Read the passage below and then answer questions 1-9. MY DREAM COMES TRUE by Simon Carter Every year I go camping near Lake George. I love sailing on the lake and I have always dreamed about saving enough money to buy a boat. Last summer my dream came true. Here is how it happened I was driving to the lake and I stopped at a gas station. Suddenly, a gray cat jumped into my car. The cat had a red ribbon around her neck so I was sure she belonged to someone. I was in a hurry to get to the lake, but I decided to try to find the owner of the cat. I drove to the nearby town and started walking around. Suddenly I saw a notice in a grocery store window: "Reward for Finding Tibby." There was a photograph of a cat that looked just like the cat sitting in my car! I started copying the owner's address when a man standing next to me laughed. "Don't expect a reward," he said. "That's Mr. Parker's address. He never spends any money!" However, I did go to Mr. Parker's house. He was very happy to have his cat back because he lived all alone and Tibby was like family to him. He said he had looked for Tibby everywhere, but without success. Before I left, he gave me an envelope. Imagine my surprise when I opened it and found $500! At first I wasn't sure if I should take the money, but Mr. Parker insisted. I used the money to buy a boat and named it "Tibby" in honor of the cat that helped my dream come true.
