Correspondence from Ninth District Dr. Schwartz was instrumental in the application process and is happy to report that DCDS Players Committee was the award recipient of the NYS Foundation(GKAS). A discussion and motion was made and accepted to buy flowers for Tina Blondin as a thank you for her work on this project. Dr. Prunty will arrange for the flowers. 4. Correspondence from NYSDA Treasurer Dr. Richard Rosenbloom 1. General report: DCDS in good financial standing thanks to the All Day seminars which generates around $18,00.00 in profit. 2. Master membership spread sheet shows a significant budget surplus and a lengthy discussion followed as to how it could be drawn down by increasing attendance at the general meetings(see below). 3. Dues and Budget Membership Committee Dr. Michael Smith made a motion not to charge dues for the 2017 calender year. Also in that motion it was decided to decrease the Season Pass from $ to $ per year. If a Season Pass holder with a CONFIRMED reservation did not show then he/she would be charged the non subsidized cost of the meal. The motion passed. Also there was discussion and a motion presented by Dr. Riggins regarding the Season Pass for staff members. In this motion, any staff member would be able to attend a meeting and not just one individual staff member. The pass would stay the same cost for staff members at $ The motion for staff substitution passed. Dr Prunty discussed that this would also apply for Dr. Glavins residents. 1.
