5 Fasting Tips Fasting is abstaining from food for spiritual purposes. BEGIN A FAST WITH AN ATTITUDE OF POSITIVE FAITH IT IS GOD S WILL THAT I FAST WHEN I FAST ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURE GOD WILL BLESS ME But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly. Matthew 6: Find a quite place with NO distractions. * Turn off your mobile phone 2. Keep away from TV while on your fast 3. Set a time to be with God. Beginners aim for 20 minutes or ½ an hour. If you can, 1 hour would be great. Jesus said could you not spend One Hour with me 4. Read & Feast on the Word of God 5. Meditate Take one verse or part of a verse and think on it alone. Silence your thoughts, stop them wandering and fix your thoughts on that one verse or passage. 6. Listen to Christian music Praise & Worship 7. Drink plenty of water 8. Don t eat a huge meal before your fast i.e. eat light before & after the fast 9. The focus isn t Not Eating Food - The focus is Spending Time With God 10.Again DRINK PLENTY OF WATER If You Have Any Medical Condition(s) Seek Medical Advice Before Any Fast

ND WHEN Before I can see breakthrough in my nation, I must see breakthrough in my community. PRAYER Before I can see breakthrough in my community I must see breakthrough in my Church. Before I see breakthrough in my Church, I must see breakthrough in my family. PRAY FOR THE POWER & WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT TO MANIFEST IN YOUR LIFE. PRAY FOR THE PRESENCE Before I see breakthrough in my family I must see breakthrough in MY life. - It Starts With Me - An essential key to breakthrough in the believers life is to be found in the Blessed Person Of The Holy Spirit Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed? So often we focus on the problems & think if the problems go away we have breakthrough. This is only a temporary breakthrough & other problems will sooner or later present. However when YOU receive the Holy Spirit,You receive the Life & Power of God flowing In & Through your life.you receive a Supernatural, Divine Enabling that positions you for miraculous breakthroughs. We read that Jesus was Full of the Holy Spirit & that Jesus went in the Power of the Holy Spirit. - Put on a worship CD & begin to pray in the Spirit - Commit to pray in the Spirit each day for a set period of time - Consciously yield to the Holy Spirit IN your life. MANIFESTATION OF THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THE HOLY SPIRIT IN YOUR LIFE WILL LEAD YOU INTO ALL TRUTH, HE WILL ILLUMINATE GOD S WORD TO YOU, HE WILL QUICKEN (MAKE ALIVE) THAT WHICH IS DEAD. ONLY THE HOLY SPIRIT BRINGS SPIRITUAL LIFE. HE WILL STRENGTHEN YOU WITH MIGHT IN THE INNER MAN. YOUR LIFE. PRAY THAT GOD WOULD SO MOVE UPON YOU IN THE MIGHT & POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, CONVICTING, CONVINCING, EMPOWERING, MAKING ALIVE YOU WOULD BE A CHANGED MAN OR WOMEN FOR HIS GLORY. THAT Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit has come upon You. 2 Corinthians 13:14 speaks of the communion of the Holy Spirit-the Greek word for communion speaks of partnership, participation, fellowship. Daily we need to be filled & go on being filled, yielding to Him & allowing His presence & power to manifest in our lives. & PROCLAIM HEAVENLY FATHER FOR THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. I THANK YOU HOLY SPIRIT THAT YOU QUICKEN ME, THAT YOU EMPOWER ME, THAT YOU LEAD ME INTO ALL TRUTH, THAT YOU ILLUMINATE THE THANK YOU WORD OF GOD TO ME AND OPEN THE EYES OF MY UNDERSTANDING. & HONOUR YOUR PRESENCE IN MY LIFE. 8 Prayer For Families Prayer Chain Tuesday Prayer points Pray that God brings restoration of order and authority to families. Pray that God would bring restoration to relationships within the family unit and healing from the past and hurts in the family. Pray for the protection and provision of the families (Soul, Body and Spirit). 1 Thes 5:23-24, 2 Thes 3:3, Mat 6:13, Phil 4:19 Pray that God would pour out His Holy Spirit upon every family that He will bring a great spiritual awakening to the families. Joel 2:28 Pray that every family will grow in love and unity and purpose in The Lord. Eph 3:16-17 Pray that God will supernaturally move in each family. Pray blessing over the families. Num 6:24-26

9 Tuesday - Family Breakthrough DA I LY S C R I P T U R E ACTS 2:38,39, AND YE SHALL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. FOR THE PROMISE IS UNTO YOU, AND TO YOUR CHILDREN, AND TO ALL THAT ARE AFAR OFF, EVEN AS MANY AS THE LORD OUR GOD SHALL CALL. So often in Christian circles we see families in damage control or survival mode. A picture of a soldier backed into the trenches & being bombed left, right & centre, hanging on for dear life, suffering through it all. There is such an onslaught from the enemy against families that is threatening the very fabric of society. Fatherless children, homes ravaged by divorce. One report suggested 13 year olds today suffer the same levels of stress & anxiety as patients in a mental asylum in the 1950 s. In contrast we read in the Word of God: The Kingdom of God is Righteousness, Joy & Peace in the Holy Spirit. Does this describe your home, your marriage, your children. The good news is, we don t have to be like Samson after he lost his Supernatural Power, tied to a mill, blinded & being tormented by the enemy. We (our whole family) can be like Samson when the Spirit of the Lord came upon him, the enemies worst nightmare, a destroyer of the enemy, an overcomer. In his natural strength Samson was a defeated man, in the Supernatural strength of the Holy Spirit he was an overcomer. In your natural strength you (your family) will be PRAYER HEAVENLY FATHER, I THANK YOU THAT YOU HAVE PROMISED US THE GIFT OF YOUR HOLY SPIRIT, THE THIRD PERSON OF THE TRIBUNE GOD. TODAY WE/I PRAY THAT YOU WOULD FORGIVE US FOR THE TIMES WHEN WE HAVE & QUENCHED YOUR HOLY SPIRIT IN OUR HOME. TODAY WE ASK THAT YOU WOULD FILL US AFRESH, FILL GRIEVED OUR HOME AFRESH AS WE DEDICATE OUR HOME TO YOU FOR YOUR & GLORY. YOU SAID IN YOUR WORD THAT WE/I & OUR/MY CHILDREN WILL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, THAT WE/I & OUR/MY CHILDREN WOULD RECEIVE POWER & THAT WE/I & OUR/MY CHILDREN WOULD EXPERIENCE THE SUPERNATURAL, DREAMS, VISIONS, PROPHECIES. HEAVENLY FATHER WE ASK FOR THE MANIFESTATION & FULFILMENT OF YOUR WORD, YOUR PROMISES IN THIS OUR HOME IN JESUS NAME AMEN. defeated. BUT in the Supernatural strength of the Holy Spirit you will be over-comers. You Shall Receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. FOR THE PROMISE IS TO YOU & YOUR CHILDREN. How can we ignore The Promise Of The Father? If we do, we do so to our own peril. But when we take hold of the promises of God which are Yes & Amen In Christ. We can move from the realm of natural defeat into the realm of Supernatural Victory. Australia, this world, is in such a desperate state, that only the army of God, walking in the Power of the Spirit of God can answer. The recruitment pool for the Army of God is You,Your Home,Your Family,Your Children. PROCLAIM MY BODY IS THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, REDEEMED CLEANSED & SANCTIFIED. I AM NOT MY OWN I HAVE BEEN BROUGHT WITH A PRICE. I YIELD TO YOU HOLY SPIRIT I CONSECRATE MYSELF AFRESH TO YOU & DECLARE YOUR POWER, PRESENCE & ANOINTING IN MY LIFE.

10 Prayer Chain Wednesday Prayer points Prayer For The Church Pray that righteousness and praise would spring forth from the church of God. Isa 61:11 Pray that God would fill His church with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Col 1:9 Pray that the body of Christ would be knit and joined together and that every part would do it s share causing growth in the body. Eph 4:16 Pray that the church would set it s mind on things above and not things of this earth. Col 3:2 Pray that the church would speak forth God s Word with great boldness, that God would stretch forth His hand to heal, and that signs and wonders would be done in Jesus name. Acts 4:29-30

11 Wednesday - Breakthrough In The Church DA I LY S C R I P T U R E ACTS 4:33 AND GREAT GRACE WAS UPON THE CHURCH. MATTHEW 16:18 UPON THIS ROCK I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH; AND THE GATES OF HADES WILL NOT PREVAIL AGAINST IT. The Church of God, according to Acts 20:28, was purchased by His (God s) blood. The Church is God s Plan, His Purpose, His Desire, His Love, His Focus. Jesus gave Himself (on the Cross) for His Church that He might Sanctify & Cleanse her. One of the Greek words for Church is Ecclessia, PRAYER LEAD YOUR FAMILY IN PRAYING FOR YOUR LOCAL CHURCH: * UNITY, AS JESUS PRAYED THAT THEY ALL MAY BE ONE; AS THOU, FATHER, ART IN ME, AND I IN THEE, THAT THEY ALSO MAY BE ONE IN US:THAT THE WORLD MAY Church is not just something we attend on a Sunday. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army. Ezekiel 37:10 which means Called Out, Called Out Together, Called Out For A Purpose. Church is Who & What We Are. Church defines us, Church gives us purpose & direction & meaning in life. Because the Church is The Body of Christ, The Temple of God, The Army of God, The Bride of Christ. BELIEVE THAT THOU HAST SENT ME * GOD S WILL, THAT THE CHURCH WOULD BE FILLED WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD S WILL * HOLY SPIRIT, PRAY FOR THE THE POWER, PRESENCE & MANIFESTATION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THE CHURCH SERVICES & IN EACH & EVERY MEMBER OF THE CHURCH. * FRUITFULNESS, PRAY FOR GROWTH, GOOD WORKS, HOLINESS, SOULS SAVED, HEALED & DELIVERED. Can you imagine a local Church where each member recognises they are called out of the world, sin & darkness, called out together INTO fellowship & partnership with the body of Christ, to be the heart, the eyes, the hands & the feet of Jesus, in this hurt & dying world. Each & every person, a valued, valid & significant member in Christ s body. Baptised into the body by the Holy Spirit according to God s good pleasure & God s plans, to accomplish God s purposes. A Church walking in the Authority of God s Word & in the Power of the Holy Spirit is unstoppable. Israel were taken out of Egypt (speaks of our Redemption) & marched into the promised land to possess it. So too the Church is called to Possess the Promises of God. Tearing down the strongholds (walls of Jericho) killing the giants & driving out the enemy. Church it is time to arise & take your place in the Army of God so we can fulfil the Purposes of the Church in these last days. PROCLAIM WE DECLARE THAT WE ARE THE CHURCH, THAT JESUS IS BUILDING US UP & THE GATES OF HADES WILL NOT PREVAIL. WE ARE EACH MEMBERS OF HIS BODY, JOINED TOGETHER & STRENGTHENED BY THAT WHICH WE RECEIVE FROM CHRIST & THEN CONTRIBUTE TO THE BODY. WE DECLARE (YOUR LOCAL CHURCH NAME) BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING.

12 Prayer Chain Thursday Prayer points Prayer For The Community Pray that the Lord would send forth His Spirit of Truth, to bear witness of Jesus Christ in your community. John 16:13 Pray that the Spirit of God would convict the community of sin, of righteousness and of Judgement. John 16:8 Pray that your community will be filled with the knowledge of the the Glory of God. Hab 2:14 Pray that God would open a door for the word, so Christians can speak the mystery of Christ in the community. Col 4:3 Pray that those in our communities would come unto God through Jesus Christ and that He would save them to the uttermost. Heb 7:25

13 Thursday - Breakthrough In The Community DA I LY S C R I P T U R E ACTS 2:47 PRAISING GOD, AND HAVING FAVOUR WITH ALL THE PEOPLE. AND THE LORD ADDED TO THE CHURCH DAILY SUCH AS SHOULD BE SAVED. Oh what joy, what rejoicing when a sinner repents & puts his/her faith in Jesus Christ. The happy witness of the early Church, was souls being Saved DAILY. Around the world today souls are being saved & added to the Church daily. The Word of God declares in 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us- ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. The Son of God, Jesus Christ, came into this world to seek & save those who are lost. His death on the cross was to this Glorious end, the salvation & redemption of lost sinners. Every single one of us know someone, if not, know many, who need salvation. Husbands, wives, children, family & friends. Neighbours, work colleagues, school, college & uni friends. PRAYER OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN WE PRAY FOR DIVINE APPOINTMENTS TO SHARE THE WORD WITH PEOPLE IN OUR COMMUNITY. THAT BY THE POWER OF YOUR SWEET SPIRIT THEIR HEARTS WILL BE CONVINCED AND CONVICTED UNTO SALVATION. WE PRAY FOR BOLDNESS TO BE FAITHFUL CONTENDERS OF YOUR PURE WORD OH GOD. LET THE HEARTS OF THE SAINTS BE STIRRED UP, AS YOU LORD OF THE HARVEST SEND OUT LABOURERS INTO THE FIELDS TO BRING IN THE HARVEST. WE THANK YOU FOR REACHING OUT AND TOUCHING, CHANGING AND SETTING FREE, SOULS IN THIS COMMUNITY, IN YOUR WONDERFUL NAME JESUS. AMEN. I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repents, Luke 15:7 there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents Luke 15:10 Praise God, not one of them is beyond the saving Grace of the Almighty. Hebrews declares: Wherefore HE is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by HIM, seeing HE ever liveth to make intercession for them. How glorious our Great & Blessed Saviour Saves to the uttermost. Where sin abounds Grace does much more abound. The Gospel of Christ is the POWER of God unto Salvation. Grace is superabundantly more Powerful than sin. The Gospel of Christ is more Powerful than the blindness of sinners. The Power of God is Greater than the power of the god of this world. Only Believe - God Saves PROCLAIM I DECLARE THAT ME & MY HOUSEHOLD SHALL BE SAVED & THAT FATHER IS TO & MY CHILDREN & MY CHILDREN'S CHILDREN & TO ALL WHO ARE AFAR OFF. GOD IS NOT THE PROMISE OF THE ME WILLING THAT YOU SHOULD PERISH (INSERT NAME) BUT THAT YOU SHOULD COME TO REPENTANCE (INSERT NAME).

14 Prayer Chain Friday Prayer points Prayer For The Government & Nation Pray that we may be able to continue to lead quiet and peaceable lives in all godliness and reverence. Pray also for those living in countries where Christians are persecuted. 1 Tim Pray that God will direct the minds and hearts of the leaders and those in authority, in Australia and throughout the world. Prov 21:1 Pray that the governments will be just and that they will be given discernment of right and wrong, that comes from God. Psalm 72 Pray that The Lord would pour His Spirit upon our nation of Australia and throughout the world. Acts 2:17 Pray that God s people would humble themselves and pray for their nation, seek God's face, turn from their wicked ways, that God would heal their land. 2 Chron 7:14 Pray that The Lord would send revival to Australia and the world that we may rejoice in Him. Psalm 85:6 Pray that the nations would be blessed through God s people. Gal 3:8 Pray for the nation of Australia and for the nations that they will be awakened. Joel 3:12 Pray that God would send forth His salvation though out all the world. Is 49:6

15 Friday - Breakthrough In The Nations DA I LY S C R I P T U R E PSALM 2:8 ASK OF ME, AND I WILL GIVE YOU THE NATIONS FOR YOUR INHERITANCE, AND THE ENDS OF THE EARTH FOR YOUR POSSESSION. This is a favourite scripture for many who want to see the nations won for Christ. PRAYER We often see it as an invitation to pray for the nations, and it is. LORD, But there is a deeper truth to be found when we look at the preceding verse in this psalm. THE AUTHORITY THAT WE HAVE IN HAVE IN YOUR THE LORD HAS SAID TO ME, 'YOU ARE MY SON, TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU. ASK OF ME, AND I WILL GIVE YOU THE NATIONS FOR YOUR INHERITANCE, AND THE ENDS OF THE EARTH FOR YOUR POSSESSION. His authority has been delegated to us as His representatives, and He has given us the commission to go out and make disciples of all nations. It is not just something we can pray for, we can ask with all confidence and certainty that the authority to fulfil the great commission has already been given YOU, AND HELP US TO CLAIM THE INHERITANCE WE Psalm 2:7-8 I WILL DECLARE THE DECREE: Psalm 2 is a Messianic psalm - it's about Jesus. And when we look at verse 7 we see that the decree has already been made Jesus, the Son of God has been given authority over all of the earth the nations and the ends of the earth are His. HELP US TO RECOGNISE YOU. THANK YOU FOR PROMISE THAT OUR INHERITANCE IS THE NATIONS WON FOR CHRIST, AND THAT TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST WILL BE PROCLAIMED AS LORD. PROCLAIM LORD, YOUR WORD SAYS THAT EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW, AND EVERY TONGUE CONFESS, THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD. WE PROCLAIM TODAY THAT YOUR WORD WILL BE FULFILLED THAT WE WILL BE GIVEN THE NATIONS AS OUR INHERITANCE, AND TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. PHILIPPIANS 2:10-11 THE NAME OF JESUS WILL BE LIFTED UP, SO THAT ALL MEN YOU ARE AND LORD OF MIGHT KNOW THAT KING OF KINGS LORDS

16 Psalm 34 I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt His name together. I sought the LORD, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them. Evil shall slay the wicked, And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned. The LORD redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.
