1 January 25, 2017 Dear Lay Ministers, Thank you for your faithful service at our weekly Masses. Your love and generosity to Our Lord and His Church are evident! You are always in my prayers as you go about your daily lives and strive to help build the Kingdom of Our Lord. The schedule in the bulletin might be different than this schedule. This schedule is the final draft, so please go use this one. As we lead our busy lives, we do ask that all the lay ministers be at the Church no later than 10 minutes before Mass time. This assures the Mass Captain that all ministries are covered. It also allows you ample time to get situated in your ministry and pray before Mass. If you habitually run late, please make every effort to be at Church at the check in time. One special note to the Mass Captains: As we check in the lay ministers for Mass, please always err on the side of charity and mercy. All ministers should be at Mass 10 minutes early, but I would urge you to wait a few extra minutes to replace a minister if you can. IMPORTANT NOTE: Ash Wednesday is March 1st. Please let me know as soon as you can if there is a Mass at which you cannot serve in March including Ash Wednesday. I would like to know your schedule no later than February 10th. Thank you in keeping to this schedule! Again, Fr. Jack, Fr. Keith and I are very grateful for your service to Sacred Heart. Without you, our liturgies would not be as reverent and beautiful. May God always bless you and keep you close to His Heart!
