure created by your energy and intention to be a safe place where you can meet your angels, guides, and ancestors, as well as work magic and healing. Once you ve created the temple the first time, each time you go into the astral you project the image of the temple from your imagination which makes it very real on the astral. When creating their temple some people create something in the physical world to act as a sort of trigger or touchstone to help them access their temple quickly. This is something that s a little beyond what we re doing here, but if you wish to do something like this I d recommend using a quartz crystal point that you can program to store the energy, which you can then easily access when needed. does the work with the temple on its own. Anything you do in your astral temple will ripple out into the physical world. This makes creating, maintaining, and using an astral temple ideal for people who want to do magic, healing, and other esoteric work but have issues doing it in their homes because of differences in beliefs or simply not wanting other s know what they re doing. It s a power, wonderful, and very special space all your own. You will be guided through the steps of creating your astral temple in the first half of the meditation. There are only a few steps to creating your temple: Visualize the outside of the structure so it looks however you d like it to look. Know that what it looks on the outside doesn t have to dictate what it will look like inside. This means you can have an unassuming log cabin on the outside that opens up to a large classic spiritual temple when you enter it. This is place where time and space have no bearing. {For you Dr. Who fans think of it like the TARDIS.} Once inside you build the interior of the temple. This means the walls, the ceiling, the floor, other levels of your temple and the stairs to get there, and built in elements like Meditation / 23

a fireplace and hearth, shelves in the walls, windows, and so on. Finally you can fill your space with items that you wish to have in constant supply. In my temples I ve made I always create a bottomless magical cupboard. Anything you put in a cupboard like this when you create it, it will always be there when you go to retrieve it. Here you can keep candles, herbs, oils, crystals, tools, and more. Some people worry about their temple being accessible by others who might stumble upon it. Not to worry! Unless someone else is involved in the creation of your temple, which is something that you might do if you re in a working group with others, nobody is going to have access to your temple. Remember, while it is projected on the astral plane it is created by your energy and resides mainly within you and your mind. So unless you give the keys to someone else, nobody else is going to know it exists. Any time you want to use your temple simply go into meditation and follow the same path you take in the guided meditation and then call up the outside of the temple you created through visualizations and any magical words or affirmations used when it was created. Your Guided Meditation Now comes what you ve been waiting for. Your guided meditation to meet your guardian angel! Before you dive into the meditation I want to share a few things about the meditation itself so you know roughly what to expect, but also because there may be a step or two that you will be unfamiliar with. Alpha Countdown The very first phase of the meditation is the alpha countdown, a trance technique designed to help bring you into the alpha brainwave state. This is the level of brain activity where we meditate, have deep visualizations and heightened imagination, and where we have most of our spiritual experiences. This is also where we lucid dream and is the state where we can find ourselves both asleep and awake - a sort of twilight. The method that I use in the meditation is known by some as the Crystal Countdown and is the method I learned from Laurie Cabot, both in her books and when I trained Your Guardian Angel / 25

with her personally. It is a modification of the Silva Mind Control method and has been modified by other spiritual teachers and authors. It is the most effective method I have ever found for getting into that meditation mindset. The process is simple; you ll be guided to visualize a number and color on the screen of your mind. When you close your eyes look up slightly, imagining that you re looking at a movie screen just above your eye-line aligned with the center of your brow. Essentially when you close your eyes you want to use your Third Eye, your inner mind s eye, to look up and see this screen. This is where you ll do all your visualizing during the meditation. Any time you feel like you re getting lost just look up to this screen and visualize your meditation here. As you re guided simply see the number in the color given to you. See it appear on the screen of your mind and then see it fade and give way to the next. You may feel yourself become light-headed or as though you re floating. This is normal. Simply fall into the feeling allowing my voice and the guidance of the meditation to carry you where you need to be. Meditation / 26

At the end of the meditation, after you re guided back from your temple, you ll be guided to count up from alpha level back to beta level, the brainwave state of normal waking consciousness. You wont need to visualize anything this time, simply follow the counting to bring you back to normal awareness. Creating Your Temple In the meditation I guide you in the initial creating of your astral temple. You are welcome to change the appearance if what I guide you with doesn t resonate for you. You ll have the chance to construct the inside and put within it anything that you want to have for later. This is only a small portion of the meditation but an important one. If you don t feel like you ve had the amount of time you really need to fully create your temple at the end of the meditation, no problem! You can come back in meditation on your own at another time and continue to work on it. You can always reach your temple again going through the same path and process as you do in this meditation. Remember you carry your temple within you, so you can Meditation / 27

always get back there by using your focus and intention. Calling Your Guardian Angel Once your temple is settled you ll call on your guardian angel. Simply follow along with the meditation and keep yourself open to whatever comes along. If you start to feel unfocused or aren t sure of what you re seeing or receiving remember two things: Keep your eyes focused on the screen in your might just above the center of your brow, looking with your third eye. Bring yourself back to your intention to meet your guardian angel; you can do this by creating a simple affirmation of intention before you start your meditation like: I set my intention to meet my guardian angel in my astral temple. After You Return Once you return from your meditation be sure to take time to feel fully in your body again before getting up or trying to do anything. Drinking some water and eating something like chocolate can help ground you can help as well. Take time to make notes in a journal about what messages you received from your angel. Meditation / 28

Meditation Tips and Tricks For most people, guided meditation is one of the easiest kinds of meditations to do because their conscious minds are occupied with listening to the instructions and guidance on the recording while still bringing them into a trance state. There can still be some struggles for some, especially those who have trouble meditation in general or anyone that s new to meditation. Here are a few tips to help you! Intention is the key! Always know ahead of time what it is you re going into meditation for and what your purpose for your meditation is. When you re doing a meditation like this one where you re going to meet a spiritual ally, make sure that you have your questions or needs in mind before going. This keeps you from being distracted or getting pulled out of your meditative state while trying to think up what you needed to get help with. Before starting your guided meditation, do some breathing exercises to help let go of stress, anxious energy, and any worries or concerns that might distract you. My favorite exercise is the 4x4 breath. Take a deep breath in for the count of four, hold Your Guardian Angel / 29

for the count of four, release for the count of four, hold for the count of four, and then repeat the cycle. One of my favorite meditation teachers, davidji, teaches this as 16 Seconds to Bliss because in the 16 seconds that you spent doing that you had no other thoughts other than your breath. You re able to let go and relax completely. You can do as many repetitions of this as you need until you feel ready to move on to the meditation. Many people worry that if they have some kind of physical discomfort during meditation they have to ignore it. For some people that s not a problem - an itchy nose or a cramping toe can be ignored - but for a lot of people the more they try to ignore it the harder it is to focus on the meditation. If you get an itch, it s OK to scratch it or if you need to shift in your seat, shift away! Simply keep your eyes closed and do what you need to with as much detachment as possible, keeping your mental focus on the meditation and seeing the shifting or scratching just as more of an automatic physical reaction to what you re feeling without thoughts behind it. In some traditions, like core Shamanism, laying down is a traditional meditation position, but for some people it can be way too easy for them to fall asleep laying Meditation / 30

down. Experiment with different positions like laying down, sitting on the floor, or sitting in a chair. When sitting on the floor you might find sitting slightly elevated with a pillow or cushion beneath you helpful to keep your legs from falling asleep. If you sit in a chair make sure it s a chair where your back is straight up and well supported. Be sure that your feet are able to touch the floor flat as well. Try using something to cover your eyes while meditating to help keep you focused on the darkened, inner world that you re working with. Years ago I found a wonderful product called the Mindfold, a cushioned blindfold that has cutouts in the cushion so you can open your eyes while wearing the blindfold. This is great for people that either find blindfolds uncomfortable or who just want to have their eyes open. You can also use herb filled eye pillows as well. {lavender is great for meditation!} Make a commitment to do smaller, non-guided meditations every day for 5-10 minutes. This will help to make your guided and purposeful meditations easier. A regular meditation practice rather than a sporadic one always gives the best results. Meditation / 31

Your Guardian Angel s Name Get into your meditation mindset and sit quietly for a moment. Say aloud or silently: Guardian Angel, please tell me your name. Sit quietly and let the name come to your mind. Accept whatever name comes to you, don t question it. Make a note of the name in your journal. Next time you wish to make contact with your angel you can use this name to call them. If you get nothing, you may be trying too hard. Relax, release, and try again tomorrow. Don t do the meditation over and over in the same day - this is only going to create more stress and more of a block. Angel Letters You can write letters to your guardian angel when you need guidance but also want to get more clarity on what s happening in your life. Writing it all out works wonders on gaining more focus which in the long run makes asking your angels for help more effective as well as making it easier for you to hear and see their answers in and out of meditation. Write your letter just like you re writing to a close friend that you can tell anything to. Start the letter with Dear Angels, Dear Guardian Angel, or use their name if you were able to get it through the meditation work. Pick one thing that you feel especially concerned about or that you feel you could use guidance with. Tell them all about it and ask them to give you the guidance you need over the next 7 days from when you write the letter. Place the letter somewhere special like on an angel altar, in your meditation space, or under your bed to help draw guidance through your dreams. Be sure to note in your journal any signs or guidance that comes, whether in meditation, dreams, or daily life, that directly answer your letter s request. The Grace Process If you start feeling stuck while trying to connect with your angels, consider working through the G.R.A.C.E. process. In their book Ask Your Angels, Alma Daniel, Timothy Wyllie, and Andrew Ramer share a very process for getting connected to the angels that they call the G.R.A.C.E. process. Extras! / 36

Grounding Releasing Aligning Conversing Enjoying the connection Make sure you re grounded before any work you re going to do with the angels. Release all your mundane worries, fears, concerns, and attachments to outcomes and answers. Align with the angels by doing work to actively raise your vibration to meet with the vibration of your guardian angel. This means doing things like breath work, chakra balancing, or positive affirmations. Converse with them. Share with your angels in conversation your questions and concerns and what you need guidance with. Talk to them like they are your best friend and then just be open to their response. Enjoy the connection with them regardless of the outcome in the moment. Know they are with you, listening and supporting you in your needs with deep love. Extras! / 37
