3 Monument Dedication to Alabamas Unknown Confederate Soldiers A monument was dedicated to Alabamas Unknown Confederate Soldiers at Confederate Veterans Memorial Park in Luverne on August 27. The event included a flagraising ceremony, memorial Roll Call, and gun salute. The monument is engraved Unknown Alabama Soldier, CSA Mother, I have been found, I am home. Gen. Edmond Winchester Rucker 2534 Celebrates 30 th Anniversary of Chapter UDC members gathered at PoFolks Restaurant on Boll Weevil Circle in Enterprise on August 27 to celebrate the 30 th Anniversary of the founding of the Chapter. Mrs. Lavinia Helms (photo, seated on right), a Charter Member of the Chapter, attended the event.
