Understanding God s Strategy Victory only arises when one fully understands temptation and wholly depends upon the Lord's means for deliverance. Grasping God s Good Purposes God s full favor is found only when one both understands and diligently seeks God s complete purposes.

That is all good and fine, but our perspective is more than often shaped by our tendency to care for ourselves. What might be okay for us still leaves God s duty of making disciples around the world lacking.

13 Bible Preparation Method Familiarize your self with the Bible book-outline, theme. Read the Bible passage several times so that you know the general content. Summarize what happened or what it says. Use brief outline to clarify the progression of thought. These will become major points. Enter into meditative prayer asking the Lord what He wants to say through this passage. Jot down notes. Keep context n mind. Identify and write down the most significant timeless principle (truths) for each major section. Review the passage s context in light of whole book. Write down at least one title for the passage consistent with the book theme. Rewrite the section principles to match the title. Make sure the scriptures dictate what you say. Write down at least one application for each major point. Commit the message to the Lord in prayer. Pray for the people. Finish with review, illustrations and smoothing transitions.
