3 The training is based on the ISCC Basic training. 4 The ISCC training is based on a Train-the-trainer concept ISCC trains eligible external parties (Master trainer). They will train the CENTRAL OFFICE training professionals. After successful participation, Central office trainers are authorized to train INDEPENDENT SMALLHOLDERS. Organization and responsibilities of ISH and CO under ISCC ISH group certification, Traceability criteria for CO ( ISH organization ) 4. Documentation and verification of CO and ISH ( Relevant documents ) Training materials for ISH with 3 presentations covering: 1. ISCC introduction ( ISCC Who We are, What We do and Why to join the System ) 2. Specific requirements for ISH and type of verification ( ISCC requirements ) 3. Responsibilities and verification of ISH ( How to get ISCC-certified ) 6

7 The master trainer is trained by an ISCC official. The training for master trainer consists of 4 modules in English and Bahasa ISCC 1. Introduction into sustainability and ISCC certification 2. ISCC sustainability requirements 3. ISH Organization 4. Relevant documents Training Master Trainer 1 st level training of registering entity covers all requirements and framework conditions 7

8 The master trainer, who visited the ISCC training for ISH, trains all Central Offices Master Trainer 1. Introduction into sustainability and ISCC certification 2. ISCC sustainability requirements for Central Offices and ISH 3. ISH Organization for Central Offices and ISH 4. Relevant documents for Central Offices and ISH Training Central Office 2 nd level training of Central Office by registering entity. Certain training contents might become irrelevant 8

9 The CO organizes the training for ISH. Only relevant information and requirements will be included in the presentations for ISH Central Office 1. Introduction into sustainability and ISCC certification 2. ISCC sustainability requirements to be fulfilled by ISH and relevant documents 3. ISCC Organization for ISH Training ISH ISH ISH 3 rd level training for ISH. Only relevant information is transferred to ISH 9

12 In future a scorecard shall be installed for identifying gaps and enabling customized and focused ISH training Baselining of status of ISH prior to any training activities ( Scorecard ) Status of knowledge regarding different sustainability aspects is determined via questionnaire G A P Training needs after first assessment G A P Gaps are identified Based on baseline, ISH training is personalized and will focus on specific smallholder needs Scorecard will also help to monitor the continuous improvement of ISH performance Throughout time, content of training can become more specialized 12

13 ISCC is anticipating a continuous process, whereby the level of expertise of the ISH shall be raised and the training shall evolve Expertise of ISH rises 2. Specialized training 1. Scorecard Training content will be adapted to specific needs of ISH 13

15 The CB training is independent from the train-the-trainer concept. The content is similar but focuses on verification ISCC trains external auditors of certification bodies.
