Left at traffic light on to North Main St. Pass Charlton Town Hall and Bay Path Cemetery and North Main St. becomes Rt. 31 [aka Dresser Hill Rd] Go about 2 miles, turn right on E. Baylies Rd. and go about 2 miles. The cemetery is on the right, setting off the road about 100 yards. An access road goes passed a private home to the entrance at a stone wall. Blood Cemetery is about 1 acre in size and if surrounded on 4 sides by field stone walls. An access road divides the cemetery into two sections. Entering from E. Baylies Rd., the smaller of the two sections is on the north side and contains 8 short rows. The larger section on the south side contains 16 much longer rows. Row numbers run east-west and begin on the west end [rear of the cemetery] Lot numbers run north-south and each side begins at the access road. Blood Cemetery [aka Dresser Hill Public Yard] contains many stones markers that have no markings. Some of the stone markers have worn with age or in need of cleaning, making them not legible. There are many burials that have no markers and some are listed here as open lots. Sec-Row-Lot Name Birth Death [Age] [Marriage] Comments S-5-81 Adams, Joel Jr., b Mendon, d.
