11/5 & 11/6/16 TLC SCHOLARSHIP FUND BRUNCH After worship this Sunday there will be a TLC Scholarship Fund brunch. A free will offering for the scholarship fund will be taken, and the deacons will be providing the food. FIRST COMMUNION CLASS Our first class will meet next Sunday after worship. Please see Pastor Lisa if you still need to sign up your third grader for this class. WELCA PROJECTS The woman of WELCA are in the process of putting together Baby Care Kits. We have 11 completed baby care kits and with your help we would like to complete several more kits by the New Year. Our need is as follows: Lightweight cotton t-shirts, gowns or sleepers (without feet), cloth diapers, hooded sweatshirts, socks, hand towels, or we would take money donations. The kits will be taken to Sioux Falls to be shipped where they are needed. Our next work day will be November 17 th from 10:00-12:00 and bible study will follow from 12:00-2:00. NOISY OFFERING The noisy offering for the month of October went to the Spina Bifida Association, in honor of disabilities awareness month. We collected $155.33. At Lutherans Outdoors annual meeting, a motion passed to acquire 523 feet of shoreline to expand on the property of NeSoDak Bible Camp for $800,000. Our noisy offering for the month of November will go to this land expansion campaign.
COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING WORSHIP This year the worship service will be held on the evening of November 20 th here at Trinity. Time TBA. BANQUET On Dec 3 rd, Trinity and St. James churches will be preparing and serving a meal at the Banquet in Sioux Falls. We are being asked to help with meal preparation, and a few extra hands will also be needed to serve the meal. Please talk to Pastor Lisa asap if you would like to help this year.
