Crutchley INVOCATION CALL TO WORSHIP Psalm 92:1-2 It is good to give thanks to the LORD, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, And Your faithfulness every night. HYMN N o 100 Holy! Holy! Holy! SCRIPTURE READING 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 5 SREPC PRAYER LIST - NOVEMBER 2018 Prayer Requests from this Past Week, 11/4: Praise that Harriet was able to come to church today. Continued prayer for her healing. Marilyn Bandy - Praise that Jesus is opening the door to grace and mercy for Roy - pray for him to see God. Prayer for 1) God to soften Steve and Reid s hearts; 2) Sadia and her husband who has just received a kidney and pancreas transplant at Hopkins. May they trust on God s mercies; 3) God to keep the gentleman at Heritage Harbor in His graces as he heals - may he depend wholly upon God. Klaus Geineder - Praise that Adam is doing very well! Prayer for Mandy s mom who is in the hospital (I m not sure what is wrong with her). Pat Hayes - Praise for my healing, and that Chris starts work at Aberdeen Proving Ground as a contractor doing property book work.. Barb and Doug Smith - Praising God for His faithfulness - Thank you all for prayer for my friend whose husband died. Praying for 1) kids in church to hear the Good News of Christ in these social media days; 2) those who aren t or won t listen for God; 3) those facing unplanned pregnancies - that they choose life, and that we will help them; 4) our health and usefulness. Moriah Yeh - Prayer for Jonah as he enters this week into the final phase of basic training! Please pray for healing for his sore legs, and that it will not affect any of his physical fitness tests. Praise that he is finally receiving mail regularly, and that he continues to be in good spirits. Thank you to everyone who has been praying for us! Myra Russell - Praise that Tindell was kept safe during a car accident on Friday. Prayer - 1) that everything will be resolved quickly with the insurance company and other drivers. Tindell said no one was upset/angry about the accident; 2) Due to the age and condition of the Tahoe, we don't know if it will be considered totaled or not. We are in need of a another vehicle at this time. We do not have Rental coverage with our insurance. If anyone has a spare car we could borrow, please contact us. Tait Powell - Please continue to pray for my ESL class. I had only one student last Tuesday. Pray for our director, Sue; our receptionist, Deb; our snack provider, Sandee; our babysitter, Kathryn; our teachers, Lauren, Mike, and me; and our helpers, Rosaline and Lauren's Mom. Pray for good health, good preparation, and no problems with transportation. Pray for our students from various countries, that there never be too few or too many of them.pray for God's presence and his filling. Keith Thomas - Praise that the Lord gave me strength to work all day at the election polls. Lauren Donovan - Praise that my student Josiah (staph infection) is back in school! ADDED PRAYER REQUESTS:
