March 27, 2016 3 Best Wishes at Easter Easter is both the greatest Christian Celebration of the entire year. We take forty days (Lent) to prepare for it. Easter is also a family and extended family event. Each family has special things they do and relatives (maybe friends, also) they go to see! As believers, we have celebration in common and very individually also. It is a rich and joyful day and season. Easter time runs 50 days and covers most of Spring! Please accept the Best Wishes of our Priests, Deacons and staff for a Blessed and Happy Easter Time! A sincere thank you to all faithful parishioners for remembering St. Francis in a generous way in the collection! Our snow birds have, for the most part, not yet returned and so our Easter collection will be low this year! Thank you again and be assured we pray for you! The weekly St. Francis Booster Club winner for 3/14 is Janet Rinker! CONGRATULATIONS! Tickets are $50.00 and are available in the Rectory. Your ticket is entered to win Every Week! 7:30pm to 9:00pm First Saturday devotions at St. Francis @ 11:00am. Join us for Holy Mass, Rosary and brief meditation and Confession. The Rectory, Pastoral Care and Religious Ed. Offices will be closed Monday, April 6th

March 27, 2016 4 Time, Talent & Treasure Fostering Stewardship as a way of life Thanks for Giving First Fruits & Taking a Step!!! (Regular Sunday Offertory) Last Sunday s weekly offering: TBA Sunday Offering for 3/6: $10,067.00 Bulletin Reflection In the second reading today, St. Paul reminds the Colossians that they have been raised with Christ, exhorting them to be intent on the things above rather than on things of earth. We too, have been raised with Christ. Let us rejoice and be glad! Living Stewardship We are grateful this week for all stewards in our parish who, like St. Paul, give witness for the good news of salvation, especially through extending mercy to others. March 27: Easter Sunday Today as we celebrate the feast of Easter we find the challenge of also seeing and believing the resurrection that comes through our own lives of self-sacrifice which brings new life to others. In the month of March, through your gifts, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul was able to help the poor celebrate the joy of Easter, assisting families by providing food, gifts, and money for utility and rent bills. Thank You! PROGRAM COMING SOON!
