5 An August Mourning Come gather friends and family to the sight at Dieppe Park. It's the 3rd Saturday in August and the service is about to start. United in reverence we stand, 10 A.M is the time, Dress accordingly, we're here rain or shine. The fountain marks our sanctuary and when the winds do blow, its waters refresh, and renews the names on the bricks below. As we approach the memorial of those we hold so dear, Our eyes are focused on the area where their names appear, Contented to know those we mourn will always be part of our team, Never forgotten, remembering the faces that by fate no longer are seen. Coming back each and every year gives comfort to an aching heart, Our caring presence and support is a way of doing our part. "Dear Father in Heaven when you meet our friends and loved ones face to face, Please convey our message that here on earth their memory is alive at this place." Gerry Vidler 5
