1 THIRD GENERATION 73 was the youngest child of Thomas Nash, the immigrant, and was born in England or in Leyden, in Thomas Nash was a gunsmith by trade, became a blacksmith, came to Boston first, then went to New Haven (then Quinnipiac), landing March, Timothy Nash was a blacksmith, came from Hartford, Conn., to Hadley in 1663, and died in 1699, aged 73. His wife, Rebeckah, was the daughter of Rev. Samuel Stone of Hartford. Children of Isaac and Hope (Nash) Warner, recorded in Hadley Isaac Warner, Ir., b. Nov. 12, 1694; d. Feb. 18, Daniel Warner, b. He was probably the son of Joseph Crowfoot of Springfield, who mentions a son Samuel in his will (S. M. Alvord), although the History of Hadley said he was probably son of Samuel of Hadley. 3 THIRD GENERATION 75 late of Hartford, now of Windham, and Deborah his wife, administrators on the estate of Nathaniel Crow, presented an account; Andrew and Deborah Warner were awarded one third of the real estate. [Manwaring, Early Conn. Prob. Rec, I 435, 7:121.] That Andrew Warner's wife was an unrecorded daughter of Thomas Leffingwell 1 is proved by his deed recorded in Windham [Book D:45] : "I Thomas Leffingwell of Norwich in consideration of the love good will and fatherly affection that I have and bear to my well beloved daughter Deborah Warner, give... unto my son-in-law Andrew Warner of Hartford Conn, all my right in 100 acres of land, mentioned in the within deed given to me from Abimelech ; June 21, 1704." Samuel Whiting of Windham conveyed to Andrew Warner of Hartford for 6, 50 acres on the southeast side of Auquebatuck abuting northerly on s'd Andrew Warner's land, March 2, 1708; witnesses, John ffitch, Joshua Lassell. Samuel Whiting also sold to Andrew Warner of Windham for 5, ten acres of meadow on the southwest side of Shautucket River, August 1, January 15, 1714, Andrew Warner of Windham conveyed to Ens 11. Thomas Leffingwell of Norwich 58 acres on the southwest side of Shautucket River, which he had purchased of Samuel Whiting. [Windham Deeds D 172, 211, 413.] Andrew Warner of Windham sold to Samuel Hutchinson of Lebanon "one acre on the south part of my farm in Windham and adjoining to s'd Hutchinson's land," March 5, [D:205]. February 6, , Andrew Warner of Mansfield conveyed to his son Joseph Warner of Windham for 50 the "tract I purchased of Whiting on the southwest side of Shautucket River in Windham (ten acres)." [Windham Deeds 8:98.] January 21, , Andrew Warner of Mansfield, farmer, for natural affection, love and good will, conveys to "my well beloved son Joseph Warner of Windham" 88 acres on the west side of Windham River. [G (7) 1424.] January 25, , Andrew Warner of Mansfield conveys to his son Thomas Warner of Mansfield land in Windham on the west side of Windham River; witnesses Elisha Warner, Richard Abbe. [9:27.] Andrew Warner and Deborah Warner his wife of Mansfield sold land there to Thomas Fitch of Boston, October 18, 1723; Nathaniel Bassett and wife Joanna of Mansfield sold land to Andrew Warner of Mansfield, November 26, [Mansfield Deeds 2:295, 290.] No later deeds are found in Mansfield, although Andrew Warner calls himself of that town in his will dated 31 Jan The children of Andrew and Deborah Warner were recorded all together in Windham as late as 1726; and a comparison of
