1 Central Alabama Emmaus Community the 4th day newsletter February 25, 2018 A MESSAGE FROM WALK #191 They said to each other, Didn t our hearts burn within us as He talked with us on the road and explained the Scriptures to us? Luke 24:32 Dear Central Alabama Emmaus Community, I simply cannot find the adequate words to thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus for Walk 191. You as a community have not only fulfilled God s mission for this walk but you have left a lasting impression on the hearts of each pilgrim and team member on this walk. The lives of the pilgrims have been touched and transformed through your acts of love and service. 2 A MESSAGE FROM WALK #191 SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR Walk 191 was an awesome walk. The ladies began to gel Wednesday night. From the time they introduced their First New Friend until closing GOD moved. Thursday they started to open up to each other more. Talking about what they had gone through. They laughed and GOD blessed. Friday brought about some changed lives. There was a lot the Ladies laid down and gave up. Their sins and situations have been covered by the Blood Of Jesus. Watching the faces of these Ladies after confession, showed relief. GOD really changed hearts this week. As Spiritual Director of this Walk, it was a joy serving. The Lay Director, Gene Ann Jimmerson and her team of ALD s were great. My prayer, as I told the Ladies, is that GOD would continuously bless them and they would continue to trust Him.
