3 We did not know how the water would cover the earth, but I believed what God said, and I did as God told me. Genesis 6:14

4 Then it rained just as God said it would. I was glad that I listened to God. Do you know what my name is?

5 God told me to go to the promised land. I didn t know where the land was, but I listened to God. Genesis 12: 1-4

6 I did as God said, and found the promised land. Its still there for you to see that the promise of God is true. Can you tell me what my name is?

7 I didn t know how to do something I needed to. So I asked God for wisdom, because I wanted to please God with good works. Thank you Lord, for giving me wisdom! 1 King 3:5-9

8 Then, God gave me not only wisdom, but also many other good things, too! Can you tell me what my name is? 1 King 3: 10-15

9 I was afraid of the enemies, so I hid from them. But God called me a Mighty Soldier and I decided to believe and listen to Him. Judge 6: 11

10 Then, as God said, I ve won every battle! I m so glad that I ve listened to God. Do you know who I am? Judge Chapter 8

11 When God said to me Go to the Nineveh! I didn t want to go there. So I ran the other way as fast as I could. Jonah chapter 1

12 I wanted to go by sea to another country, but a BIG FISH swallowed me up. I said sorry to God, and then God let me out! Out of the BIG HORRIBLE FISH S stomach. Can you guess what my name is? Don t be like me, my name is. Yuk! Sorry Lord, I ll do as You said! Jonah Chapter 2

13 Our wine ran out during the wedding feast, and I didn t know what to do.

14 Then Jesus said, Pour water! It didn t make much sense but I listened to Jesus.

15 You wouldn t believe it, the water turned into the best wine we ve ever tasted!

16 I m so glad that I listened to Jesus. Can you tell me who I am? John 2: 1-11

17 My friend and I couldn t catch any fish all night. What were we to do? Then, Jesus said, Throw your nets into the deep end! and we listened to Jesus. Luke 5: 4 5

18 We caught so many fish that our boat was almost sinking! We were so glad that we listened to Jesus. Can you tell me what my name is? Luke 5: 6 11

19 There were many, many, many people and they were hungry. Then, the Holy Spirit spoke to me in my heart to give my lunch box to Jesus. I obeyed. John 6: 1-9

20 Then Jesus gave thanks to God and fed all the people. Everybody ate and there were twelve baskets of food left over! I m so glad that I listened to the Holy Spirit. My name is not written in the Bible, but I m happy that I helped Jesus do a miracle. John 6: 10-13

21 What do you think will happen when you and I listen to God? It is said in the Bible that the Word of God will not return empty, but will do what it says. So when I know it is God asking me to do something, I ll do it with joy in my heart, knowing that He will help me to do it. (Isaiah 55;11)

22 How would I know it is from God? 1. Check it with the Bible, God is a loving God. 2. Check with the 10 commandments. they are; Have no gods but God! Do not make idols! Do not misuse God s name! Keep the Sabbath! Honour your parents! Do not murder! Do not commit adultery! Do not steal! Do not lie and do not covet! Jesus said; love your God and your neighbour. Some of the names who listened to God: Noah, Abraham, King Solomon, Gideon, Jonah, a servant, a little boy, Peter, You and I!

24 God promised a Land for us and we believe what He says is true. We don t know how to get there, but we re sure that we ll get there.
