3 The Setting 2100 years before Mohammed 1500 years before Christ 600 years before Confucius or Buddha

4 One In Eleven Million God looked out over 11 million Israelites and picked one to lead. God picked an 80-year old man, who had spent 40 years shepherding sheep.

5 One In Eleven Million God picked a man named Moses. Later Moses stood up against the most powerful man in the world, The King of Egypt.

6 What Did The Leader Moses Say? Deuteronomy 18:15-18 (1451 BC) God will raise up a prophet From the midst of the Israelites He will be like me Gods words will be in his mouth Listen to him

7 Deuteronomy 18:19 It shall come to pass That whosoever will not hearken to my words which he will speak in my name I will require it of him.

8 John 6:14 This is of a truth THAT prophet who will be for the world.

9 Acts 3:22-23 Peter preached this message: Moses said to your fathers, God will raise up a prophet like me. Listen to his message and follow him, for those who do not will perish.

12 Childhood Death Sentence Exodus 1 Pharaoh, the ruler, ordered child killed

13 Childhood Death Sentence Matthew 2:13-16 Herod ordered child killed

14 Out of Egypt Moses came up out of Egypt. Hebrews 11:24 Christ came up out of Egypt. Matthew 2:15

15 A Prophet Like Unto Me To Deliver God s people Exodus 3:10 Moses was chosen by God to be a deliverer of his people. I Thessalonians 1:10 Christ was chosen by God to deliver us from the wrath to come.

16 Priesthood Psalm 99:5-6 Moses was a priest of God Hebrews 7:23-27 Christ has an unchangeable priesthood

17 A Prophet Like Unto Me Deuteronomy: 33:4-5 Moses was a King in Jeshurun Revelation 17:14 Jesus is King of The Jews and King of Kings.

18 Righteous Judge Exodus 18:13 Moses was the judge Acts 17:30-31 Christ to judge the world

19 A Prophet Like Unto Me Moses, a shepherd, tended the flocks of Jethro. Jesus is the Good Shepherd who laid down his life for the sheep. John 10:14-15

20 Meekest of All Moses was the meekest man on earth, in his day. Numbers 12:3 Christ came as a meek and lowly servant. Matthew 11:29

21 A Prophet Like Unto Me Exodus 34:29-30 Moses face shined Matthew 17:1-2 Christ s face shined

22 A Prophet Like Unto Me Moses was a mediator between God and man. Exodus 33:8-9 Christ is the one mediator between God and man. I Timothy 2:5

23 Intercessor Moses made intercessory prayer. Numbers 21:7 Christ ever intercedes for us. Romans 8:34

24 A Prophet Like Unto Me Moses gave up riches to serve God. Hebrews 11:24-26 Christ gave up the riches of heaven and became poor for our sakes. II Corinthians 8:9

25 A Prophet Like Unto Me Genesis 49:28 Moses organized the 12 tribes of Israel, with 12 leaders reporting to him. Christ called the 12 disciples.

26 A Prophet Like Unto Me Numbers 11:16-17 Moses gathered 70 men for service Luke 10:1 Christ called 70 for service

27 It Comes With the Job Moses was envied by those who wanted to be the leader. Psalm 106:16 Christ was envied by the religious leaders. Matthew 17:1-2

28 Nearly Stoned To Death Moses was almost stoned to death. Exodus 17:4 Christ was almost stoned to death. John 8:59

29 A Prophet Like Unto Me Moses was rejected by his own people. Acts 7:22-25 (nr) Jesus was rejected by the world. John 1:10-11

30 Bore The People s Burdens Moses brought the people rest from their burdens. Exodus 5:4-5 Christ says come unto me and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28-29

31 A Prophet Like Unto Me Moses brought liberty to the captives. Exodus 9:13 Christ brings liberty to the captives. Luke 4:18

32 One Greater Than Moses Through inspiration of The Holy Spirit, Moses wrote the words of the first five books of the Bible. Jesus is The Word.

33 One Greater Than Moses Moses parted the Red Sea. Exodus 14:21 Christ created the seas, then stilled the sea for the fishermen. Matthew 8:26-27

34 Brought Living Waters Moses smote the Rock to provide living waters. Exodus 17:16 Christ is the Living Water John 7:37

35 One Greater Than Moses Moses provided for the bread (manna) that kept the people temporarily alive in the wilderness.

36 One Greater Than Moses Christ is The Bread of Life, that provides those in this wilderness, eternal life. John 6:35

37 All or Nothing Exodus 32:26 Who is on the Lord s side. Let him come unto me. Matthew 12:30 He who is not with me is against me.

38 One Greater Than Moses People mocked the claim that Moses would return from being with God. Exodus 32:1 People mock the claim made by Christ that he will come again. II Peter 3:3-4

39 Seals of Judgment The Lord sent judgment upon Egypt, Moses, the only one worthy, broke the seals of judgment on Egypt. Exodus 7:2-5

40 Seals of Judgment Christ will be the only One worthy to open the seals of judgment on the antichrist. Revelation 5:5-6

41 One Greater Than Moses Moses was a shepherd over the sheep for 40 years, he then spent another 40 years leading the Jews toward the promised land.

42 One Greater Than Moses Christ has gone ahead and prepared a place for us in the promised land of Heaven.

43 A Prophet Like Unto Moses Before Moses left the earth, he blessed his followers. Deuteronomy 33:1 Before Christ left his followers, he gave them a special blessing. Luke 24:50-51

44 Risen From The Dead Nearly 1,500 years after his death, Moses appeared on earth. Matthew 17:3 After his death and burial, Christ resurrected and was seen of many. Acts 1:3

45 Death Opened Way To The Promised Land Death was necessary before Israel could enter Canaan. "Moses My servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to thee." Joshua 1:2

46 Death Opened Way To The Promised Land Christ s death opened up a home in heaven for all who accept Christ as Lord and Savior. Death of Christians opens up a promised land for us. II Cor. 5:1

47 Christ Is Lord of Lords The Bible is an amazing book to prophesy 1500 years before hand, yet have the prophesy filled in such detail.

48 Christ Is Lord of Lords Only God could cause all this to come to pass. How can you know these things and not know for certain that The Bible is God s Word? Matthew 17:5 Listen to Him.
