2 Juanita Moon Retired Birthday October Patriot Hts Apt 2316 Born in LaJunta, CO Colorado Springs, CO I accepted the Lord when I was 4 years old at a little Plum Valley Nazarene Church. I was later sanctified while in High School in LaJunta. I met Bill at Pasadena College. We transferred to NNC. I graduated in 1950 from Samaritan Hospital and NBC with a BSN degree. Bill and I plus two kids, Beverly and Mike left Colorado District in 1956 to go to language study in Lisbon. We were assigned to Mozambique. Due to Visa restrictions and then the war for independence, we were never given residence visas for Mozambique. We were reassigned to Swaziland. Bill was a school s administrator and I was a clinic nurse. (Away from the main RFM hospital) Our last term we were reassigned to Mozambique and commuted from Swaziland. We retired in 1988 and worked 12 years in the bookstore at NBC. Bill passed away December 20, I currently live in a retirement community, Village at Skyline. Colorado District NMI has always been supportive. I am thrilled to be assigned as a LINKS Missionary. Prayer: (1) To follow Christ and daily be what he wants me to be. (2) For my family to follow Christ. Bev and Mike each have 2 adult daughters. Mike and Val, both retired teachers, have been volunteering in Honduras. They also live in North Carolina and are seeking God s direction for the future. Mike & Val s elder daughter, Jennifer, is a RN and expecting their first January 1 st and lives in Pennsylvania. Lindsay is a Property Manager living in Denver. Bev and Jay live in North Carolina. He is a retired professor from North Carolina State. They have two daughters. Kristin just graduated as a pharmacist. Caitlin is doing graduate work in science and has lost her heart to China. I rejoice and cherish memories of Africa and stand amazed to see how He continues to build His church. It is rewarding to know we had a wee part in it. 3 Stephane & Sandra Tibi - Africa Stephane Born in France Ordained: 2011 by Kansas City district Sandra Born in Switzerland General Information Home District: Kansas City Home Church: Kansas City First Summary of Service Record 2007 to Present Reunion 2006 to 2006 Uganda Home Assignment Dates Aug 1, 2015 to Feb 28, 2016 Stephane and Sandra Tibi Biography Stéphane and Sandra are assigned intern missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene. They are assigned to the Africa French Equatorial Field. They currently live and serve in Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean. Stéphane is French and Sandra is Swiss with a Lebanese mother. They met in Fribourg, Switzerland, where Stéphane was studying Theology, and Sandra Law. They found a common ground in their beginning faith, and in some of their Mediterranean roots. They married in their college town in May The Tibis spent their first wedding years in Kansas City, where they became Nazarenes at their actual home church, Kansas City First Church of the Nazarene. Their mother tongue is French. Stéphane grew up in a suburb of Paris, France. He is a graduate from Ecole des Mines de Paris with a master s degree in science and executive engineering (1993). He also has a master s degree in religious studies from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland (2003) and a Master of Divinity from the Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO (2006). He was a teaching assistant in church history and Old Testament at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, and a Hebrew instructor at the Nazarene Theological Seminary. One characteristic of Stéphane is that he likes to develop graphic tools as helps for teaching students.

4 Sandra grew up in several Arab speaking countries. She came back to Switzerland, her home country, at age 16. She holds a federal certificate from the Professional School of Business, Fribourg, Switzerland and a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Fribourg. Stéphane, although coming from an atheistic background, was first touched by the gospel after viewing the movie The Mission that showed the missionary works in South America. Deeply moved by what he saw, he was led to buy his first Bible and opened his heart to the Lord. Sandra grew up in a catholic home. She gave her heart to the Lord during her college years. As he and Sandra were praying about future steps after Seminary, they got a call from the World Mission Department asking them to consider becoming missionaries to Rwanda, a French-speaking country in Africa. Through prayer, they received confirmation that this was the Lord s direction and that He was calling them to step out and be a light of the Gospel. The Tibis lived in Kampala, Uganda, a neighbor country to Rwanda, for two years. They moved end of March 2009 to Reunion Island, which is still part of the Africa French Equatorial Field. They are thankful for serving the Lord alongside their brothers and sisters in the Messiah in Africa and developing new ways (through tools called 'StudyMaps') to train people to know better the Word of God.

5 Andrew & Gina Pottenger Eurasia Background Andrew and Gina Pottenger are from Colorado Springs, Colorado. Gina s father served as senior pastor of Springs First Church of the Nazarene for 19 years, and Andrew s parents are long-time members of the Nazarene church. Gina earned a bachelor s degree in English Literature at Northwest Nazarene University. She has since worked at two city newspapers as a reporter, served as publicity coordinator for the JESUS Film Harvest Partners ministry, and as managing editor of Engage magazine for Nazarene Global Mission since Andrew earned a bachelor s degree in Religion from MidAmerica Nazarene University, and a master s degree in Theological Studies from Nazarene Theological Seminary. He is continuing his education, working toward a PhD in Church History from the University of Manchester in partnership with Nazarene Theological College in Great Britain. Missionary Service: We followed God s leading to apply with Nazarene Mission Corps in In early 2010 we were matched with two opportunities in Büsingen, Germany: while continuing her full-time work with Engagemagazine.com, Gina serves part- time with Eurasia Communications by writing and editing the weekly Snapshot and the monthly newsletter, Where Worlds Meet; Andrew joined European Nazarene College as librarian and instructor. Since EuNC closed its residential program in 2011, Andrew continued teaching for various EuNC learning centers. He currently spends most of his time pursuing his education and serving the local Nazarene church in Büsingen as an assistant to the pastor, frequent guest preacher, and church board member. Gina became a special assignment missionary in February 1, Andrew has continued on a Mission Corp volunteer contract. As missionaries on the border of Switzerland and Germany, we are privileged to serve both the Nazarene church and the village community where we live. Gina teaches English once a week to people from the surrounding villages, through our local Nazarene church s English class ministry. We are building relationships with other Swiss and German couples by meeting for meals in their homes and ours. Currently we are taking intensive German language courses and we are developing relationships with our fellow classmates there, as well. 7 Mann, Doug and Jennifer Biography Doug was born in Washington, DC and now considers Boston, the home of much of his family, his home away from the field. Jen was born in Dundee, Scotland. She would consider home away from the field to be a small town called High Wycombe, just outside of London where her parents live. Nevertheless, the more that we are on the field the more abstract the term home becomes! We met in Germany at a Youth Conference in December of 2001 when Doug was working in Romania and Jen was studying nursing at Nottingham University, England. We were married in July of 2003 in Salisbury, England. In October of 2006, our son Jonathan Edward was born in Lima, Peru. In October of 2008, our daughter Sarah Elizabeth was born in London, England. Then in December of 2010, our little surprise was born, James William, in Prishtina, Kosovo. Yes, we are a truly international family with 10 passports between the five of us. Our dog, 6 year old peruvian born Londy the boxer, is a worldwide travelling dog and is still by our side 4 countries later! In our 8 years of missions work, we have lived in Lima, Peru; Tirana, Albania; Prishtina, Kosovo and now we are making the move to Sofia, Bulgaria. Our work in Albania and Kosovo mainly consisted of leadership support and development and friendship evangelism. You could say we spent a lot of time drinking coffee! Doug also administered the Theological Education learning center whilst Jen joined the national students in taking the classes. We invested a lot also in the international community through MOPS and contacts made through Jonathan s school. We made many friends and a portion of our hearts will remain in Kosovo forever. Before arriving in Albania in July 2008, we were assigned to Peru to work within the Peruvian Field Office. Doug assisted the field director, Segundo Rimarachin, who is the first Peruvian to be in leadership over the field. He worked in many different areas from speaking and teaching, to office administration and field finances. Jen was the Child Sponsorship Coordinator, working with over 300 children and their sponsors. We also hosted many people who travelled through Lima for Work and Witness teams, Field visits and personal travel in what we affectionately termed The Mann Motel. Our current assignment takes us to Sofia, Bulgaria. We are working with the existing Missionary and Bulgarian leadership team to work towards nationalizing the leadership of church efforts there in Bulgaria. We are excited with the challenge as there was nothing as exciting in Peru as handing over the church to the nationals and watching the church grow and blossom under their direction. As with most assignments, we will be involved in many different areas of work from education through compassionate and outreach efforts. We are very excited
