I am amazed at how much concise information is presented in such an exquisite way. Dr. Price's passion and expertise is a masterpiece for any level of interest on the Temple. I plan to use this book to introduce Jerusalem and Israel to those seeking deeper understanding of Biblical events as well as insight for current political events.brilliant and Beautiful! If you are fascinated by the Temple Mount and the history associated with it you will LOVE this wonderful volume. The graphics are superb. It is so gratifying to have Leen Ritmeyer and others who have done the very best work over the years working with Dr. Price on this volume. I can't say enough about the quality of the graphics and the clarity of the writing. This is a must have, even if your collection is only this book! I recommend it for any student of the New Testament period or anyone visiting Jerusalem, in fact for those who will never be able to visit. A wonderful book! The material in the book is good, but not as good as the Tabernacle.I purchased two copies of the Tabernacle, one copy of Bible Charts, Maps and Time Lines, and one copy of the Temple.The problem lies in the fact that almost all copies came with some damage to the end of the book cover, as if it had been dropped.i sent the one on the Temple back for replacement, and received a

4 replacement copy with end damage also.it appears that the books are boxed up by the publisher, and treated rough in transporting from one place to another.when purchased, they must just pack and ship without taking notice of end damage.the damage is not extreme, but this isn't a give away either.now, as to the material in the books,the Tabernacle is excellent, The Charts, Maps, and Timelines is excellent.the Temple, I didn't find great, just good to know information.if I had it to do again, I would purchase the Tabernacle, and Charts, Maps and Timelines.I don't think that you will find any better material on the subjects. Dr. Randall Price's "Rose Guide to the Temple" has made many aspects of the Bible and my Christian faith much clearer. Its photographs and diagrams are so detailed, yet easy to understand as well. Before reading this book, I did not know much about the Tabernacle, or any of the Temples. The "Rose Guide to the Temple," clearly shows the similarities and differences among them. Also, an in-depth history and context of each edifice are helpful in understanding their purposes. Dr. Price's book has helped me understand how holy God's dwelling place is, which I have been able to apply to my own life. The fact that God's presence was able to dwell in the Holy of Holies and only one priest could see Him on one day of the year or they would be destroyed is amazing.the understanding of the Temple I have gained from reading this book has also made the Bible make more sense to me. First, much of the Old Testament actually revolves around the building, destruction, and rebuilding of the Temple, which I am able to read and understand with so much more clarity now. It was such an important part of Jewish life because that was their connection with God before Christ came into the world. Also, the New Testament makes so many references to the Temple. Reading the book of Hebrews after knowing more about the Temple, opened my eyes to a completely new understanding. Hebrews was written to Jews who knew their history, and who knew the Temple. They even practiced these traditions themselves. When we understand what the people were going through who the book was written to, we can better understand the book itself. Hebrews makes the connections that Christ was the perfect sacrifice and that Christ is our High Priest. These assertions only make sense in the context of the Temple. Dr. Randall Price's "Rose Guide to the Temple" has helped me to visualize and better understand God's Holy Word. No way to express how EXCELLENT this book is. I can not believe I got all this Wisdom excellently packaged for $20! Listen, BUY THIS BOOK if you really want to UNDERSTAND. I see that Herods Temple AREA truly was HUGE. Jesus cleansing the Temple FINALLY makes sense. There was a place to sell and people were overstepping boundaries. I see how Jesus had so many people to

I'm writing a 4 book novel in the time period where Israel lost the Tabernacle (Philistines, DUH), the Ark stayed in Kiriath-jearim for 20 years then brought to Jerusalem where GOD allowed Solomon to build the Temple to house it.this is a great resource to familiarize the reader with the process, the use of the ark, etc. This is the most informative book on the Temple that I have found! It has great pictures and is divided up into time periods such as Adam & Eve prior the the tabernacle, then the Tabernacle and the Temple. So much great information that I bought several others to give as Christmas presents and gifts. Anyone interested in learning about the Jewish feasts & their meanings, purposes of the all those sacrifices, purpose and meaning behind each item in the Tabernacle and the Temple and how it r/t Christ and in fact is some representation of Christ, Beautiful fold out map in front of the Temple in Jesus time and where exactly the Muslim dome was placed over the old Temple site, plastic cut-aways so you can see what the outside of the Temple looked like, then a second layer which would be inside the Temple. Absolutely beautiful pictures with lots of Scripture references and many time lines. Highly recommend this book to add to any library! I use mine all the time and consider it invaluable!
