2 6,2 Lucknow & District Community Pool The Lucknow & District Community Pool is closed for year. The last day for swimming was on Wednesday, August 31. The pool was busy for most of summer for public swims and both sets of lessons were very successful. Pool Supervisor Brittany Haines along with rest of her staff did a fantastic job this year. I received a number of compliments towards all of pool staff. Rintoul's Pools and Spas were in on Friday, September 9 th to winterize pool. STAFF COMMENTS: For your information purposes, 6.3 Pooi Water Meter The water meter was successfully installed Arena Staff, There were no issues with meter and it worked great for Pool Staff, The meter allows Pool Staff to adjust water levels accurately according to bar loads, STAFF COMMENTS: For your information purposes, 6.4 Electronic Coming Events Sign Brooklin Bulletin installed new electronic coming events sign for front entrance of Arena, The sign looks and public more information on upcoming events. 3 6.7 Zumba Classes The Recreation Department has been approached Hear Barger about possibility of having Zumba classes in multi-purpose room of Lucknow & District Sports Complex. Hear also teaches Zumba classes in Ripley and St. Helen's. Instead of paying an hourly rate for a room rental, Ripley charges her $2.00 per person that attends classes. Hear is wondering about possibility of having same rate at Lucknow & District Sports Complex. We have included a letter from Hear in regards to this matter. 8T AFF COMMENTS: We seek your direction. ACTION: The Board agreed to charge her regular rental rate according to our fees and charges for facility. 6.8 Ice Plant Room Heating Cimco Refrigeration has recommended that heating in Ice Plant room be replaced. The current tube heater in room does not work. Cimco Refrigeration fears that this could affect some of equipment and chemicals in room during winter months. Staff has received a quote to upgrade tube heaters in Ice Plant and Olympia rooms from Cliff's Plumbing & Heating for amount of $ 2,970 plus HST, which in not included in 2011 WUI..Il,..jca.
