The Father & the Son Seen in Judah the Kinsman Redeemer אריאל By Maria Merola Copyright Double Portion Inheritance, August Did it ever occur to you that the term Heavenly Father is never once mentioned in the TaNaKh (Old Testament)? The term Heavenly Father is only mentioned in the Briyth Chadashah (New Testament). Did you ever wonder why that is the case? Well, in the TaNaKh (Old Testament) our creator is referred to by his one true name YaHuWaH which encompasses the role of the Father, but the role of the Son is the nation of Yisra el. In the TaNaKh we see that YaHuWaH calls himself a father to Yisra el and he says that Yisra el is his son. Shemoth (Exodus) 4:22 And you shall say unto Pharaoh, Thus says YHWH Yisra el is my son, even my firstborn: Yirmeyahuw (Jeremiah) 31:9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Yisra el, and Ephrayim is my firstborn. In the first chapter of the gospel of John, we begin to see a picture of the relationship between YaHuWaH as Heavenly Father and his only begotten son, the Mashiyach (Messiah) who came as a representation of the entire nation of Yisra el. In other words, YaHuWaH himself took the place of Yisra el his Son! The definition for the word scapegoat is the innocent party who takes the blame for the guilty party. The nation of Yisra el, (the Son) was the guilty party, but the Father put on human flesh and became the Son (Yisra el) by trading places with him! 2

We see a perfect picture of this concept of the Father taking the place of his Son as the kinsman redeemer in the story of Judah & Tamar in Genesis 38. Judah was not only the Father of three sons (Er, Onan & Shelah), but he was also the Son of Jacob, and also the brother of the sons of Yisra el. We are going to see that Judah, the kinsman redeemer fulfilled all three roles at the same time. Likewise, our Creator, YaHuWaH (like Judah) fulfilled the role of the Father of Yisra el in the TaNaKh (Old Testament), but he also fulfilled the role of the Son of Yisra el in the Briyth Chadashah (New Testament) and he also fulfilled the role of the older brother in the story of the prodigal son (Luke 15) as he was obedient to his father. But then he also fulfilled the role of the younger brother in story of the prodigal son, because he left his father s house in order to go reach the lost sheep in the nations, only to return to his father s house again and receive the double portion inheritance! Before we read Genesis 38, let me digress for a moment and explain the role of the kinsman redeemer. First of all we see in the Towrah, a provision made for a poor Yisra elite who has had to sell all that he owns (particularly land that he inherited) A close relative who is much better off financially may come and buy back the land that was sold and restore it to his poor relative. The nearest kinsman or kinsman redeemer is a Ga al in Hebrew and it means to redeem, receive or buy back. Wayyikra (Leviticus) 25: 24 And in all the land of your possession you shall grant a redemption for the land. 25 If your brother be waxen poor, and has sold away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold. 3

In the Towrah, in Deuteronomy 25:5-6, it says that if a woman becomes a widow, without bearing a son to carry on the name of her dead husband, then the brother (or close relative) of her dead husband could perform the duty of a kinsman redeemer by marrying the woman. The kinsman redeemer would then impregnate her with a son thereby redeeming her inheritance and their son would carry on the name of the widow s husband. This happened to Naomi the mother-in-law of Ruth. Naomi became a widow and she lost her land and her inheritance because of her husband and sons who died leaving her a widow. But her widowed daughter-in-law Ruth married Boaz who was a close relative of Naomi. Boaz is a prophetic type of Mashiyach and Naomi is a prophetic picture of the nation of Yisra el. Boaz married Ruth and thus he redeemed the land of Naomi back to her (Ruth 4:1-15). Boaz is also from the line of Yahuwdah (Judah) as well and so we see that it is the Tribe of Yahuwdah that bears the burden of the kinsman redeemer over and over again in scripture. The nation of Yisra el had also become a widow because she was forsaken by her husband (divorced) and she lost the land of her inheritance (Isaiah 54:3-4). Her earthly High Priest, John the Baptist (who was a Levite) was also killed by King Herod. You see the role of the High Priest (called the Kohen Gadol in Hebrew) was supposed to be symbolic of the role of a husband, redeemer for the nation of Yisra el. Every year on Yom Kippur, only the High Priest was allowed to go into the Holy of Holies to make intercession for the entire nation of Yisra el. That High Priest had to first sanctify himself with the blood of a bull and then he could be worthy to sprinkle the blood of the sacrificial goat on the mercy seat for Yisra el. If that High Priest had any sin in his life for which he had not repented of, then he could die behind the veil and thus Yisra el was not atoned for that year nor accepted. In the case of Judah s three sons, we see that the first son named Er represents the imperfect priesthood of the Levites 4

who could not make permanent atonement for the bride because they themselves were born with a sinful nature. John the Baptist was a Levite. His father Zechariah was a High Priest and so was John. John was called the greatest of men born to a woman by our Mashiyach himself: Mattithyahuw (Matthew) 11:11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there has not risen a greater than Yahuwchanon (John) the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. You see, even though John was the greatest among those born of women, he was still born with a sinful nature and unfit to be the kinsman redeemer for Yisra el. But now Yisra el was about to crucify her own Mashiyach thus making her a widow twice, just like Tamar (Isaiah 54:4). Tamar s second husband Onan, was then typified as the crucified Mashiyach (Messiah) Yahuwshuwa, because a dead High Priest cannot redeem the bride either. Even though Mashiyach was more than willing to redeem the bride, once he was dead, he could no longer qualify as the redeemer because he must be alive in order to redeem her! Onan was a picture of sinful man and our Mashiyach came in the likeness of sinful man (Romans 8:3). Mashiyach came to destroy the sinful nature on the cross. In other words, he came to destroy the sinful nature of Onan (symbolic of the House of Judah), the unwilling kinsman redeemer! But then we have Judah s third son Shelah whose name means petition who typifies the resurrected Mashiyach---the promised son! You see Yahuwdah (Judah) promised to send his son Shelah to be the kinsman redeemer for Tamar, but then he ended up becoming her kinsman redeemer himself! 5

You see there is none who is perfect except for our Heavenly Father. Even our Mashiyach said it himself: Marqos (Mark) 10:18 And Yahuwshuwa said unto him, Why call you me good? There is none good but one, that is Elohiym. Mattithyahuw (Matthew) 5:48 Be you therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. The only one who was perfect enough to be the kinsman redeemer for the nation of Yisra el was the Heavenly Father himself who is typified in Judah in this story! In Bereshiyth (Genesis) 38:1-2, we see that the 4 th son born to Ya aqob (Jacob) whose name is Yahuwdah (Judah) marries a Canaanite woman (a Gentile) and she was the daughter of a man named Shuwah. Now the word Shuwah in Hebrew means wealth and this is important because the double portion blessing given to Joseph involved the wealth of the nations. In order for Joseph & Judah to become one stick (one tree) again according to Ezekiel 37:16-17, that means that both tribes (Joseph-Ephrayim & Judah) must inherit the double which is the priestly blessing of the Melchizedek priesthood (from the tribe of Judah) and also the wealth of the nations or the fullness of the Gentiles given to Joseph and his son Ephrayim. You see Joseph is the Father of Ephrayim and the double portion blessing was promised to both Father & Son. Ephrayim is full of idolatry (Hosea 4:17) and he is unfit to receive this double portion blessing. He only qualifies to receive this blessing through his Father Joseph (who is a type of Messiah), and the wealth of the nations belongs to him: Tehilliym (Psalm) 2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give you the heathen for your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession. Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 61:6 But you shall be named the Priests of YHWH: men shall call you the Ministers of our Elohiym: you shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall you boast yourselves. Romiym (Romans) 11:12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? 6

Now, let s read the entire chapter of Genesis 38, before moving forward with our study: Bereshiyth (Genesis) 38: 3 And she conceived, and bare a son; and he called his name Er. 4 And she conceived again, and bare a son; and she called his name Onan. 5 And she yet again conceived, and bare a son; and called his name Shelah: and he was at Chezib, when she bare him. *Note: Now let s take a look at the meaning of the names of Judah s three sons: Er = awake Onan = strong Shelah = a petition. The meanings of their names will have significance as this teaching unfolds. So let s continue. Bereshiyth (Genesis) 38: 6 And Yahuwdah (Judah) took a wife for Er his firstborn, whose name was Tamar. 7 And Er, Yahuwdah s (Judah s) firstborn, was wicked in the sight of YHWH; and YHWH slew him. 8 And Yahuwdah (Judah) said unto Onan, Go in unto your brother s wife, and marry her, and raise up seed to your brother. 9 And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother s wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother. 10 And the thing which he did displeased YHWH: wherefore he slew him also. 7

11 Then said Yahuwdah (Judah) to Tamar his daughter in law, Remain a widow at your father s house, till Shelah my son be grown: for he said, Lest peradventure he die also, as his brethren did. And Tamar went and dwelt in her father s house. 12 And in process of time the daughter of Shuwah Yahuwdah s (Judah s) wife died; and Yahuwdah (Judah) was comforted, and went up unto his sheepshearers to Timnath, he and his friend Hirah the Adullamite. *Note: it is important at this point to show the meanings of these names. First of all the name of the town where they went to shear the sheep is Timnath which in Hebrew means portion. Then there is Ya aqob s friend Hira the Adullamite and his name means a noble family. And the word Adullamite means justice for the people. The meanings of these names will all paint a picture as we progress with this teaching so let s continue. Bereshiyth (Genesis) 38: 13 And it was told Tamar, saying, Behold your father in law goes up to Timnath to shear his sheep. 14 And she put her widow s garments off from her, and covered her with a vail, and wrapped herself, and sat in an open place, which is by the way to Timnath; for she saw that Shelah was grown, and she was not given unto him to wife. 15 When Yahuwdah (Judah) saw her, he thought her to be a harlot; because she had covered her face. 16 And he turned unto her by the way, and said, Go to, I pray you, let me come in unto you; (for he knew not that she was his daughter in law.) And she said, What will you give me, that you may come in unto me? 17 And he said, I will send you a kid (goat) from the flock. And she said, Will you give me a pledge, till you send it? 8

18 And he said, What pledge shall I give you? And she said, Your signet, and your bracelets, and your staff that is in your hand. And he gave it her, and came in unto her, and she conceived by him. 19 And she arose, and went away, and laid by her vail from her, and put on the garments of her widowhood. 20 And Yahuwdah (Judah) sent the kid (goat) by the hand of his friend the Adullamite, to receive his pledge from the woman s hand: but he found her not. 21 Then he asked the men of that place, saying, Where is the harlot, that was openly by the way side? And they said, There was no harlot in this place. 22 And he returned to Yahuwdah (Judah), and said, I cannot find her; and also the men of the place said, that there was no harlot in this place. 23 And Yahuwdah (Judah) said, Let her take it to her, lest we be shamed: behold, I sent this kid (goat), and you have not found her. 24 And it came to pass about three months after, that it was told Yahuwdah (Judah), saying, Tamar your daughter in law has played the harlot; and also, behold, she is with child by whoredom. And Yahuwdah (Judah) said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt. 25 When she was brought forth, she sent to her father in law, saying, By the man, whose these are, am I with child: and she said, Discern, I pray you, whose are these, the signet, and bracelets, and staff. 26 And Yahuwdah (Judah) acknowledged them, and said, She has been more righteous than I; because that I gave her not to Shelah my son. And he knew her again no more. 9

27 And it came to pass in the time of her travail, that, behold, twins were in her womb. 28 And it came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first. 29 And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, How have you broken forth? This breach be upon you: therefore his name was called Pharez. 30 And afterward came out his brother that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah. *Note: it is also important to reveal the meaning of the name of Tamar and her twin sons as well as the name of Judah: Tamar = palm tree Judah = praised Pharez = breach Zarah = a rising of light, to shoot forth beams, the rising of the sun. In Exodus 15:27 & Numbers 33:9, the seventy palm trees represent the seventy base nations or the Gentiles and the twelve wells of water represent the 12 Tribes of Yisra el. You see Tamar represents the nations or the Gentiles which is why her name means palm tree. How do we know that the number 70 represents the nations? In Shemoth (Exodus) 1:5 it says that out of Ya aqob (Jacob) came 70 descendants from his own loins. Also, there were 70 disciples at Pentecost (Shabuoth) to represent these 70 base nations of the earth, because in Luke 10:1-7, our Messiah appointted 70 disciples. In Exodus 24:1 and Numbers 11:25 it states that there were 70 elders of Yisra el. There are 70 bullocks offered on the Feast of Tabernacles for the 70 base nations from the descendants of Noah, hence the reason why we know that there were 70 disciples present on Shabuoth (Pentecost). Also in the temple service there are 70 shekels presented for the redemption (bride price) of the 70 nations (Numbers 7:31-55). In Exodus 38:29, there are 70 talents of brass (representing the sins of the nations) offered before YaHuWaH by the priests. 10

Yahuwdah (Judah) Becomes the Kinsman Redeemer for Yisra el (Ephrayim) Now in Genesis 38 account, we see that Judah s son Onan refused to perform the duty of a kinsman redeemer for the widowed wife of his brother. Because of Onan s refusal to be the kinsmen for Yisra el, he was slain by YaHuWaH. Tamar s first husband Er was wicked but his name means awake. What does this symbolize? Well it symbolizes the fact that at Mashiyach s first coming, he came in the likeness of sinful flesh according to Romans 8:3. Not that our Mashiyach himself was wicked, for he was without sin. But he came as a representation of sinful flesh in order to destroy the sinful nature on the cross. But when Mashiyach resurrected he was awake. This means that Er is a symbol of the sinful nature of the sons of Judah. But when they die to their old sinful nature then they can be born-again into a new creature, one who is awake and alive. And then we have Onan who is the second son of Judah who is also type of the House of Judah (Jews) who were commissioned in Genesis 49:9-10 to be the spiritual leaders for the rest of the tribes. But they failed to be that strong leader. And so our Mashiyach had to take on the role for the House of Judah as the strong leader for Yisra el. You see Judah was given the scepter to lead and rule the entire House of Yisra el spiritually. In Genesis 48 & 49 we read that Ya aqob (Jacob) gave part of his blessing to Judah (the role of spiritual leader), and the other part of his blessing to Joseph through his two sons Ephrayim & Manasseh. Joseph received the wealth of the nations for an inheritance, while Judah received the priestly blessing of the Melchizedek priesthood that is forever (Hebrews 7). Toge ther, both Judah & Joseph (Ephrayim) make up what is called the double portion inheritance. In order for Judah to gain the wealth of the nations, they must become one with their estranged brother Joseph again. And in order for Joseph to receive the priestly blessing of Melchizedek he must become one with his brother Judah again! And so our Mashiyach came as a representation of both Judah & Joseph (Ephrayim)! You see, Onan s refusal to be the kinsman redeemer for Tamar is a picture of the House of Judah refusing to be the kinsman redeemer for the other Ten Northern Tribes of Yisra el who were later on divorced and estranged from the covenant (see Jeremiah 3:8, Isaiah 54, 1 st Kings 12). Onan was struck dead also but his name means strong because he was supposed to be a strong leader but even he could not redeem Yisra el because he also was a picture of the sinful 11

nature. Onan represents the crucified Mashiyach who cannot redeem the bride as a dead man. He could only redeem her as one who was alive and awake---in other words resurrected! Judah (Onan s father) represents the Heavenly Father who then made a vow to Tamar. Tamar is a type of the Gentiles who become part of the Commonwealth of Yisra el when they are married to the Lion of Judah (Ephesians 2:11-12). In Isaiah 54:9, YaHuWaH makes a vow to Yisra el promising to her that she would no longer be called a widow. In Isaiah 62, YaHuWaH makes the vow again saying that Jerusalem shall no longer be called forsaken (divorced) for she will be called Hephzibah which means my delight is in her, and her land shall be called Beulah which means married. Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 62: 4 You shall no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall your land any more be termed Desolate: but you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah: for YHWH delights in you, and your land shall be married. 5 For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you: and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your Elohiym rejoice over you. Now let s get back to Genesis 38 and let s see what happens next. We see that after Er & Onan died, Judah (their father) promises to give to Tamar his youngest son Shelah as a husband and his name means petition. But as we read on, we find out that Judah ended up becoming the kinsman redeemer himself even though he was the Father and not the Son! This is a picture of the Heavenly Father himself putting on human flesh to become the Son, and thereby becoming the kinsman redeemer himself! In Zechariah 12:10 we read an end-time prophecy. In this prophecy, YaHuWaH is speaking of himself in the first person and he says that the inhabitants of Jerusalem will look upon ME whom they have pierced and then he goes on to say and they shall mourn for HIM as one mourns for his ONLY SON! Now in the original Hebrew Old Testament (TaNaKh) there are many places where the symbol for the Alef & Taw appear within the scriptures, but the English translators did not know what to do with these symbols, so they were 12

left out of the text. But whenever we see The Alef & Taw in the scriptures, we know that this is referring to the pre-incarnate eternal Mashiyach as the lamb slain from the foundation of the world. See my other article entitled: The Alef &Taw: The Red Heifer & The Two Sticks. This prophecy in Zechariah 12 shows us beyond a shadow of a doubt that YaHuWaH himself (the Father) was pierced for us in the human body of Yahuwshuwa (the Son). Zekaryahuw (Zechariah) 12: 6 In that day will I ALEF & TAW את make the governors of Yahuwdah (Judah) like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Yerushalayim (Jerusalem). 7 YHWH ALEF & TAW את also shall save the tents of Yahuwdah (Judah) first, that the glory of the house of Dawiyd (David) and the glory of the inhabitants of Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) do not magnify themselves against Yahuwdah (Judah). 13

8 In that day shall YHWH defend the inhabitants of Yerushalayim (Jerusalem); and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as Dawiyd (David); and the house of Dawiyd (David) shall be as Elohiym (God), as the angel of YHWH before them. 9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I ALEF & TAW את will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Yerushalayim (Jerusalem). 10 And I will pour upon the house of Dawiyd (David), and upon the inhabitants of Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon ALEF & TAW את ME whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for HIM, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for HIM, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. You will notice that the ME and the HIM are the same person who was PIERCED! In these verses YaHuWaH is speaking in the first person about himself when he says I will seek to destroy and just before the word I is the Alef & Taw which is a symbol for Messiah! In verse 10 when it says they will look upon me this is referring to YaHuWaH (the Father) and the Alef & Taw is right there in front of the word ME in the Ancient Hebrew text denoting that the Father & the Son are one and the same being! The Heavenly Father himself made a vow (an oath) to Yisra el promising to redeem her by sending his SON (typified in Shelah) which means petition but then how did he fulfill that promise? He became the SON! In Yeshayahuw (Isaiah 9:6) that we see a prophecy about the Son being born to us, and he shall also be called the Everlasting Father. Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty Elohiym, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. In the Hebrew Old Testament on esword, it is #5703 seen as five letters: Alef, דאביע as: Beyt, Yad, Ayin, Dalet. The Ancient Paleo Pictographs are seen Ab (Father) and Ad (everlasting) which put together is ABYAD. What does this word Abyad mean? Let s look at the Hebrew Letters that spell this word: Alef = the head of an ox, or the red heifer, power, strong leader. 14

Beyt = the family, the house. Yad = the arm or hand. Ayin = the eye. Dalet = the door. So we have the Father (Ab) which means the head of the household, the leader. And then we have the Yod, which means the arm (this is the Mashiyach who implements the Father s plan). And then we have the eye and the door (ayin, dalet), seen by the two letters Ad since the door to eternity is Mashiyach (John 10:7-9), and he watches over us and instructs us with his eye (Psalm 32:8). The Father of the house is the arm, the eye and the door! This shows us a picture of the Father and the Son as one being----abyad! In this prophecy in Isaiah 9:6 we see that the Son is also the Father. This tells us that YaHuWaH came to earth in the role of the Son while at the same time, he remained on the throne as Father. YaHuWaH himself came to play the part of the Son in front of us to show us how to live as sons. But at the same time he remained on the throne as Father. Now, some of you may be asking yourselves, did he split himself into two people? The answer to that is no. Let me ask all you men a question: Are you able to be a Father and a Son at the same time? Of course you are! And for the women, Are you able to be both a mother and a daughter at the same time? Yes you can! Do you have to split yourself into two different people in order to do this? No! You see a person is made up of three parts: body, mind and spirit. Our Heavenly Father is a disembodied spirit, but he also has a visible image who is the Son. Colossians 1:15-16 says that the Son is the visible image of the invisible Elohiym. YaHuWaH is omnipresent and he is able to everywhere at once. He was able to put on human flesh and become the Son while at the same time remain on the throne as Father. Some people might ask was he talking to himself when he hung on the cross? The answer to that question is yes! Romans 8:23 says that the Spirit of YHWH prays through us to the Spirit of YHWH in heaven! And he makes intercession for us! Ephesians 1:11 tells us that YaHuWaH works all things after the counsel of his own will. This means that he counsels with himself! 15

Now, let s continue with our study about the kinsman redeemer. John the Baptist had to die in order to show that the High Priest after the order of the sons of Aaron was now being forever changed to the Melchizedek Priesthood every year on Yom Kippur. In this case, Yahuwshuwa was the cousin (a close relative) of John the Baptist who was fulfilling the role of the Kinsman Redeemer or the brother of the dead husband. When Yahuwshuwa began his ministry as High Priest (right after John died), at that point, he became the kinsman redeemer for the entire nation of Yisra el. The Towrah says that if the woman s husband s relative refuses to do the duty of a kinsman redeemer for her, then she must loose his shoe from off of his foot and the elders must spit in his face. (Deuteronomy 25:9-10). If the woman s dead husband s relative agrees to marry her and she has a son, then the Towrah states the following: Debariym (Deuteronomy) 25:6 And it shall be, that the firstborn which she bears shall succeed in the name of his brother which is dead, that his name be not put out of Yisra el. Yahuwshuwa was about to do what Boaz did for Naomi & Ruth by becoming the kinsman redeemer for Yisra el (Ruth 4:7-8). John recognized that he was not worthy to be the kinsman redeemer for Yisra el because he was a mere human being born with a sinful nature. He was a Levitical High Priest but not an eternal High Priest after the order of Melchizedek. But Yahuwshuwa was the only one found worthy to become her kinsman redeemer. Why? Because as the Father come in the flesh, he was perfect, and we know that only the Father in heaven is perfect! 16

John also knew that Yahuwshuwa was about to bear the shame and guilt for the sins of the House of Judah and their refusal to be the kinsman redeemer. The Levitical Priests in the Temple were supposed to also represent the bride of YaHuWaH, while the High Priest the Kohan Gadol represents the kinsman redeemer (the husband of the bride). The Levites wore white garments in the Temple and they were adorned with jewels in their breastplate (choshen) for the 12 Tribes of Yisra el just like the New Yerushalayim (Revelation 21:18-21). The Levites even had to examine themselves and wash themselves in the bronze laver which was made from the mirrors of the women (Exodus 38:8). The Levites represent the bride of YaHuWaH who prepares herself and washes herself by the washing of water by the word (Ephesians 5:26). In this case, Yahuwchanon (John) was about to perform the role of both the widowed wife (Yisra el) and also the High Priest (the dead kinsman redeemer) at the same time! If the brother of the widow refused to be the kinsman redeemer (in this case it was the House of Judah, the brother of Levi who refused to be the kinsmen), then the widow (Yisra el) was supposed to remove the shoe off of the brother of her dead husband s foot. This would be Yahuwdah s (Judah s) foot and she was supposed to spit in his face. But John knew that he was not worthy because he was born with a sinful nature. You see the Levites represented the imperfect priesthood because they are made up of mortal men who end up dying. But the House of Judah represents the eternal priesthood of Melchizedek because they are the ones who resurrect when they are married to the Lion of the Tribe of Judah! Ibriym (Hebrews) 8: 17

9 And as I may so say, Lewiy (Levi) also, who receives tithes, payed tithes in Abraham. 10 For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchizedek met him. 11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchizedek, and not be called after the order of Aharown (Aaron)? 12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. 13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertains to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar. 14 For it is evident that our YHWH sprang out of Yahuwdah (Judah); of which tribe Mosheh (Moses) spoke nothing concerning priesthood. 15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchizedek there arises another priest. It is for this very reason that our Mashiyach said to the Samaritan woman at the well (for she symbolized Tamar and the lost tribes of Yisra el): Yahuwchanon (John) 4:22 You worship you know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Yahuwdiy (Jews). 18

Why did Mashiyach say salvation is of the Jews? Because it was the eternal priesthood of Melchizedek that was given to the Tribe of Yahuwdah (Judah) and those who belong to the Mashiyach are part of that priesthood! 1 st Keefa (Peter) 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; And so Yahuwchanon (John) the Baptist had to die in order to signify that the imperfect (mortal) High Priest of the Levites was about to die and now the immortal eternal priesthood of Melchizedek (from Judah) was about to become the kinsman redeemer! Mashiyach Yahuwshuwa was not born with a sinful nature for he was perfect and spotless. Yahuwshuwa was about to be killed and become like the second 19

dead son of Yahuwdah (Judah) Onan. But when he resurrected, he would become like the living son (Shelah, the promised son) who would then be able to perform the duty of a Kinsman for Yisra el! That is why John said this: Yahuwchanon (John) 1:27 He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe s latchet I am not worthy to unloose. You see in the story of Judah and his three sons that he bore to the Canaanite woman, we see that Er represents the first husband for Yisra el typified in John the Baptist (the mortal imperfect High Priest of the Levites). Tamar is a symbol of the nation of Yisra el who also became a widow as seen in Isaiah 54:4. Now we know that John the Baptist was not a wicked man, but he simply represented the nature of sinful man and the imperfect priesthood of the sons of Aaron. Then we have Onan as the second son of Judah who also married Tamar. He is typified in Yahuwshuwa in his mortal body who came in the likeness of sinful flesh. But then he died on the tree, just as Onan died for his refusal to be the kinsmen for his brother. But you might say but Yahuwshuwa did fulfill his role as the kinsman redeemer, so how does he typify Onan? Well it is easy to see because a dead High Priest cannot redeem anyone! But when that dead High Priest resurrects from the dead, now he is a symbol of the 3 rd son of Judah named Shelah whose name means petition. You see as the resurrected High Priest after the order of Melchizedek, he was then able to fulfill the oath (the petition)! We can read about the oath in Hebrews 6:16-17 and in Hebrews 7: Since our Mashiyach resurrected after three days and three nights it is no small coincidence that the third son of Judah was the one who would be the promised son. 1 st Yahuwchanon (John) 5:15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. When our Mashiyach was about to be crucified, the High Priest and the elders of the Sanhedrin spit in his face: Mattithyahuw (Matthew) 26:67 Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands, What was happening here? In the story of the prodigal son there are two brothers being represented (Ephrayim & Judah). Ephrayim is younger and Judah is 20

the older son. Ephrayim seen in the prodigal son was thought to be dead (Luke 15:24). But since the older brother Yahuwdah (Judah) refused to be a kinsman redeemer to the widowed wife of his brother (the lost tribes of Yisra el), our Mashiyach was taking even the sins of the older brother Yahuwdah (Judah) by bearing the shame of the brother who refused to raise up a name for his brother s wife (Yisra el). There was enmity between Jew & Gentile (Ephesians 2:15) and so the House of Yahuwdah refused to allow the lost tribes of Yisra el to come near to the temple so that they could hear the Towrah, repent and be saved. The Apostle Sha uwl speaks of this in Ephesians 2:14 about how there was a middle wall of partition built up around the Temple in order to keep the Gentiles out. This was the result of the enmity that existed between the House of Judah & the House of Ephrayim. Mashiyach abolished in his flesh this enmity (hatred) between these two houses in order to make the Two Houses of Yisra el one new man (Ephesians 2:15-16). Judah s refusal to be the kinsman redeemer for the other lost tribes is what caused the ordinances (man-made laws of Pharisaism) to exist! Yahuwshuwa did not abolish the Mosaic Law! He abolished this Pharisaic Law which kept The Lost Sheep of the House of Yisra el separated from Yahuwdah (Judah) and thus kept them out of covenant with the Father! And so the Father came as Lion of Judah the Son who redeemed the bride himself! Bereshiyth (Genesis) 38: 8 And Yahuwdah (Judah) said unto Onan, Go in unto your brother s wife, and marry her, and raise up seed to your brother. 9 And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother. *Note: Onan refused to perform the duty of kinsmen for his brother s widow Tamar according to Deuteronomy 25. This is a picture of the House of Judah refusing to redeem the widow (the other lost sheep of Yisra el). Bereshiyth (Genesis) 38: 10 And the thing which he did displeased YHWH: wherefore he slew him also. 21

11 Then said Yahuwdah (Judah) to Tamar his daughter in law, Remain a widow at your father s house, till Shelah my son be grown: for he said, Lest peradventure he die also, as his brethren did. And Tamar went and dwelt in her father s house. 12 And in process of time the daughter of Shuwa Yahuwdah s (Judah s) wife died; and Yahuwdah (Judah) was comforted, and went up unto his sheepshearers to Timnath, he and his friend Hirah the Adullamite. 13 And it was told Tamar, saying, Behold your father in law goes up to Timnath to shear his sheep. 14 And she put her widow s garments off from her, and covered her with a vail, and wrapped herself, and sat in an open place, which is by the way to Timnath; for she saw that Shelah was grown, and she was not given unto him to wife. *Note: What we are seeing here is a picture of the Ten Lost Tribes of Yisra el (typified here in Tamar) as she is putting off her widow s garments (as seen in Isaiah 54:4) for she is about to give birth and no longer be barren. When she covered her face with a veil, this is Yom Kipper language as the priest had to go behind the veil and he covered the sins of the people with the blood of a goat. In the same way that Rebekah covered herself with a veil just before going to meet Yitzqach (Isaac) her bridegroom, Tamar is veiling herself to her kinsman redeemer, Judah. In the last days the House of Judah will be hidden and veiled (covered) and sheltered during the Ten Days of Awe between The Day of Trumpets & The Day of Atonement until the day of their redemption on Yom Kippur (Zechariah 12:10, Revelation 2:10). The House of Judah to this day will not recognize the other Ten Tribes and they insist on calling them Gentiles. But on Yom Kippur, in Zechariah 12:10, Judah will not only recognize their Messiah, but they will also recognize the other Ten Tribes whom they refused to acknowledge before! The other Ten Tribes are veiled to Judah because the Yahuwdiy (Jews) do not want to recognize the other lost tribes as being part of the inheritance. Judah was about to become one flesh now with the House of Ephrayim (Yisra el) typified in Tamar. Bereshiyth (Genesis) 38:15 When Yahuwdah (Judah) saw her, he thought her to be a harlot; because she had covered her face. 22

*Note: Tamar is seen here as a type of the Ten Lost Tribes of Yisra el who did indeed become like a harlot with their pagan holidays and their idolatry with other false deities (Jeremiah 3:1-8, Hosea 2:5, 3:3, 4:14-15). The attitude of the Jews towards Gentiles has always been one of reproach. The House of Judah was supposed to be the keepers of the Oracles of Elohiym and the lawgivers (Genesis 49:10, Romans 3:2). But instead of bringing the lost sheep home to the Towrah and out of their captivity, they made it difficult for them by heaping added laws and traditions. Judah here is making it difficult for Tamar to be redeemed and he is dodging her. He was not planning to live up to his agreement, but then we see that he ends up becoming the kinsman redeemer any way when he is tricked by Tamar. Do you remember how Jacob was tricked into marrying Leah? The same thing is happening again here with Judah & Tamar because Jacob & Judah both represent the leaders of the House of Yisra el (Judah) but Leah & Tamar both represent the Ten Lost Tribes of Yisra el who had been divorced and sent away to then nations and later on deemed as Gentiles (no longer my people, Hosea 1:9). Bereshiyth (Genesis) 38: 16 And he turned unto her by the way, and said, Go to, I pray you, let me come in unto you; (for he knew not that she was his daughter in law.) And she said, What will you give me, that you may come in unto me? 17 And he said, I will send you a kid (goat) from the flock. And she said, Will you give me a pledge, till you send it? *Note: We are once again seeing Yom Kippur typology here as Tamar asks for a pledge (oath) and Judah offers to her the kid of a goat to be sent just as our Mashiyach who is from the House of Judah was to be the goat sent to redeem Yisra el on Yom Kippur! Bereshiyth (Genesis) 38: 18 And he said, What pledge shall I give you? And she said, Your signet, and your bracelets, and your staff that is in your hand. And he gave it her, and came in unto her, and she conceived by him. 23

*Note: In Hebrew, the word signet is the word chowtham and it means a signature ring, the name, (the seal). Pictured is a signet ring which is like having power of attorney. When someone is given a signet, it means you can use their name! The Hebrew word for bracelet is pathiyl and it means cord, thread, ribbon. You see every year on Yom Kippur the priest would tie a red ribbon around the horns of the scapegoat and send him into the wilderness. The other half of that scarlet cord would be tied to the Temple doors. If the nation was accepted that year and their sins were atoned for, then the ribbon would miraculously turn from red to white! Isaiah 1:18 hints about this when YaHuWaH declares that even though our sins are like scarlet they shall be as white as snow. And finally, the word for staff is matteh and it means branch or tribe. Hence, Tamar is asking to be given his name or to be named after his tribe which is Yahuwdah (Judah) symbolized by the signet (signature). And she is asking for a covering (atonement) which is symbolized by the red ribbon (bracelet or cord) that is placed around the horns of the scapegoat. Later on when Tamar bore twins, a red cord or bracelet was also placed on the arm of Zarah whose name comes from a root word that means seed (zera) and he symbolizes the Mashiyach who would later on bear the red cord as the scapegoat. Tamar was also asking for Judah s staff (to be a grafted-in branch or part of his tribe). Bereshiyth (Genesis) 38: 19 And she arose, and went away, and laid by her vail from her, and put on the garments of her widowhood. 24

20 And Yahuwdah (Judah) sent the kid (goat) by the hand of his friend the Adullamite, to receive his pledge from the woman s hand: but he found her not. *Note: Here Yisra el (typified in Tamar) is taking off her veil and putting on her widow garments again. She is waiting for the day when she will give birth (Isaiah 54:1), and she will raise up seed for her dead husband (her Messiah). In the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15, the older son represents the Two Southern Tribes of Yahuwdah (Judah) & BinYamiyn (Benjamin). But the younger son represents the Ten Northern Tribes of Ephrayim. When the younger son (typified as Ephrayim) came back home to the Father, he was given 3 things: 1.) The robe and the fatted calf (red heifer for cleansing, atonement, covering wedding garment, protection, provision). 2.) The ring (signet ring or signature, the name, authority, power of attorney). 3.) The shoes on his feet (membership into the tribe or family). Luqas (Luke) 15: 22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: 23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: And so we can see that Tamar represents the Ten Northern Tribes of Yisra el (typified in Ephrayim) who were later on divorced (estranged). Tamar, (like the prodigal son) was redeemed and when she was redeemed, she received the bracelets (symbolic of blood atonement with the red heifer or fatted calf). She also received the signet ring (symbolic of the name) and the staff or branch (symbolic of the tribe). When the prodigal son was given shoes on his feet it represents the same thing as the staff because in Ezekiel 47:22, there was provision made for a stranger who wanted to sojourn with any Yisra elite tribe. He was then counted as one born among the tribes of Yisra el when he sojourns or walks with that tribe. The shoes therefore represents one who 25

sojourned and now his shows are worn out, and so he receives a new pair to signify that he is part of the tribe or family now. In Joshua 1:3 a promise was given to Yisra el every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you. When Ruth went to Boaz to ask him to be her kinsman redeemer she was instructed by Naomi, her mother-in-law to uncover his feet (Ruth 3:4-7). If a close relative of the widow s dead husband refuses to perform the duty of a kinsman, then he was to remove his shoe from off of his foot and the widow would spit in his face (Deuteronomy 25). The shoe, on the foot therefore represents belonging to a tribe or a family and it has the same meaning as when Tamar asked Judah for his staff. Since we have two feet the shoes also represent the double portion blessing. The right foot represents the priestly blessing (Exodus 29:20), and the left foot represents the riches of the nations or Gentiles (Revelation 10:2). Yahuwshuwa (typified in Judah) was sent as the kid of a goat by the hand of a fit man (according to Leviticus 16:21). You see the instructions for Yom Kippur in Leviticus 16 states that there shall be Twin Goats and lots must be cast to determine which goat will be killed as the sacrifice on Yom Kippur and which goat will be sent into the wilderness. When our Mashiyach was baptized by John, that was his legal moment of death because in Romans 6:4 it says that mikvah (baptism) symbolizes death to the old sinful man. The word scapegoat in Hebrew is Azazel which means goat of departure and it also means the innocent party who takes the place of the guilty party. Mashiyach Yahuwshuwa fulfilled the sacrificial goat who as symbolically killed at his baptism. John the Baptist was the Levite (the High Priest) that year who performed the sacrifice as the kinsman redeemer. Caiaphas was not a legitimate High Priest in the eyes of YaHuWaH because he was planted there by Rome s government and he was an Edomite, not a Levite. But then the Holy Spirit (the fit man) sent our Mashiyach Yahuwshuwa into the wilderness as the scapegoat as well! You see he fulfillled the twin goats! 26 Right after those forty days of fasting in the wilderness, our Mashiyach emerged from the

wilderness and went to the Temple to read Isaiah 61 out loud declaring that he was the anointed one that was sent to be their Kinsmen Redeemer and that he was there to declare the acceptable year of YHWH! You see, only the High Priest could declare the acceptable year of YHWH if the sins of the nation had been sufficiently atoned for! That is why Yahuwchanon (John) the Baptist had to die! Now the widow (Yisra el) had lost her earthly High Priest (John) and now her new kinsman redeemer was the Messiah after the order of Melchizedek from Judah! Since the sacrificial goat was to be sent into the wilderness by the hand of a fit man, Judah s friend the Adullamite means justice for the people. This means that Hira, Judah s friend represents the Holy Spirit who brings justice for the people! This is once again Yom Kippur language. For on this day the people are avenged of the injustices that were done to them and Yisra el is avenged of her enemies as seen in Revelation 19 at the second coming of (Jeremiah 23:5). Now let s continue with our study in Genesis 38. Bereshiyth (Genesis) 38: 21 Then he asked the men of that place, saying, Where is the harlot, that was openly by the way side? And they said, There was no harlot in this place. 22 And he returned to Yahuwdah (Judah), and said, I cannot find her; and also the men of the place said, that there was no harlot in this place. 23 And Yahuwdah (Judah) said, Let her take it to her, lest we be shamed: behold, I sent this kid (goat), and you have not found her. 27

24 And it came to pass about three months after, that it was told YaHuW ah (Judah), saying, Tamar your daughter in law has played the harlot; and also, behold, she is with child by whoredom. *Note: The House of Judah is now about to recognize the other Lost Tribes of Yisra el on that final Yom Kippur when Mashiyach returns, just as Judah was about to recognize Tamar. Up until now, the Jews have not recognized the other Ten Lost Tribes that are called Gentiles and they are treating them as harlots even after they have been redeemed by the blood of the Yom Kippur goat (Messiah). The House of Judah is not willing to share their inheritance with the other tribes and there is an attitude of exclusivity that says the Jews are the chosen people but they have forgotten that there are ten other tribes in the nations who are also chosen as well. In these last days, we are seeing the other tribes (the returning Gentiles) beginning to take on the sacred name of the Heavenly Father YaHuWaH (the seal or the signet), and they are beginning to identify themselves with the House of Yahuwdah (Judah) through the Lion of Yahuwdah (Messiah) and they are accepting the blood atonement for their harlotry (the bracelets, the covering) and they are being grafted in as a wild branch (staff) into the House of Yahuwdah (Judah). Bereshiyth (Genesis) 38: 26 And Yahuwdah (Judah) acknowledged them, and said, She has been more righteous than I; because that I gave her not to Shelah my son. And he knew her again no more. 27 And it came to pass in the time of her travail, that behold, twins were in her womb. *Note: Here is a picture of the Ten Tribes of the Lost Sheep of Yisra el (Gentiles) becoming grafted into the House of Yahuwdah and through this union, they give birth to one new man (Jew & Gentile) believers as the double portion inheritance of Yahuwceph (Joseph) through Ephrayim whose name means 28

double fruit. The woman Yisra el who was barren in Isaiah 54:1 is about to become doubly fruitful because of her trouble (Isaiah 61:7) and she will forget the shame and reproach of her widowhood (Isaiah 54:4). Judah represents the Messiah who has become her kinsman redeemer, and Tamar represents the Lost Sheep of Yisra el and they are giving birth to one new man (Ephesians 2:15, Revelation 12:5) in these last days. Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 61:7 For your shame you shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them. Now, let s continue to study Genesis 38: Bereshiyth (Genesis) 38:28 And it came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first. *Note: Once again, we are seeing Yom Kippur language here as the firstborn son here (Pharez) which means breach is a picture of the House of Judah who received firstborn status of the sons of Leah in Genesis 49:8. In other words, Judah caused the breach (gap) between the Two Houses of Yisra el. Pharez drew back his hand, which means that Judah refused to be the Kinsman Redeemer for the other lost tribes. But then the younger twin brother (Zarah) symbolizes Ephrayim who ended up becoming the firstborn because he later on accepts the blood atonement for his sins (like the prodigal son who received the fatted calf). Ephrayim ends up becoming the firstborn son even though he was born last (Jeremiah 31:9)--in other words he is born-again of incorruptible seed! Zarah also comes from a root word that means seed (zera). Bereshiyth (Genesis) 38: 29 And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, How have you broken forth? this breach be upon you: therefore his name was called Pharez. 30 And afterward came out his brother that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah. 29

The name Pharez means breach and the name Zarah means rising. It means that the House of Judah (symbolized by Pharez) caused a breach or a split between the Two Houses of Yisra el when King Rehoboam (King of Judah) refused to lighten their tax burdens (1 st Kings 12). But Zarah represents the Mashiyach who has risen from the dead in order to repair the breach between both Houses. Joseph s son Ephrayim represents the son who was estranged from his brothers (in Egypt) but when he is raised up (resurrected) he inherits the double. So we see that Mashiyach is a picture of both Twin Goats (the sacrifice and the scapegoat). He also represents Judah (the older brother) and Ephrayim (the younger brother). He also represents the first twin (Pharez) who caused the breach (gap) but then he also represents the second twin who repaired the breach (Zarah) who is the promised son! This means that both Houses of Yisra el are going to be redeemed in the end on Yom Kippur because of the scarlet thread and the pledge made with the goat. In Isaiah 58:12, we read about a breach being repaired. What is this breach? It is a broken wall a gap in the unity of the family of Yisra el. That gap is going to be repaired in the end by the one who has the scarlet thread. Pharez represents the House of Judah because the Jews have created a breach or a gap that left the other Ten Tribes of Yisra el out of the covenant and kept them from coming near. How did they do this? Well it first began with King Rehoboam (Solomon s son) who refused to lighten the taxes of the other Ten Tribes. And so because of his heavy burden on the people, there was a split in the Twelve Tribes of Yisra el. Then later on, the Jewish Sanhedrin made up a law called the law of commandments contained in ordinances (Colossians 2:14, Ephesians 2:15) which was not ordained by YaHuWaH. They invented a law that would build up a wall around the outer court of the Temple. This law meant that any returning tribe who wanted to come back into covenant with YaHuWaH could not come near or else they would be stoned to death! But our Mashiyach is like Zarah who came as the Yom Kippur goat bearing the scarlet thread upon his head (a crown of thorns) and he came to repair the breach (the gap between both houses of Yisra el). The midwife said about Pharez let this breach be upon you because the House of Yahuwdah (Jews) 30

have been the ones who have kept the other Ten Tribes out of the covenant by putting a fence around the Towrah (extra rules and regulations). But our Mashiyach came on behalf of the tribe of Yahuwdah (Judah) to be the one to stand in the gap for Judah s sin of not performing the duty of a kinsmen and he also took the sins of Yisra el s harlotry, making her fit to be restored back to Judah! On that final day of Yom Kippur, on The Great & Terrible Day of YaHuWaH, justice will reign as our Mashiyach will return as the Lion of the Tribe of Yahuwdah to redeem both brides (Leah & Rachel) and to help bring forth the first born son typified in Ephrayim who is the repairer of the breach between both houses. But this first born son Ephrayim will take on the name of Yahuwdah (Judah) after their Mashiyach. The kinsman redeemer (Messiah) will raise up a name for the widowed wife Yisra el and that name is the name of her husband Yahuwshuwa from the House of Yahuwdah! Not only did he become the kinsman redeemer for Yisra el, but he took the shame of the brother who refused to become the kinsman redeemer! Now, Yahuwshuwa is about to give birth to a man-child is these last days with his beloved bride Yisra el (typified in Leah & Rachel) and when she gives birth to the one new man (Jew & Gentile, Ephrayim & Judah), the woman s firstborn son (Ephrayim) will succeed in the name of her husband who is Yahuwshuwa the Lion of Yahuwdah! In other words Ephrayim will be given a new name which is Yahuwdah (Judah)! Are There Two Husbands for Yisra el or One? Who honestly believes that Yisra el has two husbands? Who is the bride of Mashiyach? Who is the bride of YaHuWaH in the TaNaKh (Old Testament)? Yisra el has only one husband: Yeshayahuw (Isaiah) 54:5 For your Maker is your husband; YHWH of hosts is his name; and your Redeemer the Holy One of Yisra el; The Elohiym of the whole earth shall he be called. Colossians 1:15-16 declares that our Mashiyach Yahuwshuwa is our Creator, the one who created all things! He is the maker, the husband of the bride! Some people who adhere to the false doctrine of Dispensationalism try to say that 31

the Heavenly Father is the husband of Old Covenant Yisra el, but then they say that the Son is the husband of the New Covenant Church. The idea that there are two separate groups of people called The Church & Yisra el with two separate husbands is absurd. We know that all born-again believers are called Yisra el according to Ephesians 2: The word Church in our English Bibles is a poor translation as it comes from the Greek goddess named Circe. The same congregation of Yisra el who was saved out of Egyptian slavery and bondage is the very same congregation today who are saved out of the bondage of sin and death by the blood of the lamb. There is truly no difference between the Congregation of Yisra el taken out of Egypt and the Congregation of Yisra el redeemed by our Mashiyach the Passover Lamb. Rachel & Leah are two sisters who were married to the same man (Jacob). Through these two sisters, came 12 Tribes of Yisra el. YaHuWaH married the entire nation of Yisra el (all twelve tribes). In Jeremiah 3:7, YaHuWaH described Yisra el as two sisters (Judah & Samaria). Judah represents the Jews and Samaria represents the ten divorced tribes of Yisra el later called no longer my people (Hosea 1:9-10), in other words, they became Gentiles. In Jeremiah 3:8, YaHuWaH divorced Yisra el. In Jeremiah 3:14 YaHuWaH says that he is married to the backslider and he intends to bring her back to himself. But then in Isaiah 54 & Isaiah 62:4, he promised to redeem and marry her again and she would no longer be called a widow or one who was forsaken (divorced). How did Yisra el become a widow? She killed her own husband the Mashiyach! But when he resurrected, he became the kinsman redeemer for Yisra el! Tamar was first married to the son of Judah named Er (who died), and he represents the imperfect High Priest of the Levites and he is typified in John the Baptist (who also died). But then she was married to Onan who represents the new High Priest who died also (Messiah). But then she was promised to Shelah who represents the resurrected Mashiyach, and then she was married to Judah himself (who represents the Father as the Son). Judah promised to send his son Shelah, to Tamar to be the kinsman redeemer, but then he became the kinsman redeemer himself! The son of Judah (Shelah) was the promised Son, but the Father himself (Judah) ended up becoming the kinsman redeemer for Tamar (a type of Yisra el)! The Father s Name in the Tribe of YaHuWDaH or Judah 32

In John 4:22, Yahuwshuwa told the Samaritan woman at the well that salvation comes from the House of Yahuwdah (Judah). In the King James Version we read: You worship you know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Yahuwdiy (Jews). When we read this, many automatically think that he is telling us that salvation can be found in the modern day religion called Judaism. But that is not what our Mashiyach was declaring. In order to understand what he was telling her, we must go back to the original prophecy of the first man named Judah, the 4 th born son of Jacob & Leah: Bereshiyth (Genesis) 49: 8 Yahuwdah (Judah) you are he whom your brethren shall praise: your hand shall be in the neck of your enemies; your father s children shall bow down before you. 9 Yahuwdah (Judah) is a lion s whelp: from the prey, my son, you are gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? 10 The sceptre shall not depart from Yahuwdah (Judah), nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. *Note: this prophecy has a dual meaning. Not only is this referring to the tribe of people known as the Yahuwdiy (Jews) in the last days, but it is also referring to the Messiah who is the embodiment of the Tribe of Yahuwdah (Judah) Revelation 5:5 calls him The Lion of the Tribe of Judah. Now there is something that I want to clear up here about the term Jew. Most people associate the term with those who follow the religion of Judaism. Now I am not suggesting that those who follow Judaism are not genuine Jews. What I am going to explain here in a moment by the evidence below is that the term Jew means more than one who belongs to a religious organization. It also means more than one who carries the DNA of a Jew. What exactly does this word mean? The Hebrew Strong s Concordance gives the definition for the word Jew as follows: 33

#3064 Yhuwdiy yeh-hoo-dee patronymically from 3063; a Jehudite (i.e. Judaite or Jew), or descendant of Jehudah (i.e. Judah):--Jew. As you can see, it means a descendant of Yahuwdah or someone from the tribe of Judah. #3063 Yhuwdah yeh-hoo-daw from 3034; celebrated; Jehudah (or Judah), the name of five Israelites; also of the tribe descended from the first, and of its territory:--judah. But this word comes from a root word: #3034 yadah yaw-daw a primitive root; used only as denominative from 3027; literally, to use (i.e. hold out) the hand; physically, to throw (a stone, an arrow) at or away; especially to revere or worship (with extended hands); intensively, to bemoan (by wringing the hands):--cast (out), (make confession), praise, shoot, (give) thankful, thanksgiving. Now let us look at the Hebrew Letters in the Name Judah: Yod, Hey, Waw, Daleth, Hey You will notice that the name YaHuWDaH (Yahuwdah) has 5 Hebrew Letters and they are the very same letters in our Heavenly Father s name YaHuWaH but with one additional letter added! It is the 4 th Letter in the Hebrew alphabet called the dalet. The letter dalet means the door. This means that the Father & the Son are both seen in the tribe of YaHuWDaH for in this name is YaHuWaH plus the DOOR---the dalet! Yahuwshuwa Messiah is from the House of YaHuWDaH and he is prophetically called the door: Yahuwchanon (John) 10:7 Then said Yahuwshuwa unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 34

Yahuwchanon (John) 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. Now in order to understand fully what he means by this, we have to go back to the Tabernacle of Moses and see that there were three entrances into the Tabernacle. They are called the gate, the door and the veil. (Exodus 38:18-19, Exodus 36:37-38, Exodus 36:35-36). Yahuwchanon (John) 14:6 Yahuwshuwa said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me. You see the nick-name for the gate, the door and the veil (the three entrances into the tabernacle) were called the way, the truth, and the life! Yahuwshuwa was declaring that he is the way into the Holy of Holies! The door to salvation is in him but salvation is also seen in the Tribe of Yahuwdah which is the tribe assigned as the kinsman redeemer! That is why he told the woman at the well salvation is of the Yahuwdiy. He was telling us that there is a tribe of people called YaHuWDaH who are assigned to hold the scepter and to bring the Towrah to the other lost tribes. That is why the prophecy over Yahuwdah says unto him shall the gathering of the people be. This is an end-time prophecy about Mashiyach who is the Lion of Yahuwdah (Judah), but it is also about a tribe of people who follow him wherever he goes. In Ezekiel 47:22-23 we are told that any stranger could join any tribe of Yisra el simply by sojourning with them. In other words by walking in their footsteps and keeping the same commandments and by serving the same Creator YaHuWaH, they would be every bit as much a part of that tribe as one who is born among them. And so this means that if we are walking with Mashiyach Yahuwshuwa (sojourning with him), and we have his blood (life) in us according to John 6:53-54, we literally become part of his tribe---the tribe of Yahuwdah! Galatiym (Galatians) 3:29 And if you be Mashiyach s, (Messiah s) then are you are Abraham s seed (sperma), and heirs according to the promise. Romiym (Romans) 2: 28 For he is not a Yahuwdiy (Jew), which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 35

29 But he is a Yahuwdiy (Jew), which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of Elohiym. What does all of this mean? It means that Yahuwshuwa Messiah is the door to salvation and if we walk in his footsteps and obey his commandments we become part of his tribe! We are Yahuwdiy (Jews) not by joining a man-made religion that follows traditions of humans. But we are truly of his tribe, the tribe of YaHuWDaH because this is the tribe of people who follow the lamb wherever he goes and they sojourn with him and they become just like him! If we are born-again by the blood of the lamb who is from the tribe of Yahuwdah, then we are going to be married into his tribe! The Tribe of YaHuWDaH has their Father s name written in their foreheads: Chazown (Revelation) 14: 1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Tziyown (Zion), and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father s name written in their foreheads (YHWH). 4 These are they which were not defiled with women (the woman mother harlot church); for they are virgins (undefiled by the mother harlot church). These are they which follow (sojourn with) the Lamb whithersoever he goes. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto Elohiym and to the Lamb. 5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of Elohoym. Now, let s get back to this end-time prophecy about the House of Yahuwdah (Judah) as well as Mashiyach himself who is the Lion of the Tribe of Yahuwdah. 36 Bereshiyth (Genesis) 49:

11 Binding his foal unto the vine, and his donkey s colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes: 12 His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk. This is an end-time prophecy about the Mashiyach who is the Lion of the Tribe of Yahuwdah (Revelation 5:5) and he is now returning on a white horse in Revelation 19:8-14 with his bride and his garment is dipped in blood and his bride also has washed her wedding garments in his blood (Revelation 7:14). The donkey is also a metaphor of backslidden stiff-necked Yisra el whom he redeemed as his firstborn with the Passover Lamb sacrifice (Exodus 13:13, Numbers 22:32, Zechariah 9:9, Matthew 21:2, Luke 14:15). The Number Four Seen in Judah, Father & Son In Matthew 22:36, Yahuwshuwa was asked what is the great commandment in the Towrah? His reply was: Mattithyahuw (Matthew) 22:38-40: 37 Yahuwshuwa said unto him, You shall love YHWH your Elohiym with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, You shall love your neighbour as yourself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the Towrah (law) and the prophets. You see these Two Commandments are like the Table of Contents to the other Commandments in the entire Bible! That is why he said on these two HANG all the Towrah & Prophets. And so in order to understand how to obey these two greatest commandments, we must see the unity of the Father and the Son in the Ten Commandments. The name of YaHuWaH has 4 Hebrew Letters: Yad, Hey, Waw, Hey 37

The first 4 out of the Ten Commandments tell us how to love YaHuWaH our Father. What are they? 1.) You shall have no other mighty ones before me. 2.) You shall not make any graven image. 3.) You shall not take the name of YHWH in vain. 4.) You shall honor the Sabbath Day and keep it holy. Our Messiah s name is Yahuwshuwa (Joshua) and it has 6 Hebrew Letters: Yad, Hey, Waw, Shin, Waw, Ayin. The last 6 of out of the Ten Commandments tell us how to love our fellow man and Mashiyach (Messiah) came as the Son of Man. What are they? 5.) Honor your mother and father. 6.) You shall not kill. 7.) You shall not commit adultery. 8.) You shall not steal. 9.) You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. 10.) You shall not covet your neighbor s goods. And so the name of the Father (YHWH) has 4 letters, and the name of the Son (YHWSWA) has 6 letters = 10 Commandments! Also in Revelation 14:4 it says that the 144 Thousand follow the lamb (the Son) wherever he goes and they have their Father s name in their foreheads! Once again, it is no coincidence that the number 44 is seen in the 144,000 as well as Revelation 14:4! It is no sheer accident that Yahuwdah (Judah) was the 4 th son born to Jacob & Leah and our Mashiyach came to us in the 4 th Millennium to become our Passover Sacrifice. He was also crucified on the 4 th day of the week (Wednesday) and the letter dalet (the door) is the 4 th letter in the Hebrew Alphabet! Also, the shortened version of the name Yahuwshuwa (Joshua #3091 in the Hebrew Strong s Concordance) is Y shuwa which is #3444 in the Hebrew Strong s Concordance. Is it a coincidence that the 38

reference number for Y shuwa which means salvation also ends with 444? I don t think so! But the reference number to the name Joshua is #3091 and so = 13 and = 4! In the English-Greek Alpha-numeric system, when you add up the letters to Jesus or Y shua you end up with the number 444! In the English- Greek Alpha-numeric system, when you add up the letters to Messiah it also adds up to 444 as well! You can also simulate the Greek Alpha-numeric system with English letters by using the following method: A = 6, B = 12, C = 18, D = 24, E = 30, F = 36 etc. By assigning a numerical value of an exponent of 6 to each of the English letters in the Alphabet, you can find out what the alpha-numeric is to these names. What do these numbers mean? The 4 th letter (the dalet) repeated 3 times is for the power of the resurrection since he resurrected on the 3 rd day: I am the door, I am the door, I am the door. It also represent the witness of three since there are three witnesses in heaven (1 st John 5:7) which are the Father, the Word & the Holy Spirit and these three are ONE. There are also three that bear witness in the earth (1 st John 5:8) which are the Spirit, the Water and the Blood. There are also three witnesses of scripture that testify of Mashiyach (Luke 24:44) The Towrah, Prophets & Psalms and it is no coincidence that Luke 24:44 contains three successive 4 s in it as 444! Mashiyach described himself as the TRUTH, THE WAY & THE LIFE, which is a code name for the three entrances through the tabernacle that leads to the Holy of Holies (the gate, the door and the veil). The 8 th letter in the Hebrew Alphabet is the chet which means the fence for the sheep or the gate. The boundary that he sets up for his sheep are his instructions, his commandments, so that they do not stray and get eaten by a wolf (Satan). Hence the number 888 means: I am the Towrah, I am the Towrah, I am the Towrah. Thus the name Yahuwshuwa (444) Messiah (444) adds up to

By adding = 12, then = 3 Mashiyach is the visible image of Father, Son & Holy Spirit as 1 st John 5:7 (KJV) says: these three are ONE. By adding = 24, then = 6 Man was created on the 6 th day of creation and our Mashiyach is the visible image that we were patterned after, as we were created in the image of YaHuWaH who is ONE! The Father s name that we call upon for salvation can be accurately seen in YaHuWaH because the tribe of YaHuWDaH (Judah) has the very same letters in it and is pronounced the very same way with the added letter dalet in it which means the door. Hence the name common to both the Father and the Son are the first three letters YaHuW, and the door to the Father is Mashiyach Yahuwshuwa. He is the door of salvation! Hebrew Gematria is a bit more complicated because you have to assign a numeric value to each of the Hebrew letters as follows: Alef = 1, Beyt = 2, Gimel = 3, Dalet = 4, Hey = 5, Waw = 6 etc. When adding up the name for Yahuwshuwa (YHWSWA) or Joshua in Hebrew Gematria, we get the following number: Yad = 10 Hey = 5 Waw = 6 Shin = 21 Waw = 6 Ayin = 16 Total = = = 1 40

We see that the name of our Mashiyach Yahuwshuwa adds up to the number ONE! A different method of Hebrew Gematria assigns the numerical values differently as follows: Alef Yad = 1-10 Kaph Quph = Resh = 200 Shin = 300 Taw = 400 Going by this method, our Mashiyach s name is as follows: Yad = 10 Hey = 5 Waw = 6 Shin = 300 Waw = 6 Ayin = 70 Total = = = = 1 Once again, his name adds up to the number ONE! Now, let s add up the name of YaHuWaH Yad = 10 Hey = 5 Waw = 6 Hey = 5 41

Total = = 8 What does the number 8 represent? It represents new beginnings as we see in Revelation 21:1, that the new heaven and the new earth will come down in the 8 th Millennium and that will take us into eternity! Thus, the Father s name YaHuWaH means eternity and new beginnings and the Son s name means ONE and he is the ONE visible image who expresses the Father, Son & Holy Spirit. John saw only ONE on the throne in Revelation 4:2. Yahuwshuwa is the visible image of the Everlasting Father, (YaHuWaH) who is also the door to salvation from the tribe of YaHuWDaH! When Mashiyach returns, immediately after the tribulation in Matthew 24:31 it says that the angels shall gather the elect from the four winds of heaven. In Revelation 7:1 it says that there are four angels who stand on the four corners of the earth. In Isaiah 11:12 it says that YaHuWaH shall gather the outcasts of Yisra el and also the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. The Towrah states in Leviticus 23:22 that we are not to harvest the four corners our harvest fields for we are to save it for the poor and the stranger. Yisra elites are also commanded to wear fringes (tziytziot) on the four corners of their garments (Deuteronomy 22:12) to remind us to obey Towrah. In Zechariah 8:28 there is a prophecy about ten men (symbolic of the Ten Lost Tribes) out of the nations who will take hold of the skirt (kanaph in Hebrew) or the four corners of the garment, (fringes, tziytziot) of one Jew and they will follow the Tribe of YaHuWDaH (Judah)! YaHuWaH himself is the Father who also became the promised Son, the Kinsman Redeemer, the BRIDEGROOM, THE ONE HUSBAND OF YISRA EL! 42

Chazown (Revelation) 1: 7 Behold, he comes with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Awmane. 8 I am ALEF & TAW את the beginning and the ending, says YHWH, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Now we can better understand the role of the Father and the role of the Son. The mystery can be unlocked by understanding the Twin Goats on Yom Kippur. Both were fulfilled in the The Father & the Son. The guilty party (Yisra el) is the SON, and YaHuWaH came as a representation of the SON to become the scapegoat (the innocent party who takes the place of the guilty party). Then the FATHER fulfilled the role of the sacrificial goat the one who was worthy to be killed, because YaHuWaH as the FATHER was the only one perfect enough to atone for sin. YaHuWaH as the SON was sent into the wilderness as a symbol that Yisra el was going to go into exile in the nations to be punished for their sins. YaHuWaH the SON was the scapegoat to show that Yisra el deserved to be banished from the kingdom (sent away). But when YaHuWaH the SON emerged as the High Priest on Yom Kippur (40 days later) he was YaHuWaH the FATHER again----the kinsman redeemer! Suggested related articles are seen below: The Ten Days of Awe Leading up to Yom Kippur! Who Are The 144,000? The Twin Goats on Yom Kippur Fulfilled in YaHuW shuwa Messiah. YaHuWaH Elohiym is One Essence & Substance With His Son. 43

*Note to the reader: In all of my articles, I am quoting from the 1634 King James Version of the Bible, (unless otherwise stated). However, I have updated archaic words such as thee, thou, art, hitherto, thy, thine etc. I have also restored the sacred names of deity as they have been removed 7,000 times from the original Hebrew Scriptures. Instead of the LORD I use four English letters to represent the four Hebrew letters in our Creator s name: Yod, Hey, Waw, Hey as YHWH (called the Tetragrammaton). I have inserted lower case letters into YaHuWaH to aid in pronunciation. The word God has been restored to the Hebrew Elohiym, and the Messiah s name has been restored from Jesus to ancient Hebrew for Joshua which is represented by six Hebrew Letters: Yod, Hey, Waw, Shin, Waw, Ayin (YHWSWA). I spell the name of our Messiah as Yahuwshuwa which can be seen in the Strong s Hebrew Concordance #3091. The modern spelling is Yehowshuwa because of something called the pre-tonal shortening rule that was purposely invented to conceal the name of our Heavenly Father. After the Babylonian Captivity, the House of Judah deliberately placed a ban on pronouncing the name of our Creator and today in Judaism, they simply refer to him as ha Shem (the name) or Adonai (master). But scripture commands us to call upon the name of YHWH for salvation (Joel 2:32, Romans 10:13). Hence this ban on pronouncing the name of our Creator is a violation of the 3 rd Commandment you shall not take the name of YHWH in vain. That word for vain means to make his name empty. Also, for the title Messiah I use the Hebrew word Mashiyach from the Hebrew text the letters appear as: Mem, Shin, Yod, Chets (MSYC). Also, there are many names of patriarchs and biblical personalities whose names contain the first three letters of our Father s name (called the trigrammaton). Examples of these names are: YaHuW ceph (Joseph), YaHuW shuwa (Joshua), YaHuW chanon (John), YaHuW nathan (Jonathan), EliYaHuW (Elijah), YirmeYaHuW (Jeremiah), YeshaYaHuW (Isaiah), have the first three letters to the Creators name in them. I have restored those names where ever possible and I also include the Hebrew names for books of the Bible with the English name in parenthesis. In Modern Hebrew, the Creator s name has been removed, from many of these names and they have been shortened to: Y shua (Joshua), Yosef (Joseph), Yonathan (Jonathan) etc. The reason for this is because in the Jewish Talmud there is a man-made law that enforces a ban on pronouncing the sacred name of our Creator. This is against the scriptures, as we are commanded not to add nor remove words from the original inspired scriptures (see Deuteronomy 4:2, 12:32, Proverbs 4:6, Revelation 22:18-19). Why should this matter? In Zephaniah 3:9 we read an important end-time prophecy about how YaHuWaH is going to restore the human race back to a pure language so that we may all call upon him with one consent. That pure language is Ancient Hebrew as we find that our Creator actually created the Hebrew Alphabet at Creation. Here is how it reads in the original Hebrew Old Testament: 44

Bereshiyth (Genesis) 1:1 In the beginning Elohiym אתcreated ALEF & TAW the heaven (shamayim) and ואת WAW, ALEF & TAW the earth (erets). The first and last letter of the Hebrew Alphabet is called the Alef (A) and the Taw (T). These letters are seen in Ancient Paleo Hebrew Pictographs as the ת cross) andא the two sticks (the red heifer or the ox head The letter Waw is a picture of the nail or the tent peg. Hence, the message in these three letters is: the red heifer sacrifice, the nail, and the cross! Since there are 22 Letters in the Hebrew alphabet, and YaHuWaH created us in his image and by the spoken word (made up of letters) these letters contain frequencies by which everything in the material world exists! That is why there are 22 strands in the human DNA! In Revelation 1:8, 1:11, 21:6, 22:13, the Messiah is called the Alef & Taw (Alpha & Omega) in Greek. The entire Hebrew Alphabet is a schematic of him! Hence the reason why being restored to the Edenic Language from creation is part of the restoration of all things (Acts 3:21). 45
