FROM FR. JOE It's been too long since I have written an article in our bulletin. Where has this month gone?! That being said I want to thank everyone at St. John's and Cathedral, for helping make this three month closure of the Cathedral, work so smoothly. Everyone at St. John's has been so gracious. Despite being pulled out of our comfort zone the turn out has been great. It has reaffirmed my faith in the strength of the bonds that make us a Cathedral parish and has strengthened my pride in the hospitality of St. John's parish. There were some that worried about how this would all work out. Well, I'm grateful that our best hopes have been surpassed. Let us keep praying for the safety of the workers, and their success, as they work on our diocesan mother church. Let us pray that the restoration of the Cathedral will help us celebrate our 150th year as a diocese in 2018. May it help us as a diocese to implement Bishop's initiative, "Disciples on the Way!" ~In Christ, Fr. Joe PROJECT MERCY If you believe that honoring the dead is an important work of mercy, please feel free to attend any Mass of Resurrection (funeral Mass) for deceased members of our parish. You will be notified of the date and time of a parishioner funeral. If interested in participating in this beautiful ministry please call Mary Ellen at 920-438-7169 or 920-660-2922. PRAYER CORNER Saint Josemaria Escriva encourages us: You don't know how to pray? Put yourself in the presence of God, and as soon as you have said, 'Lord, I don't know how to pray!' you can be sure you have already begun. But sometimes you might wonder if anyone is even listening Be confident God hears you! I love the Lord for He has heard the cry of my appeal; for He turned His ear to me in the day when I called Him. (Ps. 116:2) Don't let fear or doubt keep you from prayer! God loves for you to pray and He listens when you do!

Contact us for more details and to register! Thank you for your patronage & friendship! Don t you worry, we re still here! There have been a number of exciting updates the past few weeks, and we would like to share them with you. The Diocese of Green Bay has moved to a regional young adult ministry model, which means a grassroots effort to reach out, connect with, and provide opportunities for young adults all across our 16 counties. Our group was basically already doing this for the Green Bay region, and we were primed to help with the launch and move into this role. We are grateful for all those at the Cathedral and St. John s who have supported us, prayed for us, and helped us to grow these past two and a half years. And we are ready for the next step! St. Francis Xavier Cathedral & St. John the Evangelist Young Adults is now Titletown Catholic! We ll be collaborating with different parishes in the Green Bay area to host young adult events, so please still keep us in mind if you know any young adults who are looking for Christian community! It's still the same awesome group, with additional resources to use, a budget to work with, and support that will allow us to reach more young adults in our area. So that means we can really dig in and get things going. Have an idea that you didn't think was feasible before? Want to do a study that you thought was out of our young adult price range? Have a service idea that needs more supplies than usual? Collaborate with friends, submit your idea, and we'll take a crack at it. I am grateful for all the young adults who have shown up for each other, supported one another, and have made an effort to invest in each other s lives; you are making the love and friendship of Jesus alive and well in Titletown, Wisconsin. Let's keep growing, learning, and living, all for His glory. ~Sarah Bradford, Green Bay Regional Young Adult Ministry Coordinator Join our Flocknote to receive email updates and text alerts about upcoming events: www.flocknote.com/ TitletownCatholic or text GB Catholic to 84576.
