1 Devarim Deuteronomy (Deuteronomio) 1:1-3:22 These [are] the words which Moses spoke to all Israel on this side of the Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain opposite Suph

3 Matthew (Mateo) 3:16-17 When he had been mikvahed, Yeshua came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of Elohim descending like a dove and alighting upon him. And suddenly a voice [came] from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

4 Matthew (Mateo) 13:18-19 "Therefore hear the parable of the sower: When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand [it], then the wicked [one] comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. (Birds)

5 Deuteronomy (Deuteronomio) 1:21 Look, YHVH your Elohim has set the land before you; go up [and] possess [it], as YHVH Elohim of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged.

6 Deuteronomy (Deuteronomio) 1:22 "And every one of you came near to me and said, 'Let us send men before us, and let them search out the land for us, and bring back word to us of the way by which we should go up, and of the cities into which we shall come.

7 Deuteronomy (Deuteronomio) 1:28 'Where can we go up? Our brethren have discouraged (melted) our hearts, saying, "The people [are] greater and taller than we; the cities [are] great and fortified up to heaven; moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakim there.

8 Deuteronomy (Deuteronomio) 1:29-31 "Then I said to you, 'Do not be terrified, or afraid of them. YHVH your Elohim, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes, and in the wilderness where you saw how YHVH your Elohim carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until you came to this place.

9 Deuteronomy (Deuteronomio) 1:32 "Yet, for all that, you did not believe (trust) YHVH your Elohim. (Abraham- Consequences??- Carried, like a son)

11 Matthew (Mateo) 4:1-2 Then Yeshua was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward he was hungry.

12 Now when the tempter came to him, he said, "If you are the Son of Elohim, command that these stones become bread." But he answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of Elohim. (Dt. 8:3) (Prove or believe, Made hungry to teach, Whose the Master?- His/Our

13 Matthew (Mateo) 4:5-6 Then the devil took him up into the holy city, set him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to him, "If you are the Son of Elohim, throw yourself down. For it is written: 'He shall give His angels charge over you,' and, 'In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone. (Ps. 91:11-12)

14 Psalm (Salmos) 91:1-2 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of YHVH, "[He is] my refuge and my fortress; my Elohim, in Him I will trust."

15 Psalm (Salmos) 91:3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler [and] from the perilous pestilence.

16 Psalm (Salmos) 91:4-5 He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth [shall be your] shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, [Nor] of the arrow [that] flies by day,

17 Psalm (Salmos) 91:9-10 Because you have made YHVH, [who is] my refuge, the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling. (Completely given into hands of Hasatan)

18 Psalm (Salmos) 91:11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. (Keep you in His Will- Prepare the Lamb)

19 Psalm (Salmos) 91:14 Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name (authority). (Obedient Son given to deliver the others)

20 Psalm (Salmos) 91:15-16 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation (Yeshua). (He is Yah s Yeshua and deliverance)

22 Matthew (Mateo) 4:5-6 Yeshua said to him, "It is written again, 'You shall not tempt YHVH your Elohim. (Dt 6:16) (Ignores Yah s will/timing and plan/role for us-messiah comes from Heaven to temple?)

23 Matthew (Mateo) 4:8-9 Again, the devil took him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to him, "All these things I will give you if you will fall down and worship/serve me. (You buying what I m selling? Choose you this day whom you will serve?)

24 Matthew (Mateo) 4:10-11 Then Yeshua said to him, "Away with you, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship YHVH your Elohim, and Him only you shall serve/worship. (Dt. 6:13) Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and ministered to him. (Implications?)

25 Review Yah gives us a seed/word Hasatan comes to test us Do we believe/trust??? Can we wait??? If we give up the word, there are consequences If we hold on, He will deliver us for His glory!!

26 Thoughts to ponder What scriptures did Messiah use against Hasatan? Dt. 6:13, 6:16, 8:3 Torah- Same portions (time of year?) or chapters to study for subject? Messiah = Father- Why test self? Who does Messiah have to choose to serve? Hasatan an idiot and given power to kill Father???

27 If you are the Son? Turn these stones to bread Jump off the pinnacle of the temple now, Yah is protecting you (prove it now) Look at what Hasatan can offer you now Fall before him, Serve/worship him, then you don t have to go through with Yah s will, pain/suffering, learning/growing, discipline
