4 SCRIPTURE READING Psalm 103:1-14 Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle s. The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel: The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. 11 QUESTION SHEET Covenant with Dust - Genesis 2:15-17 In Scripture, we commonly find God dealing with people in terms of covenants, which are agreements between two parties in which each party pledges something to another. The biblical covenants are not made by equal parties God imposes them on human beings. However, His grace is seen even in His making covenants with us, for strictly speaking, the Creator owes nothing to His creatures. If you are unfamiliar with them, take a read of Genesis 9, 15, Exodus 19 and 2 Samuel How does God s covenant with Adam relate to us today? 3. Is there something specific in this covenant that God wants to show you about Himself today? 4. Where have you struggled to obey God s voice in your life recently?
