2 HISTORY AND FACTS In Singapore, we are about 1500 Danes 500 families 140 Danish companies The Danish Seamen s Church in Singapore was founded in 1984, and resides in historical buildings on Mount Faber, which have just gone through a major renovation The Church is considered by Danes as the Danish House in Singapore, and are therefore both our Church and our Social House. The Church activities are amongst the main pillars for Danes in Singapore- ashore as well as abroad. The Church has 6 staff members in Singapore. The Church is managed by the Port Chaplain and The Church Council.

5 EXPENSES We have reached our goals regarding our economy and have now managed to set aside a buffer for the operation of the church, in addition to that, we currently have a renovation cost of a minimum of SGD coming. Still we need to maintain our goal and have our yearly costs sponsored through Corporate Sponsors, memberships and DSUK (Danske Sømands og Udenlandskirker). The only cost covered by DSUK is the salary for the 3 Danish employees send out from Denmark, all other costs in the church including rent has to be covered by our sponsors. Our annual fixed costs in Singapore are about SGD ex. Danish salaries and they are to be covered by Private and Corporate Sponsors.

You can chose between 4 different options as a Corporate Sponsor, and enjoy a number of different privileges as listed below It s our goal that our Corporate Sponsors only will be contacted once a year for a smooth and lean co-operation and a minimum of administration. Corporate Sponsorship Categories Marketplace Sponsors You become Marketplace Sponsor by donating minimum 250,00 SGD to The Danish Seamen s Church and by offering our Members a minimum of 15% rebate on your goods subject to showing their membership card. 9 BENEFITS FOR OUR SPONSORS Sponsor Nights Every year in October we will host a Sponsor Night The sponsor night is held as a networking event for our Sponsors and Church Council only. Renting the church Possibility to rent the church for corporate functions.
