Age Group: All Ages Description: In 2013, Church of the Highlands (churchofthehighlands.org) asked everyone who attended the Easter service to fill out a survey. The question was, If you could pick a topic for Pastor Chris Hodges (Pastor of Church of the Highlands) to preach on, what would it be? They took the top 6 responses and created a sermon series called You asked for it. We will be using their small group curriculum to discuss these 6 topics this semester. The topics are How to Change, Purpose, Stress, Parenting, Forgiveness and Healing, and Faith and Doubt. We will cover one of these topics each of the 6 weeks of the semester. This is a time where people can share ideas and help each other create songs for Jesus. If you battle with negative thoughts (all of us do) this is an opportunity to learn how to overcome the negative chatter and hear God's voice above all others. So join us in this challenge to overpower the lies of self-doubt, condemnation, and discouragement.
