1 Iceland - Guðrún Kristín Magnúsdóttir - Óðsmál research project (since 1990) The unknown core and essence of the Viking Faith -- our forefathers ancient science of consciousness -- Did the true ancient Heathenry influence the mind-set of the Vikings? Once we understand the true profundity contained in the allegory and symbolic language of Heathenry, we might imagine the impact of that on the Viking-age Heathens. Was the core and essence of Heathenry lost during the dark ages? Might it, all the same, have shone through in the mind-set of the Vikings? Did the ancient wisdom of the North - even if already distorted(?) - influence the mind-set of the Vikings? Influence their valour, and steer their prudence? Was Heathen Science of Life deliberately suffocated by the þeokrasi (theocracy) from Rome? Did they succeed in doing so, or not? After all, we know Hel (Helia) only to be a peaceful coffee-break between lifespans, and Urður Verðandi Skuld the law of karma, a infallible Natural Law. The Heathen man is all-responsible. There is no way of cheating. No use praying. There is no vicious/merciful He up there, there are no capricious norns of fate down there. De profundis te clamavi, is, accordingly, a mistake. We call someone who is far away. If we know the profundity, we do not call. We are it. We dive into our inner Ægir for almighty power. It might be of great interest to all of us to understand the ancient þeosofi (theosophy) and profound spirituality of pure Heathenry. Also to compare the utter and fundamental difference between our ancient þeosofí and the imported þeokrasis. We should know that the world is inside. World is veröld, ver-öld, man s lifespan. We make it, every one for himself in his very brain. Also interesting to understand why the new Roman religion came in handy for some (former) polyþeists (by converting to it), but was sincerely rejected by other polyþeistic men as a cunning power-tool only. Why did kings convert? What was the benefit thereof? Why were some Heathens so utterly

2 stubborn and averse to the imported system? What benefits did some Heathens see in smoothly converting? Was it sincere, or only a (life-saving) concealment? Heathenry is completely useless as a tool to dominate others. Politically seen, it is worthless. On the contrary, monoþeism (mono-theism) is tailored for dominance. Some kings had the new god named God above them, other kings were even smarter and were above the new god named God. We can also consider how kings ruled that god named God, as He came in handy (as they saw it) as a tool for dominance. Something interesting: The new god named God * could be a mere invention, or * an existing god of a panþeon used as the only true one, and, accordingly, all other gods of the panþeon not allowed / i.e. banned. The 1st commandment from Rome/Churchianity clearly states the existence of many gods. Were there several mono-gods in use in different parts of the old world? We might also view the current situation as if the Roman Empire never lost its grip, but only functioned under a new name: Churchianity. I.e.: The church is the Roman Empire, popes are Caesars, and the different sects of Churchianity function as (a kind of) Roman Empire divisions. According to pure Heathenry, gods - the real gods - preside over the Laws of Nature, these flawless runners of the universe. Gods cannot be prayed to, as they reside within man. Within each individual. We access Ásgarður within by nýsa niður (Hávamál). Once we practice that, we can, each and every individual - in time - master the Laws of Nature. Heathens lay the bridge Bifröst (pronounce; Biff-roest) layer by layer, to reach - in time - Valhöll fully alive. I shall tell you why Valhöll is for us alive (and why these later-time distortions; To call Valhöll a place of the dead is, most likely, a later-time mix-up with Churchian ideas, Heaven and Hell after death, and that one life-span only invention.) As I see it, Heathens see no need to agree on anything. Neither do they see any need to thrust their opinions onto others. But, on the contrary, þeokracies thrive on obedience and agreement on concepts and doctrines. We should know that the spiritual tradition that evolved with our nation in our land in accordance with The Laws of Nature here, is the most appropriate for us. Not any imported religion-systems from other peoples in other lands. In Heathenry, the state of consciousness of each individual determines his view on life, and his understanding, but in þeokracies there is (is supposed

3 to be) One Correct Doctrine. Deviation is not supposed to be allowed for. Yet, many a man seems to meddle up with doctrines to his own convenience, mould the rigid doctrine to serve his goals. Even to the most non-biblical ideas - often taken from Heathenry: Heathen feasts were incorporated into the doctrine from Rome (-- which is utterly non-biblical an act --), but which was a smart act towards the gaining of popularity from the joyful masses. Smart strategy. Þeosofi deals with purpose and goal of each human individual s life-spans, while þeokrasi is used to demand obedience of others, or claim authority over the so-called divine dominance. We will reveal what is pure þeosofi according to Norse Edda poems and myths, and how þeosofi is all about each individual s purpose and goal of life. The fact that men live on different states of consciousness is also taken into account: One s state of consciousness makes all the difference when it comes to understanding divinity - and find it within. In the research project Óðsmál every concept in Heathenry is explained from the þeosofical point of view. This throws a light on the profound meaning contain in these many hitherto not (or wrongly) understood names and concepts in Heathenry - and the misleading interpretations of myths and poems (which are to be found all around, lapping up one from the other). Besides our forefathers Science of Consciousness, there is to be found in Heathenry amazing science such as physics space-time foam and wormholes! Great fun - and utterly enlightening - to see all that ancient beauty in a new light. Whatever had gone missing before and during the Viking age, Heathenry s original meaning might have shone through. Can we find many an instance of that fact? Dazzling rediscoveries in Óðsmál: * Freyja is a space-time foam bubble, and so is Afrodita, * Óðinn uses worm-holes to access the mead of greatest wisdom, * Óðinn Vili Véi are HilbertSpace, Operators, States, or rishi devataa chhandas in samhitaa. * We now understand how to nýsa niður (Hávamál), and visit lognfara lundur Barri (Skírnismál), * we learn how to visit Ásgarður daily, the sphere of the flawless Natural Law, over which our gods preside. -- And how, in time, we shall master the Laws of Nature.

4 * We learn how to lay the bridge Bifröst (pronounce Biff-roest) layer by layer, * to reach Valhöll fully alive - which is the purpose and goal of our many human life-spans. * Hel, Helia, is a delightful coffee break between our many life-spans. She is mild, a much-needed rest, and we, being without the body, have no physical needs. * Urður Verðandi Skuld are the law of karma: our own actions returning. A Law of Nature. Heathen men are all-responsible. Verðandi works for us when we dwell in Hel. We get reborn to our Skuld. * What are tröll, þursar, jötnar? * What is Ginnungagap, Iðavellir, who is Ymir the sounding, * what is Gungnir the vibrations registered by our 5 senses which correlate to the 5 höfuðskepnur (the main-created /the 5 elements)? * Þursamegir III are triguna, 3 qualities of Nature, rulers of the world. We should take a break from them by nýsa niður daily. * Why do names of gods, days, planets, and parts of the human brain all correlate? * The broken symmetry (physics): Boose Fields and Fermi Fields, Æsir and jötnar. Returning to Unity at ragnarök. Every concept in Edda poems and myths is now - in Óðsmál - understood anew. We call it a paradigm shift * from ignorance, believe in the letter, illiteracy on allegory, mundane superficial understanding, * to the profound understanding of purpose and goal of our many life-spans - and how to reach our divine goal of spiritual evolution. Each human life-span is precious. Living in a body is our only means to advance on our evolutionary path towards perfection: reach Valhöll, fully alive. We will ask: Why and how did that one life-span only sneak in, when we know Hel/Helia to be a place of rest, a peaceful coffee break, between the many human life-spans - and how does that affect valour and fearlessness? The big questions are: * Do I create my own Skuld, accept my örlög (fate), fight for my own cause, my land, my bairns, or, * do I die for loyalty to a king and his ambitions - if yes, then why? * Óðsmál research started in MI University in year 1990; the allegory and symbolic language in Edda poems and myths revealed to rediscover the supreme Science of Consciousness known by our forefathers, -- and their known physics too.
