We Three Kings We three kings of Orient are Bearing gifts we travel so far Field and fountain, moor and mountain Following yonder star O Star of wonder, star of light Star with royal beauty bright Westward leading, still proceeding Guide us to thy Perfect Light Born a King on Bethlehem's plain Gold I bring to crown Him again King forever, ceasing never Over us all to rein Frankincense to offer have I Incense owns a Deity nigh Pray'r and praising, all men raising Worship Him, God most high Myrrh is mine, its bitter perfume Breathes of life of gathering gloom Sorrowing, sighing, bleeding, dying Sealed in the stone-cold tomb Glorious now behold Him arise King and God and Sacrifice Heav n sings Alleluia, Alleluia The earth replies
Come and Join the Celebration Come and Join the Celebration It s a very special day Come and share our jubilation There s a new King born today 1. See the shepherds Hurry down to Bethlehem Gaze in wonder. At the son of God who lay before them 2. Wise men journey Led to worship by a star Kneel in homage Bringing special gifts from lands afar so 3. God is with us Round the world the message brings He is with us Welcome all the bells on earth are ringing Merrily To Bethlehem 1. Merrily to Bethlehem ter-li-ter-lo Come the shepherds singing and the pipes they blow And on earth - peace to men 2. In the stable they kneel down devotedly Yield their willing hearts to offer Lord to thee And on earth - peace to men
Once in Royal Once in royal David s city, Stood a lowly cattle shed, Where a mother laid her Baby, In a manger for His bed: Mary was that mother mild, Jesus Christ, her little Child. He came down to earth from heaven, Who is God and Lord of all, And His shelter was a stable, And His cradle was a stall: With the poor, and mean, and lowly, Lived on earth our Saviour holy. And through all His wondrous childhood He would honour and obey Love and watch the lowly maiden In whose gentle arms he lay Christian children all should be Mild, obedient, good as he. And our eyes at last shall see Him, Through His own redeeming love; For that Child so dear and gentle, Is our Lord in heaven above: And He leads His children on, To the place where He is gone.
Christmas Has Started! 1. Have you noticed the Christmas Trees? The mistletoe and the holly wreaths? Coloured lanterns for all to see It s so pretty along our street. Christmas has started, presents and parties Music and dancing into the night Singing and laughter, raising the rafters Have yourself a wonderful time 2. Have you heard all the Christmas songs? The choirs and carols and church ding dong?! Festive favourites from ages gone It s so lovely to sing along 3. Have you tasted the Christmas food? The deep mince pies and the figgy pud? Sweet satsumas and chestnuts too? Turkey dinner for me and you 4. Have you put on your Christmas hat? Pulled a cracker and said How s that? Played with presents that you ve unwrapped Watched the telly and had a nap? We Wish You a Christmas And a happy new year Good tidings we bring To you and your kin And a happy new year
Christmas Without Carols Like holly without ivy, like a sledge without the snow Like a jolly chuckling Santa with a beard that doesn t grow. A Christmas without carols just wouldn t be the same For a Christmas without carols is like Christmas in the rain. Like a turkey without stuffing, like a tree without its lights Like a present without wrapping or a panto without tights. Midnight 1. Midnight, there s the strangest feeling in the air tonight There s something going on but I can t make it out I wonder what it s all about? 2. Starlight breaking through the darkness in the dead of night Illuminates the path that takes you out of sight And all the way to Bethlehem Tonight s events were planned in Heaven The greatest story ever penned Heaven and earth have come together And life has come to Bethlehem 3. Angels taking care of things that only they can do Are waiting in the wings to bring the joyful news It s going to turn the world around 4. Strangers having made arrangements for a night or two Have found accommodation in the crowded rooms The house is packed in Bethlehem 5. Shepherds minding their own business looking after things Are startled by an unexpected happening As angel choirs appear to them 6. Wise men taking charts and telescopes and compasses Investigate the star that takes them travelling Until they come to Bethlehem
Jingle Bells Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way, Oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh, hey Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way, Oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh, Dashing through the snow, in a one horse open sleigh, O er the fields we go, laughing all the way, Bells on bobtails ring, making spirits bright, What fun it is to ride and sing a sleighing song tonight, oh
