Malachi 4:6: (Amplified)..he will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers (a reconciliation produced by repentance), so that I will not come and strike the land with a curse (of complete destruction). Luke 1:17: It is he who will go as a forerunner before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers back to the children, and the disobedient to the attitude of the righteous (which is to seek and submit to the will of God), in order to make ready a people (perfectly) prepared (spiritually and morally) for the Lord. Now is the time for reconciliation and forgiveness between father and son, to prepare a Godly nation for the Lord. Remember the biggest and deepest wound in a man is the father wound. If you minimize, deny or embrace it, it will only enlarge. The wounds enlarge through lifelessness, unforgiveness, rebellion and lovelessness. God will put pressure on your wound so that you can deal with it! The big question is: Which wound / lie do you believe?? Do I have what it takes? Am I man enough for that situation? Will I be the man to satisfy my wife and the father to discipline my children? Every wound or lie activates a vow, a vow that will keep me from living in the fullness of God. These vows activate a false sense of SELF, that s full of fear, rebellion or rejection. If we don t deal with this wound, the part of my heart that was wounded, stays at the age when it was hurt. (Is 61:1 Bondage & prison) Every posing man is a wounded boy and if the wound isn t healed, it will bring more pain and suffering. This wounded man will become a deadly shark in a suit; he will kill and destroy everything and everyone to reach out to what his wound needs to be covered. Affirmation and forgiveness will start to heal the wound, with the true love from a father as the healing oil. If there is restoration between a father and a son, God s promises will be activated and people will be prepared to live in union with Abba Father. There are 2 things a boy need: His father s delight Answers to his questions Matt3:17(Amplified): And behold, a voice from heaven said, This is My beloved Son, in Whom I am well-pleased and delighted! Jesus Himself needed to hear from the Father, that He is well pleased and delighted in Him! What about us?? Page 1

2 Thank you for joining us on this Father and Son camp, as part of Camp David Ministries, at farm Khomas near Windhoek. Every man wants a battle to fight, an adventure to live, and a beauty to rescue, that is part of our masculine human nature. Our first battle is the battle for our own heart. Proverbs 4:23: Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from is flow the springs of life. Our theme for this weekend is: The heart connection between father and son. Important: The son must be at least 14 years of age to attend the camp! What can you expect? It takes two to tango! Who am I? Eye to eye straight talks Forgiveness Sexual purity What fills your tank? Effect of blessing each other. Start praying for yourself Pray for your own heart (Prov 4:23, Jer 17:10) Pray that your wound will be healed and give God permission to do what He desires for you. Pray that God will awaken the desire inside you to come alive, put Him first and pray that God will use you to build His Kingdom on earth. (Matt 6:32-33) Remember: It is a TENTED CAMP! You need to bring your own tent and bedding. The camp starts Friday at 16:00 at Khomas Farm, until Sunday 14:00. Bring: i) Your Bible, pen & torch ii) Toiletries iii) Old clothes & running shoes iv) Warm jacket & sleeping bag / bedding v) Money to buy caps & t-shirts and for tuck shop. vi) Positive attitude!!
