Maybe you re not learning of White s on accident. Maybe you are here because the God of the universe wants to meet with you here. And He has something He wants to do in and through you. And if you will say yes to Jesus Christ, He will begin a relationship with you and begin to change you from the inside out.
It is not often you have a chance to make a profound impact on someone s life. At White s, we have that opportunity every day. Josiah White started us on this path. In 1850, he founded a school to help the most deserted of children. Josiah had compassion for these children for he himself was one, having lost his father when he was only four years old. His vision was to transform the lives of struggling children not only by educating them but by nurturing their faith in the Kingdom of God. He believed that his schools would lead many souls to Christ. At White s, we take in young people and families from near and far with wounded hearts and souls. Many of them have experienced trauma, made poor choices or battled conditions over which they have little control. While we offer treatment and therapy to heal their physical and mental wounds, we put as much faith in teaching them about God s unconditional love and compassion for them. IT HAS PLEASED THE LORD TO PROSPER ME IN THE THINGS OF THIS WORLD SO THAT I CAN BEGIN A SCHOOL TO SUPPORT CHILDREN THAT CANNOT PROVIDE FOR THEMSELVES. FOUNDER JOSIAH WHITE
White s is more than a faith-based organization; we are a faith-living organization. Faith is not something that can be compartmentalized in our lives; it is the foundation for everything we do. We help families in crisis, in transition and in need of support through our accredited continuum of programs: Foster Care Community-based Services Residential Services Jr./Sr. High Schools Compass Rose Academy We understand that even in the best of families, things can go wrong. Part of our ministry is to stand in that gap on behalf of families. MY INTENT IS TO PROVIDE A PLACE WHERE RELIGIOUS EDUCATION, UNDER THE BLESSING OF OUR SAVIOR AND REDEEMER (WHO HAS DONE SO MUCH AND ALSO DIED FOR MAN) WOULD BE A BLESSING TO MANY. FOUNDER JOSIAH WHITE

Planting Seeds of Spirituality Our approach to care is based first on the belief that Christ is the ultimate source of love and healing and that true, lasting transformation is found in Him. We accept and love the children and families we serve unconditionally just as Christ loves us. We provide the care, treatment, structure, education and counseling they need to experience healing. The spiritual life program is dedicated to planting spiritual seeds which bring about lasting and eternal change for the Kingdom of God. From our chapel program, to our foster homes, to our residential cottages, to our staff and board meetings, spirituality is a part of our DNA here at White s. It s a part of who we are as an organization and not simply something we do. We Believe Jesus loves unconditionally and with complete forgiveness. Everyone is worthy of Jesus love. God is a healer of brokenness and can radically change lives. For His people, Jesus chooses ordinary people with imperfections. The Bible and Word of God are the truth as written in Psalm 33:4: For the word of the LORD is right and true; He is faithful in all He does.

Your children are the greatest gift God will give to you, and their souls the heaviest responsibility He will place in your hands. Take time with them, teach them to have faith in God. Be a person in whom they can have faith.
