Pastor Scott Velain Genesis Chapter 6 Giants Last week as we ventured into Genesis chapter 6, we talked about some very astounding things, and I dare say that we will continue to talk about these very astonishing things during this Bible study as well. And so, with that being said, I would like to remind us all before we get started here today, that condemnation, without investigation is a man s folly and shame according to what we find in the Scriptures. Let s turn to Proverbs: 18:13: Pro 18:13 If one gives an answer before he hears, it is his folly and shame. What we need to realize before moving forward, is that nothing matters, except the truth. If we re not interested in the truth, we might as well take our Bibles and pitch them into the trash can. Because if there is no truth in our Bibles, then those 66 books that make up our Bibles, are nothing but trash. If our Scriptures do not tell us the truth, then they are worthless. And what we need to realize before we move on into the second part of our study into Genesis chapter 6, is that there are people out there in the world today, who want nothing more than for you and I and our children to believe, that our Scriptures are full of children s fables, and legends, and myths and fairy dust. And the reason that they want us to believe that our Bibles are full of children s fables, and legends, myths, and fairy dust Is because they know, that once they get us to turn away from our God breathed Scriptures They themselves, can begin to take control over us and our children. Once they have tricked us into turning away from the truth of our God breathed Scripture, and once they get us to start trusting them, instead of our God breathed scripture They themselves have essentially become our God s, and they know it. And this has always been the unfolding plan of our adversary from the very beginning. Take into consideration what is written in Danial chapter 7 Dan 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. Once again, we see here the perfectly laid out plan of our adversary to wear out the saints by telling them lies, and things that go directly against what our God breathed scripture says, and to change the times and the laws of our God breathed scriptures in order to take control over not just us but the world in general, and this day is fast approaching my friends. 1

Once we trade what our God breathed Scriptures tell us, for what today s modern-day Bible commentators, and their so called 4 th century Early Church fathers say, and their human opinions, and their doctrines, and their theologies we have essentially traded the wisdom of God for the wisdom of men. And so, I want us to keep these things in mind as we once again read through the first few verses of Genesis chapter 6. But before we do that I want us to understand that how we perceive Genesis chapter 6 verses one through six, will dictate our understanding of the whole rest of the Bible. How we perceive, and understand the truth of Genesis chapter 6, will dictate how much we do, or do not know, about our father in heaven. We must remember that our Father in Heaven wants to be worshiped in two ways. Let s read John 4:23-24: Joh 4:23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. Joh 4:24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." For most of us who have already read through the scriptures, there has always been a problem lurking in the back of our minds. Our Father in Heaven told the early Israelite s to utterly destroy the nations of the Hittites, the Girgashites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. Let s read 1 st Samuel 15:3: 1Sa 15:3 Now go and strike Amalek and devote to destruction all that they have. Do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.'" So, when we come across these kinds of scriptures, the question then begs is our Father in Heaven a tyrant that murders women and little children and innocent animals for no good reason? Is our Father in Heaven so full of hate that he can actually erase whole nations of mankind for no good reason? Certainly, our father in heaven has the right to destroy anything that he has created by his own hand. He is the potter, and we are the clay. But I would submit to you my friends that if we have drawn close to our Father in Heaven had all We would already know what is written about him in second Peter 3:9: 2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. And so, if our father in heaven is slow to anger, and if he is patient towards us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance Then we must understand that when he told the Israelites to go in and to make war with some of these other nations, and to kill all the women, and the children, and even all of the livestock We must trust, that he had a good reason to do so. And I would submit to you my friends, that he clearly tells us what that reason is, in Genesis chapter 6. With that in mind Let s reread Genesis 6 1:4: Gen 6:1 When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, Gen 6:2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their 2

wives any they chose. Gen 6:3 Then the LORD said, "My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years." Gen 6:4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown. Now as we read through Genesis chapter 6 verses one through four, it s important to understand the actual Hebrew words for things like sons of God and Nephilim and the Hebrew word for mighty men. And so, I d like us to take a look at the King James version of our Bibles, and I would like us to just make note of how those British translators translated Genesis chapter 6 verses one through four. They chose a little different wording, that I think may help us to better understand this scripture. Gen 6:1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, Gen 6:2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. Gen 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. Gen 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. As you can see I ve highlighted several groups of words within the Scripture that are tectonically important for us to understand. We must clearly understand the Hebrew definitions of these words if we are going to properly grasp what we are being told in these first four versus. First of all, let s take a look at the term sons of God. In the Hebrew, sons of God translate as the bane Elohim. Now the term bene Elohim is used in our Scripture to describe both man, and spiritual entities. Let s turn to Galatians 3:25-28: Gal 3:25 But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian, Gal 3:26 for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. Gal 3:27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And so, here in the book of Galatians we find that Paul tells us that we are all sons of God also known as Bene Elohim through faith, and that if we have been baptized into the Messiah, and if we put on the Messiah, then we are all one in the Messiah. So, we must be clear about what makes us sons of God? Were we sons of God from birth? Are we sons of God 3

because we say so? Are we sons of God because we were the first thing that God created? What causes us to be or become sons of God? The answer can clearly be found in Luke 20:34-36: Luk 20:34 And Jesus said to them, "The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage, Luk 20:35 but those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and to the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage, Luk 20:36 for they cannot die anymore, because they are equal to angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection. So, what our Messiah is clearly telling us here in verse 36, is that until we have shed this mortal body of flesh, and are considered worthy to put on our spiritual bodies We are not equal to the Angels, and therefore we are not sons of God in the way that the Angels are. So, in other words, we are not sons of God like the Angels are Until we are born again in the spirit. Let s turn to John 1:12-13: Joh 1:12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, Joh 1:13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. You see according to Luke chapter 20 verse 36, the Angels are the original sons of God. We cannot become equal to the Angels and be sons of God until we are born again in the spirit. So according to Scripture, and Scripture alone, who were the original sons of God? The original sons of God are indeed the Angels, according to the Scripture. The majority of commentaries that you will find on Genesis chapter 6 will try to convince us that the sons of God found in Genesis chapter 6, are actually the bloodline of Cain. This belief is referred to as the Sethite View. But I would contend that we are not told this anywhere in the Scripture. They will wrongly try to convince us that the sons of God are the line of Cain who was the evil brother that killed his brother Abel. And they believe that the line of Seth is the good human bloodline. Even though none of this is corroborated with what we find in the scripture anywhere. So, what the fourth century Bible commentators, and their so called Early Church Fathers, would have us all believe, is that Cain is the evil bloodline of man, and that it was the evil offspring of Cain that took the daughters of men who they thought were attractive, and became these Nephilim Giants. And that Seth was the good bloodline of man, and that this is what Genesis chapter 6 is talking about. But I would contend my friends that this is indeed the epitome of adding to, and taking away from, God s word. And we re going to prove that out through the Scriptures as we move forward here in this study. 4

So, before we go any farther I might just once again reiterate the fact that the Scripture does not tell us any such thing about the bloodline of Cain. We are never told that Cain was a giant, or that he was a Nephilim, or that he was a mighty man, also known as a Gibor. And we ll also hear from someone else who is well educated in these matters as we move forward but, before we get too far ahead of ourselves I want to go back and explain some of these other Hebrew definitions so that we can better understand exactly what we re being told in Genesis chapter 6. We already know that the sons of God were originally Angels. And we can clearly see that in the early Scriptures like the book of Job. Most biblical scholars will agree, that the book of Job is one of the very oldest books of the Bible. And so, I think it s important that we understand who the sons of God were according to one of the oldest books of the Bible. And so, just in case you missed it last week, I want us to turn back to the book of Job 1:6: Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them. Job 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them to present himself before the LORD. Job 38:4 "Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding. Job 38:5 Who determined its measurements surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? Job 38:6 On what were its bases sunk, or who laid its cornerstone, Job 38:7 when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy? Clearly man was not around when God created the Earth. Man was not created until after the earth was created according to the scripture, and therefore could not have been the sons of God who shouted for joy when God created the earth. And so, let there be no doubt my friends, just as we are told in the book of Luke chapter 20 verse 36 The original sons of God also known as the Bene Elohim were indeed his Angels. And man is not equal to the Angels, nor is he able to be called a son of God until he is born again in both the spirit and the water. It is only through faith in our Messiah, that our Messiah gives us the right to become the sons of God, according to the Scripture, and the Scripture alone. So now that we have that knowledge under her belts I want us to turn to the next English word Nephilim. This word Nephilim is translated as giant in the King James version of our English translated Bibles. So, in Genesis chapter 6 verse four we find the word Nephilim in the English standard version, and we find the word Giants in the King James version. But what we need to be concerned about is, what was the original Hebrew word, and what did it 5

actually mean? According to Brown driver Briggs Hebrew definitions, the word Nephilim or Giants is translated from the Hebrew word Nephil which means Giants. Nephil can also be translated to fall or fallen. So, what is it that chapter 6 of the book of Genesis is trying to tell us here? I think the King James version says it best in Genesis chapter 6 verse four: Gen 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. According to our God breathed Scriptures, there were Giants in the earth in those days. And not only were their Giants on the earth in those days There were also Giants on the earth after that. After what? We ll come back to that. So, if the Bible is true and correct, as we claim that it is We should then be able to prove that these Giants also known as the Nephilim did indeed exist. Now I want us to stop right here and think about this for just a moment. According to man s theory called evolution there is no real mention of Giants found anywhere is there? In fact, the only mention of giants that seem to be found according to today s modern day unfounded new religion of evolution, are those of children s fables, and legends, and myths. That is Unless you are seeking truth. Another interesting term that we may want to pay attention to found in Genesis chapter 6 verse four is the term mighty men. Genesis 6:4: Gen 6:4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men and who were of old, the men of renown. Hebrew word for mighty men is the Hebrew word gibbor, which can also (according to Strongs) mean giant, man. And so, I think it should be fairly clear to us that between the words Nephilim, Giants, and mighty men which all refer to Giants, It should be clear to us that the Bible is true and accurate when it tells us that there were Giants on the earth in those days, and also after that (meaning after the flood). The truth is my friends that the bones of Giants have been found on every continent on earth. Now at the end of last weeks study, I promised to introduce you to some men who have studied 6

the idea that there were truly giants that walked the earth according to the Bible, and so I want to keep my promise and introduce you to just a few men who are able to show you the evidence that an actual expedition concerning these things has uncovered. A man who has been investigating and documenting the truth about these antediluvian giants is a man by the name of Steve Quayle, and this man along with two other highly educated men by the names of Timothy Alberino, and Dr. Tom Horn have been investigating these things for the past 40 years, and actually have created a documentary for anyone interested in the truth concerning what the scriptures tell us about these giants. Our father in heaven made it very clear that he did not want these other nations to continue to thrive and to multiply. And he also made it very clear that he did not want his chosen people to intermingle with these other nations, and that he did not want the bloodline of the house of Israel to be mixed with the blood of these other nations. Let s turn to Deuteronomy 7:1-6: Deu 7:1 "When the LORD your God brings you into the land that you are entering to take possession of it, and clears away many nations before you, the Hittites, the Girgashites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations more numerous and mightier than you, Deu 7:2 and when the LORD your God gives them over to you, and you defeat them, then you must devote them to complete destruction. You shall make no covenant with them and show no mercy to them. Deu 7:3 You shall not intermarry with them, giving your daughters to their sons or taking their daughters for your sons, Deu 7:4 for they would turn away your sons from following me, to serve other gods. Then the anger of the LORD would be kindled against you, and he would destroy you quickly. Deu 7:5 But thus shall you deal with them: you shall break down their altars and dash in pieces their pillars and chop down their Asherim and burn their carved images with fire. Deu 7:6 "For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for his treasured possession, out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth. Even to this very day, it is commanded that a believer should not mix themselves with an unbeliever. Those who have been born again both in the water and the spirit have no business intermingling with those who are not born again of both the water and spirit. 2 nd Corinthians 6:14-15: 2Co 6:14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 2Co 6:15 What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? 7

The idea that the Scripture in Genesis 6 points directly to Angels who did not stay within their own position of authority but left their proper dwelling is corroborated, and confirmed throughout the Scripture in places like the book of Jude 1:6-7: Jud 1:6 And the angels who did not stay within their own position of authority, but left their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains under gloomy darkness until the judgment of the great day Jud 1:7 just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire. We can find even more confirmation of the Genesis 6 account in 2 nd Peter 2:1-10: 2Pe 2:1 But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2Pe 2:2 And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. 2Pe 2:3 And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep. 2Pe 2:4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment; 2Pe 2:5 if he did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness, with seven others, when he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly; 2Pe 2:6 if by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes he condemned them to extinction, making them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; 2Pe 2:7 and if he rescued righteous Lot, greatly distressed by the sensual conduct of the wicked 2Pe 2:8 (for as that righteous man lived among them day after day, he was tormenting his righteous soul over their lawless deeds that he saw and heard); 2Pe 2:9 then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment, 2Pe 2:10 and especially those who indulge in the lust of defiling passion and despise authority. Bold and willful, they do not tremble as they blaspheme the glorious ones, 2Pe 2:11 whereas angels, though greater in might and power, do not pronounce a blasphemous judgment against them before the Lord. What we should also be aware of is that the occult is filled with sexual associations such as pedophelisim, homosexuality, and bestiality. Nothing has changed between the evil that we see in Adam and Eve s time and the evil that we see today. It is also written that our Messiah went to these angels who were bound in prison clear back in the days of Noah. Let s turn to first Peter 3:18-20: 8

1Pe 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit, 1Pe 3:19 in which he went and proclaimed to the spirits in prison, 1Pe 3:20 because they formerly did not obey, when God's patience waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through water. And even though we have all of this evidence, we still have some people who believe that angels could not have procreated with human women because of what we find in Matthew chapter 22 verse 30: Mat 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven. But I want us to notice here my friends, that our Messiah is talking about Angels that are faithful in verse 30, not Angels that have fallen and are disobedient to the things of God. Why did these Angels come down to the earth in the first place? Because they found the daughters of men attractive! And nowhere in the Scripture does it say that Angels are sexless. In fact, we find the Apostle Paul alluding to the fact that a woman should cover her head when she prays so as not to entice the Angels in first Corinthians 11:8-10: 1Co 11:8 For man was not made from woman, but woman from man. 1Co 11:9 Neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. 1Co 11:10 That is why a wife ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels. Something else very interesting to know and to understand is what we find in first Enoch. And even though the book of Enoch is no longer part of our biblical Canon We must remember that it was included in the King James version of the Bible for the first 270 years of its existence. And it is also quoted from by the Apostles in our Bibles. And so, whether we find the book of Enoch inspired or not. we can certainly find a very striking verse in first Enoch: And it came to pass that the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children [They] took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms and enchantments And they became pregnant, and they bare great giants And there arose much godlessness, and they committed fornication, and they were led astray, and became corrupt in all their ways. 9

Whether we trust in what the book of Enoch has to say or not, we must admit that these verses are striking. And we must also admit that the early church did indeed believe what the book of Enoch had to say, and that it is quoted from by the Apostles according to the scriptures. And it should be evident to us why Satan would want to try to pollute the genetic D&A of mankind with the corruption of his evil nature, and to use a genetic virus to make the human race unfit to bring forth the seed of the woman and the promised Messiah. Our Messiah could not have been born of a demon possessed mother. So, if Satan could succeed in infecting the entire human race, he could essentially stop the Messiah from coming. And we know because of the flood of Noah, that Satan almost succeeded in his plan, and this is why God found it necessary to start the human race over again with Noah who s generations were still pure according to Genesis 6:9. After ridding the world of the wicked blood line of these fallen angels, that was never intended to be a part of who man was supposed to be our Father jumpstarted mankind over again with Noah, and imprisoned the angels that did this, so that they could never do this again. Even though we do know that through the scripture, they did find a way to exist even after the flood. Now just in case I have not convinced you as of yet, that our God breathed scripture is true, and that it can and should be trusted over and above what any man might say I would like to introduce you to one more brother who may be able to shed even more light on this topic, but before I do, I want you to understand how I came across this brother in the first place. Whenever I put together a Bible study, I know that what I say must be true. It must be well researched, and understood, and above all it must be true, and that truth must be truly given to me by the Ruach Hakodesh of our Father in Heaven himself. 10

When I read the 6 th Chapter of the book of Genesis, I knew that what I was reading was true, and I knew that it had been given to me by our Father in Heaven himself. But no matter how hard I tried I could not find one Bible commentator to agree with me on the truth of what Genesis chapter 6 was clearly telling me until I had found men like Steve Quayle, and Timothy Alberino and Tom Horn and L.A. Marzulli who were men that actually put their money where their mouth was, and actually went to investigate the truth of Genesis chapter 6. But I also found that I was in good company with another brother who had just written a book called Reversing Hermon. And so, I d like to also introduce you to a man by the name of Dr. Michael S. Heiser. Now Dr. Michael Heiser holds a PHD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Department of Hebrew and Semitic Studies. He also holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA; Department of Ancient History; Major Areas: Ancient Egypt and Syria-Palestine (Israel). Now what I found interesting about this man is that he also was an Associate Professor of Bible, Pillsbury Baptist College, Owatonna, MN.where he taught Old Testament Survey, Bibliology, Contemporary Theology, Christian Ethics, Genesis, History of Israel, Theological Systems, Hermeneutics, Psalms, and Greek. Now I knew that this man had obviously had some ties to the Baptist church, because he had taught there at a Baptist College from 1992 to 1995, but what really made me sit up and take notice about him is what he wrote in his book Reversing Hermon on pages 14 and 15: Jewish tradition before the New Testament era overwhelmingly took a supernatural view of Genesis 6: 1 4. In other words, they were in line with 2 Peter and Jude. The interpretation of the passage, at least with respect to its supernatural orientation, was not an issue until the late fourth century A.D., when it fell out of favor with some influential church fathers, especially Augustine.[ 25] But biblical theology does not derive from the church fathers. It derives from the biblical text, framed in its own context. Dr. Michael S. Heiser Reversing Hermon pg

When I read this, I knew that this man was not about what today s modern-day version of Christianity was about. He knew full well that scripture is not confined to what some early church father believed or said. This man knows, that truth derives from the biblical text, framed in its own context. Dr Heiser also had something very interesting to say about the Sethite View that most of today s denominational charters of men have concerning Genesis chapter 6. He says this about the Sethite View : The Sethite view of Genesis 6: 1 4 is deeply flawed. First, Genesis 4: 26 never states that the only people who called on the name of the Lord were men from Seth s lineage. That idea is imposed on the text. Second, as we ll see in the next chapter, the view fails miserably in explaining the Nephilim. Third, the text never calls the women in the episode daughters of Cain. Rather, they are daughters of humankind. There is no actual link in the text to Cain. This means that the Sethite view of the text is supported by something not present in the text, which is the very antithesis of exegesis. Fourth, there is no command in the text regarding marriages or any prohibition against marrying certain persons. There are no Jews and Gentiles at this time.[ 17] Fifth, nothing in Genesis 6: 1 4 or anywhere else in the Bible identifies people who come from Seth s lineage with the descriptive phrase sons of God. That connection is purely an assumption through which the story is filtered by those who hold the Sethite view. Dr. Michael S. Heiser Reversing Hermon: Pages

And so once again my friends the idea that the sons of God were humans in the bloodline of Cain is just as we said earlier adding too, and taking away from Gods word. Let there be no doubt in any Christians mind who the sons of God were in Genesis chapter 6. They were indeed the Giants of fallen Angles, just as we re told in Genesis chapter 6:1-4, 2 nd Peter 2:1-10, and Jude 1:5-7, and just as we re told by the Apostle Paul in Romans 3:4 Let God be true and every man a liar, as it is written, "That you may be justified in your words, and prevail when you are judged." Moving forward When our Father said that man s days shall be 120 years he was not saying that man s life span would only be 120 years it was 120 years after he said that that the flood came to wipe man off the face of the earth. They all mocked our Father in Heaven just like many are doing today. They all thought that they were going to serve the little g god of this world just like many are doing today. They all danced with the Devil in the pail moon light until the lights went out when they least expected it. Matthew 24:37-39: Mat 24:37 For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Mat 24:38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, Mat 24:39 and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. And we can see in Genesis chapter 6 verses 5-8, that the wickedness of man had grown beyond what our Father was going to allow. But, because Noah had found grace in the eyes of our Father, and because Noah s generations were still pure, and had not been tainted with the seed of Satan, or his Nephilim God restarted mankind with the seed of Noah. 13

KJV Gen 6:9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. What s important for us to understand is that man does indeed have the ability to greave our Fathers heart. We have the ability to effect a change in the heart of our Father in Heaven because he does indeed love us so much so, that he did indeed give his only begotten Son, so that we might live, and through him overcome and even concore the evil of the flesh that we were born into. We re told that every intent of the thoughts of man s heart were only evil continually, and our Messiah tells us in Matthew chapter 24 that in the end times things would be as in the days of Noah, which means that in these last days, every intent of the thoughts of men s hearts will become evil continually. This accounts a great deal for what we are now seeing in our time. Good has become evil, and evil is now the new good. So just to recap what have we seen so far in Genesis chapter 6? An exploding population in Genesis 6:1, sexual perversion in Geneses 6:2, along with a good measure of demonic activity. Constant evil in the heart of man in Genesis 6:5, and widespread corruption and violence in Genesis 6:11. All of this leads us to Genesis 6:12: Gen 6:12 And God saw the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth. And this is what ultimately lead to the great flood of Noah s time. What to many would be modern-day Christians do not understand is that his mercy and his grace will not be on the table forever. The day will come when the mercy and the grace of our Father in Heaven and his only begotten Son will be taken off the table. Once that trumpet sounds, and the dead are raised to the first resurrection it s over. Times up. You ve either taken his gift of salvation off the table or he s taken it off the table for you. None of us are promised another day. Not one more minute are we promised here on this earth. But it is here on this earth that we must make that decision. It is during the short time that we have here on this earth that we must decide. We re going to serve somebody. It s either going to be the one true God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, or it s going to be the little g god of this world but we re going to serve somebody. If we re not serving our Father in Heaven then we are indeed serving the little g god of this world. We re either part of the solution or we re part of the problem. And if we re neither hot nor cold he will spew us out of his mouth. And before we close out this part of our study into Genesis chapter 6, I ll leave you once again with 2 nd Peter 3:9: 2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient 14

toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. STREAM KEY: k0sk-r4ca-8cy0-3g1k 15
