COMING MAY 3 Bread for the World s Offering of Letters Once again we will have an opportunity to make a difference for the one in five children in our country whose families struggle to put food on the table. We can absorb some of the darkness for these children by urging congressional representatives to reauthorize programs such as school lunch subsidies and the Women, Infants, and Children program. Write a letter on Sunday morning, May 3, in the Narthex. We will bless it, put it in the mail, and let our legislators know we care. A handwritten letter is a powerful way to get the attention of our elected representatives and encourage them to respond to our concerns. Visit bread.org/ol/2015 to learn more. SIGN UP FOR SERVICE DAY Final Day to Register Service Day is coming next Saturday, April 25 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. This year we are partnering with Southminster Presbyterian Church and serving 10 organizations. We will have service opportunities for all ages and abilities. Families are welcome!
