Who else had this same sin? b) What insight can you gain regarding our example as parents when we don t surrender our weaknesses to God? 3. How can we tell that Isaac repented of his distrust of God? (26:12-14) January 12 Genesis 26:17-27: Name the people who did not trust God in this event, how they sinned & what were their consequences? January 13 Genesis Compare Isaac s blessing to Jacob as he leaves (28:2-5), with God s renewal of His covenant with Jacob as Abraham s descendant (28:10-15). 2. In chapter 29, where do you see Jacob reaping what he had previously sown, in regards to his sin of deceitfulness?
