1 b.. Sign-up sheet is on bulletin board for dinner. All church members are encouraged to participate in providing talent as this is a church-wide talent show. If you are interested in providing talent please contact Jeff Atkins. All proceeds ($6.00 a person) will go towards our youth and children attending Passport Camps this summer. The warmer weather brings with it the busiest season for most of our lives. Sports, vacations, getaways, and other activities fill up our calendars quickly. We look forward to all of the fun things that spring and summer bring. With this in mind, I pray that we will remember that God should come first in our lives. There will be several ministry opportunities to serve with our church family this summer and one of the greatest is Vacation Bible School! This year's theme is Cave Quest, following Jesus the light of the world! Each day the children will rotate through several stations where they will be reminded of and encouraged by the Bible verse for that day. We are also planning on doing lunch each day! The dates are June 27 through July 1. Each day will kick off at 10:00am and wrap up around 2:00pm. Be in prayer for all of our leaders as we plan for this ministry. This Summer, we have decided to open up registration for VBS to our neighborhood friends as well as our Moffett children. We understand that things may get a little uncomfortable from time to time but Christ wants us to minister and serve with our friends all around us. We are one community and this ministry is an important reminder of our commitment. In years past, there have been several children who were impacted by VBS and as a result have accepted Christ into their life. Sharing his love with others should be our mission and this is great opportunity to do so. With this being said, it is likely that we will need more volunteers! A sign up sheet will be on the bulletin board soon so be in prayer for ways that you can help. I look forward to serving with our Moffett Family in this and many other ministries to come. In Christ, Jeff Atkins Minister to Youth And Children
