4 Official Minutes from September 13, 2016 Dutchess County Dental Society Executive Board Meeting The Executive Board of the Dutchess County Dental Society met on Tuesday September 13, 2016 at Cappucino s by Coppola Restaurant in Poughkeepsie, New York. Board members present were: Drs. Angiolillo,Blondin, Bloom, Costello, Dewhirst, Kirtland, Kroboth, Paunovic, Prunty, Riggins, Rosenbloom, Schwartz, Smith, and Wiston Call to order at 7: PM The June 2016 Executive board minutes were accepted. President s Report: Dr. Lina Angiolillo gave a welcome report and started introduction of current board members and new recording secretary Dr. Wiston. Secretary`s Report: Dr. Michael Schwartz reported he will be accepting topics for Out on a Limb column. Reported that Dr. Sandy Kirsch passed away. Dr Ed Scarvalone retiring and will make mention of these two events in the Bulletin. Treasurer Report: Dr. Richard Rosenbloom reported some checks have not been deposited from Dutchess Outreach program one being Arbor Ridge. Membership Report: Dr. Michael Smith reported of potential new members, Dr. Tony Cruz and Dr. Josephine Korlei Mensah, who need to apply and attend next meeting. Community Outreach Committee: Dr. John Costello has no report.

5 Dutchess County Players: Dr. Tom Bloom and Joseph Blondin will begin contacting schools. Any suggestions are welcomed. Website Committee: Dr. Tamara Kroboth reported website should be up to date. Dental Health Month and Poster Ad: 9 th district will send out more information Fluoridation Effort Committee: Dr. Bill Kirtland reported active fluoridation in Homer, NY, but dead in Dutchess County. DCDS Hall of Fame Committee: Dr. Michael Schwartz reported Mark Mason appointed Ninth District Executive Committee: Dr. Frank Vigliotti has no new report Ninth District Board of Governors: Dr. Tom Bloom and Michael Smith reported dues up due to deficit. Toro Dental School to open this Fall with 110 student class in Valhala. Ninth District ABFM Committee: Dr. Irving Baum has no report. Ninth District Nominating Committee: Dr. Bill Kirtland reported Erin Prunty ADA Alternate Delegate. Ninth District Individuals with Disabilities Committee: Dr. Ed Riggins reported silver diamine fluoride by FDA used to prevent and treat caries. Ninth District Medal Committee Dr. Bill Kirtland has no new report. Ninth District Bulletin Committee Dr. Tom Bloom has no new report. Ninth District Claims Committee Dr. Tom Bloom has no report.
