When he hesitated, the men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and of his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the Lord was merciful to them. 6 Riddle # 2 Money-Making Plot Who The Riddle A group of conspirators planned a murder. Although they did not kill the man, they got rid of him and even made money from doing so. Who was gotten rid of but not killed? The CluesIt happened in the land of Canaan. The Solution Joseph So when the Midianite merchants came by, his brothers pulled Joseph up out of the cistern and sold him for twenty shekels of silver to the Ishmaelites, who took him to Egypt. Genesis 37:28 The conspirators were related to the victim. Here comes that dreamer, the conspirators said when they saw their victim approach. The victim was sold as a slave.
